8:50 - You've gotta get one of the reminder cables for that disc-lock, they're like gremlins waiting to pounce when your mind is busy otherwise. Ask me how I know. Ask me how I know on three different bikes until I got one 😅😅
That was a laugh and a half! This is why i love whatcing your channel! Machines, they live there own life, always some thing to be fixes or tightend or put back on or take of and put back on. You will get this fixed and Noxie will be good again. Ride safe and keep up the great work! 😊😊
I did laugh my arse off at the wheel lock...... i did that one last year...disc lock on front wheel, forgot it, went to ride off then wham....front mudguard destroyed 😂😂... keep up the vids,,get katie back with ya...have fun...from Tommy in Ireland 🇮🇪
That amount of throttle play would drive me crazy - riding around an issue like that takes a lot of concentration, so well done - but it isn't dangerous in itself as long as you don't do anything silly. Please don't ride angry, no matter how amusing it is for us.... I had a similar thing recently when my bike started weeping a little coolant after it being serviced. I missed about 4 decent riding days while I was sodding around getting it fixed, to find out it wasn't fixed and getting it actually fixed. And since then, I've ridden it once in 2 weeks because of the weather. Grumpy Stu.
Yeah it definitely requires a bit of concentration, I got quite used to it towards the end but definitely wouldn't want to keep it like this. And don't worry, I don't do reckless anger-riding, that's just a recipe for disaster 😅
I once left a D lock on my 1100 at work and set off, ripping the tyre valve out. That was a bad evening 😡. Invested in a fluorescent cable between the lock and the brake after that.
I'd say your throttle cable is end of life, had a nightmare diagnosing mine on the R6 no matter what adjustment i did. Took it off and compared it to a new one and it was just stretched beyond it's service life but then the throttle tube gave me issues so had to replace that too :) Thankfully it snaps back as it should now. I like my throttle with barely any slack which is tricky to get right due to movement of bars and binding
I’ve done that twice with the disc lock and fell off both times 😂!! Tantrums are fine but one tip though, when you went past the BP and Morrisons there was a red car on your left waiting to pull out watch out and cover your brakes ( not telling you how to ride btw) but I don’t trust car drivers 😂! And 2 ,. Get that Kawasaki you sat on at the bike show it looked amazing 400cc I think it was 🙌🏼🙌🏼👍🏾😊
the amount of dead zone on my throttle is wild lol. but ive gotten so used to it but i do eventually want to make it so theres no dead zone cuz it has got me in multiple sketchy situations when i first started. but i wanna get a new bike sometime next year so idk if ill be bothered to get it fixed
Hey Ella, thanks for the content - love the channel. Can you tell me what the mount is on your windscreen please? I am thinking of getting a GoPro and want to mount it on my windscreen. Cheers!
Hey, I use something like this: amzn.to/3ZISmPP Or ChinMounts do a fancy flexible one if you want a bit of extra security, use code "tiptoe" for 10% off 😁
I've been dealing with issues with my front brakes. The issue is a pulsing in time with the front wheel. New rotors, new rim, new pads, new bearing, aligned forks, new calipers. Still problems. Changed levers and raised handlebars, so add cable length issues to the mix... I know your pain. Point is that it's an investment into your future. The more you have to pull everything apart and work on it all, the more familiar you'll be with all the little tricks and problems and symptoms, so in future when you hear a rattle or something misbehaves slightly, you'll be able to diagnose and fix it quickly because, "oop, I've seen this one before. Let's fix her up quick smart." Chin up, chum. You'll be thankful for the stress later

The worst part is i have the cable, i just never use it 😂😂

Yellow curly cable from disk lock to handle bar grip. I would have destroyed my bike multiple times without one.
I am sure your bike will be fine. 👍
Yes I really need to start using that cable 😂😂

the d lock i have has a alarm that's motion sensored and I nearly did that before too but the alarm went off and saved me
Blimey, I'm glad mine didn't cause any damage 😅
Was that your disc left on ???..I have a plastic 'button' that I insert into the ignition switch when I put on my disc lock....good reminder !

Yeah i definitely want to see it compared to the new ones I've got on order 😆

I'd definitely recommend getting it fixed, it might not even require new cables, just some adjustments. Would make it easier to sell on :)

Definitely, it's great to learn more about the bike
The way you coddle your Bike and talk it, you'll be great mom one day 😄
Next test ride should be to get coffee and cake. The Workhouse is a good spot.
Love a good excuse for coffee
I don't believe it!! Victor Meldrew much? 🤣
Is it that time of the month
God forbid a woman gets annoyed 😂
These things are sent to try us, just stay calm, fix the problem and carry on, all will be right in the end.
Rage against the machine, in this case a motorcycle
Hahaha
New Bike when
She's stuck with me for another year whether she likes it or not
Never ride when angry lol temper tantrums
Lubricate the cables once a year at least.
that throttle play is normal
It definitely isn't 😂 yes it should move a bit but not like 3cm
No it's not the throttle doesn't even snap back.
2-3mm is normal, not 2-3cm 😅
@@shutinyanks k Im by no means an expert . all my bikse past and present ive had around 10 degrees of free play.
