MediaTek has earned appraisal by working on their products. They really outshined Qualcomm Snapdragon's reign on the smartphone market. The budget and mid-range smartphones, equipped with mediatek processors, offer better performance than the snapdragon ones. In the premium range, snd reigns, but in the mid-range, where good performance and aggressive pricing is the main focus, mtk wins.

MediaTek is hitting right spot as far as business strategy is concern but on product development it needs to catch up.. Will have to invest more on R&D to get them to Snapdragon level..
Snapdragon on other hand having all resources on hand is not hitting right spot and hence MediaTek is slight ahead in race from business aspect..
If I had to choose product of any of these company I will prefer Snapdragon but as covered in video snapdragon is quite focused on specific segments only, which I would like them to reconsider..

Quality matters... Snapdragon is better than Mediatech as far as mobile chipset is concerned....
Dimensity series is outstanding.. i personally used both snap & mtk.. snap low & mid range chipset are sucks where as dimensity works very good in low & mid range.. like 920, 1080, 7050, 7200, 8100, 8200 are always greater than 695, 4 gen 2, 750g, 778g, 782g, 888, in sequence.
And for higher budget evryone choose bionic a series rather than sd 8 generation.😊
Not a hater, i used sd 720g for a long time but interms of price to performance ratio and today's scenario the plot was twisted. Good job mtk.. say no to monopoly.
We should Cheers them in neutral aspects for better quality & budget friendly chipset.

I like Qualcomm Snapdragon mobile platform more than Mediatek and i am using Snapdragon 778G 5G mobile platform for Vivo T1 Pro 5G standing with Nothing phone (1) Processor but i mistake by choosing 6 RAM for device because of little budget😢

While both Qualcomm and Mediatek use TSMC's 4nm, Qualcomm uses the 1st gen and Mediatek uses the advanced 3rd gen node. On paper, Dimensity is certainly better (in terms of cores used as well as the GPU) but I'll reserve judgement until we see a throttle and stability test.
Next year, Qualcomm will launch its Oryon cores for smartphones and that's when things will get really interesting.

If i want to both any New 5G mobile device i would like to go with Qualcomm Snapdragon flagship Chipset like 8 Series 1th+ Gen or 2th Gen no intention to go on side of 3th Gen because it's over of my head currently, and i have to choose now three brands of smartphone first of all Samsung galaxy S number series not FE Series and second One Plus number series not lite or highlight series as like Nord Series and Others and third Nothing phone 📱

are just superior processors and also they release their kernel source whoch means after you have used your phones for 2-3 years, and is out of warranty, rooting and installing custom roms is easier on them.
Many Roms are available for Snapdragon but very few for mediatek cause they do not release their Kernel Sources.
Mediatek is closely collaborating with Texas instruments
TI engineers are teachers of Apple engineers
So mediatek is apple linked but they try to copy Qualcomm
Mediatek is plain bad in power saving

I will choose Snapdragon phones over Mediatek phones any day. Mediatek surely performs well in Benchmarks and stuff. But in real life Snapdragon is better. Qualcomm has a superior modem. So network quality and network speeds are way more superior. I've seen this personally. And app optimization is also better for qualcomm processors. Then wide support from developers, custom roms and so on. Network quality and network speeds are big thing for me as we do everything on our phones online only now a days.

Mediatek has common issues like Call Drops, bad network accessibility, wifi/Bluetooth not working, heating, and motherboard issues. Thats the reason Snapdragon is costlier than Mediatek.
But my helio g99 doesn't have any heating issues . Maybe becoz of the large size of tablet which spreads the heat . But yeah the Bluetooth issues are real .
