Funny fact: the idea came from being lazy. Instead of breaking the kit down and building it up again, I broke it down, while recording the stop motion stills, then reversed the order of the images in post instead. Work smart, not hard.

these rig set ups are some of my favorite videos to watch. I have a tilta cage for my BMPCC6kPro with the nucleus nano side handle for pulling focus, and i love it. I will probably go with the kondor blue when i get my second camera. I have been considering the mirage for a matte box so it is good to see some more info on that. Tilta also makes some other great items for gimbal rigs that i have been looking at.

I will have an in-depth video in the Tilta Mirage Matte Box soon. At 20 minutes, I felt, I was pushing the limits with this one already. And yes, between Tilta, Smallrig, Nitze, Niceyrig and DJI, there's some real neat stuff out there.

It DOES NOT TAKE basic MANFROTTO!! Its a really strange plate! We are throwing the plate away! And maybe even return the rig. Its a strange use!

I've had no issues with genuine Manfrotto 501PL sliding plates on this shoulder rig. And they are sort of the basic ones.
