Thank you for this! If you don't mind, could you pls share which building/room letter this is? I'm going into Rieber Terrace single pods and have no idea what view I'll be getting so it'd be helpful 🥹
@@clarajimenez5455 Omg sorry I didn't get a notification for your comment so just seeing this. No, unfortunately I don't personally know of anyone in the single pods trying to move (or in Rieber Terrace, in general). However, I have been hearing that a bunch of ppl aren't vibing with their roommates so I'm sure there'll be some decent swap opportunities. Good luck :')
Hey! UCLA does not provide refrigerators to dorms. But I believe there are microfridges (microwave+mini fridge) that can be ordered/rented once move in info is released. It is possible to live in a dorm without a mini fridge, but I use mine for storing fruit, leftovers, and coffee. -Lara
Thank you! And no, I have not encountered many problems with sharing the bathroom. If any of us had any issues, we made sure to communicate with each other.
Thank you so much for the video! I was wondering how competitive it was to get the single? I heard it’s really hard to get 🥺 did you have a really early RSU time?
You’re welcome! From my experience and from what I’ve heard, people tend to get their top choices for room choice. Freshmen, however, are only allowed to live in triples. And I believe my RSU time was in the middle.
it's very competitive.. i'm a senior at ucla and have only heard of people getting singles when they have medical reasons or know someone that works in housing lol
Hello, sorry I have some doubts, I hope you can help me, how much does a single bedroom cost? Can you have alcoholic beverages in the refrigerator? Can your partner sleep with you
good luck in your college journey, you'll do great
thank you so much for this video! beep beep boop
You’re welcome Rawr xD
Funny and sweet! Best room
Tour yet!- about to be mom of a ucla student🤗thanks!

No problem! This video was filmed at Hedrick Summit, so it definitely doesn’t have the same view as RT. But from what I’ve heard, RT is a great spot!
@@LarasBungalow Ahh okay! Thank you :)

Hi Laura, should I buy a refrigerator? or is it given?
Thanks!

Thanks for your video! Very helpful! Just a quick question…do you guys have a problem with the bathroom since 5 girls are sharing it? Thanks

@@LarasBungalow it that like a suite in one room w 3 ppl?
There are actually 10 people in the suite. But we have 2 bathrooms. So 5 individuals share one bathroom.

Thank you for sharing. Is it possible to get a single dorm for freshman?? My daughter is just accepted by UCLA.
Hi! Congrats to your daughter! It is highly unlikely for a freshman to get a single. I believe freshmen typically get triples
if you have the money and know some people you can get your daughter whatever dorm she wants👍 good luck
My son is a transfer student. Any idea he will be easier to get a single dorm? Thank you
