Hello everyone! I trust you'll enjoy the latest video on infusing romance into your life and living space. It's heartening to see many in our community dedicating time and effort to beautify their homes, creating warm and inviting spaces. Let's all take a moment to value the little things, ensuring we always recognise the love and care embedded in our homes. Wishing you a lovely weekend, Suzie x
I got the fire tool set that you showed in the left picture (but with the wooden handles as they’re easier on my hands) and painted the handles black then hung them on the side of my new black firewood box so they blend in beautifully and are less obvious and only put 3/4 of them out. Being off the floor there’s less clutter to clean around. I also wanted a small bin in my lounge and one by the front door so I got two little faux copper pots and made a black faux leather lid for each. 😊
@@HappyHarryX5 Hi Fiona, that sounds fabulous! I’d love to see an image! Thanks for sharing your great tip for making the fireplace and tools blend seamlessly in your space. Suzie x
I love thrifting teapots and using them to water my plants! i also thrift cute small and transparent glass containers for water propagating, I have several growing stations; office wall (i tie them with a wire and hook them onto my wall) on my side tables, around my bar and on several floating shelves, all in different rooms
This channel never fails to amaze me. After decades of my being a designer, Susie Anderson Home has such fresh content, and I always get an inspiration from at least one idea. Rajiv Surendra channel is also enlightening and uplifting and I’m glad she mentioned him.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m really glad to hear that the explanations and teaching approach are helpful to you. It’s great to know that the videos are making a difference and providing you with insights. xx
Lovely ideas to incorporate, Suzie. Thank you 🥰 I could easily switch out a room or two with these examples shown! 😉 My breakfast bar is my most utilized space for my artwork 😄 but it works! My lounge in the garage, has changed, half being for my garden supplies, as is an Important part of my life. Too bad for such extreme weather changes, however! And living within an Association, I cannot have a garden shed/greenhouse, unfortunately! How cute it would be 💚🌱 If anything, it keeps the ideas flowing, on the what ifs!! 😊🤗
We have a music room too and love it! It’s less ‘romantic’ more under the umbrella or romanticising your home, by making time to actually enjoy the space and play music xx
I love this! I too believe in " romanticizing" my home.. infusing beauty and elegance into my everyday rituals as much as I can within my ability and budget. I too, watch Rajiv Surendra!
Thank you Melinda, yes there are many opportunities to romanticise our homes both in the small things and the big things. It sounds like you have some great ideas XX
This was a vlog I didn’t know I needed. Many thanks Suzie! What resonated most was swapping the plastics for much prettier treasures. I’m excited about it all really.
Thank you Kathy, yes when I heard that tip, I thought it made so much sense as it’s something many of us do daily so why not beautify that as if can make all the difference xx
I love love your channel. Im always wtaching your channel especially the ones without voice overs because i love the jazz in the background and i simply play your channels while i clean, cook etc the content along with music and pictures are amazing to play on the television.
What a great idea! We should do a few ambient videos per style...just showing gorgeous images with beautiful music to match! Thanks for the suggestions Tishina x Suzie
I found one does not need to spend a fortune to romanticise one’s home. Rajeev makes the most simple of tasks exciting. Loved this video post of yours.
I do love the romantic touch at home, as well as the attention to the details. For me, they both are a must have! Thanks for sharing this inspirational video! Happy weekend to you, too! 😉💜🍀🪻☕️📝🏡
I’m such a fan of this channel! So classy, inspiring and helpful. Love the narration - you have a beautiful & soothing voice. Will definitely be implementing some of these tips soon ❤❤.
Thank you so much! I’m glad you’re enjoying the channel and finding the tips helpful. Your kind words about the narration mean a lot to me-I’m so happy you find it soothing. Have fun implementing the ideas! xx
Inspirational content, beautifully delivered with a focus on a 'cozy nook', 'a treasured collection' which is attainable style for ordinary people enjoying their extraordinary homes. There is a gratitude experienced in the romantizing that resonates deeply. Thank you @susieandersonhome from a subscriber in 🇨🇮☘️
Wow, thank you! I am so glad the video resonated with you. In reality, most people are seeking a stylish home that is their true haven, created within their means. I think the most interesting and welcoming homes come from the owners own unique take, their own fossicked collections of pieces that truly resonate with their soul, and this doesn't have to come with a grand budget. Some of my most favoured items have been found, bought at second hand or auctions or gifted. Thanks for subscribing to our channel and being part of our community. Suzie x
I have cut flowers on the dining table and paintings under study in the studio area. Then there’s the living room where my husband has all the furniture pushed to one side planning where the 80+ inch tv is going. Oh well. At least he didn’t put a swing in our bedroom! Sorry, but that had me laughing out loud!
My design style result is Belgian. I downloaded the Belgian style design pdf file that is filled with useful information. And, I shared the design quiz with family members. Thank you! 😊 @@suzieandersonhome
Another amazing video. Well done. Interesting how you use the term "living energy" when referencing floral arrangements. What do you think it is about fresh green plants like the peace lily that elevate the energy in a bedroom versus fake plastic plants or no plants? Your thoughts Suzie?
I personally find for a low maintenance option or if you travel a lot but still want living energy throughout the home, I recommend pairing a long life greenery such as ruscus with a faux floral stems. Another idea if once the orchid has flowered, putting an orchid pick in the living plant until the real one grows back! What are your thoughts?
@@suzieandersonhome I find genuine natural green plants like sansevieria or peace lily energize my royal suite. Curious why you use the beautiful term “living energy” in reference to plants?
For peonies...get a bucket of water and put the heads of the flowers in the bucket let sit for 5 or ten minutes. You could run the cut flowers under running water either w a garden hose or sink.

I agree! It is so lovely to come home to after a long day at work xx
Beautiful and inspiring. I watch Rajiv Surendra too. Because of him I want vintage monogrammed bed linens. Thanks.
