Bro those unnecessary revs happen in Honda amaze 2016 too. Basically the car still holds the RPM for 2-3 seconds even though we've left the accelerator pedal. Don't know why did they do that.
Same in elevate too it destroys the whole driving experience
I think this is done so that the revs don't drop quickly when upshifting. An ECU tune might solve this problem. I have seen pov videos of Honda Civic Si in international markets, even that car has rev hang problem
Exactly even i drove this vehicle i thought my gear shifting as mismatching for clarification again i drove my breeza 1.5 petrol like i was driving the elevate later i got to know the particular model might has some issues.
This is known as rev-hang, and it exists in a lot of honda engines, not only in India, I saw a guy driving multiple honda cars in USA (civic, accord, etc.) all those engines have a lot of rev hang while shifting at higher rpms

The lower variants are really under equipped. Forget SV and V, but even the second top VX variant which cost around 16-17 lakh on road misses out on basics like Cruise Control and Rear Arm Rest. Ironically, it gets a stupid sunroof!!
Honda is still living in 2016 if they think these are premium features reserved only for the Top ZX variant.
Thats crazy, considering the 2014 city had cruise control from the sv model itself

Rubber band issues of cvt is a spoiler

I think honda spend most of its budget in ride and handling which is pretty good. Not much premium features though.

VW is one of the best , Honda is one of the worst in terms of NVH , same prob with Honda city
Taigun and Kushaq Creta seltos all do have low Nvh levels ELEVATE is worst among it

@@revlimits taigun and kushaq road noise insulation is the best but in the 1.0 tsi 3 cylinder noise comes a little bit during hard acceleration.

You really need to practice more driving manual cars. I can see the jerk you are getting due to disengaging the clutch while engine is still in rev.

This engine seems to be revved hard to get going, not practical with our road conditions. we need a peppier drivetrain!

first learn to handle a car.. Revving the engine in lower gears does not give you anything... its not a performance engine... should drive with correct rev on correct gears to get a smooth feel.. Be it any car

It offers exhilarating 89 kW (121 ps) power and 145 Nm torque" i was just checking out if these where true, these 121ps power would be produced from 1st gear onwards not just the top 6th gear , what i said in the Subtitles is just what i felt, no hard feelings if u r a honda fanboy 😀
