8:20 shifting from 1st to 2nd gear is a bit jerky because the engine's RPMs drop a bit slowly, so if you upshift above 3000 RPM, then you'll have to wait a bit for the RPMs to drop before you can release the clutch and smoothly engage 2nd gear, otherwise when you quickly change gears and release the clutch before the RPMs drop down to about 2100-2200 RPM, the gear gets engaged and the engine's RPMs drop way too quickly in that process, making the car jerk a little. This happens in the older BS4 2179 cc mHawk Scorpio (120 bhp) as well.
If you want the 1st to 2nd gear transition to be smooth, you'll have to upshift at a lower RPM (around 2000), then you can quickly change gears without any jerks.
