For those new to my channel, I try and do as much auto mechanics on my cars as possible. I'm very obviously not a mechanic, I just have an interest in repairing and modifying cars, and track driving.
Currently, my Honda Civic Type R FN2 is my daily and show car. The plan is to buy another FN2 with the aim of getting my racing license and turning this FN2 in to a dedicated amateur race car.
The FN2 race car will be stripped out with a roll cage, will have all the performance mods I can throw at it (like intake manifold, exhaust manifold, decat, cat-back, cams, oil pump, gearing changes, remap...) and an awesome body kit to round it off.

Nice video! All the gains come from the exhaust manifold. The RRC is performing better only after 7.500rpm (+5hp @ 8,8K). In the lower rpm loses more than 1 nm of torque and 10hp.. If you change now the intake with the old one the car will perform much better (Dyno and road). Tested many times!
Yeah after 7k there's a good gain. 19hp from 7.5 onwards. I may swap once I get an fn2 track car
Really? So why does everyone rave about the RRC then? Personally I like the lower at the top end of the rev range in a type R

Does it feel much different now with the RRC and Piper exhaust manifold on the car and the additional ECUTEK tweak to go with it? Something I'm debating myself whether to save for an RRC to go with the 4-2-1 manifold I bought. Mine was about 215bhp when mapped with intake/backbox, so similar to your first map you had done. Also does the RRC make the intake noise change tone?
Definitely feels quicker 👍 I would recommend the RRC. I reckon it makes a big difference to the overall power. I don't think it does much for noise, although it's hard to tell as my induction is pretty loud, and the exhaust just got louder, too. 😁
I have fn2 will be going to these guys they know about fn2 im from Birmingham so not far how much does stage 1 cost mate
Oh cool 👍 Yeah not far. I'm not sure about price mate. Best to go on the dynodaze website. I already had an Ecutek license on mine so was cheaper
