- Is your hvac unit ready for an upgrade? In this video I show how a company of one replaces a 4 ton heat pump split system as well as relocate the outdoor condensing unit to the side of the home. The existing heating and air conditioning unit had a faulty circuit board in the outdoor unit and a leaking indoor coil. This is how I replace a hvac split system. Hope you enjoy the video.

Just watched the video and felt compelled to comment I’ve been in the HVAC and Market refrigeration field for 15 years and I can honestly say I’ve never seen someone take such pride in this trade, your craftsmanship and attention to detail is something that really is something to admire. I just used this for a 403lb rheem gas pack. Worked like a charm over rough clumpy grass and pine straw. Even just making subtle shifts was easy. Excellent idea.

I like the excellent work you do and how you clean up work area as you go along; my only objection is the very loud volume of the music; I had to pull my headphones away to prevent ear damage; I'm 85 years old.
My favorite thing was after you connected the pipe on the return you took a few steps back to look at it. I tell every appreciate to do the same. The eye don’t lie. Nice clean solo install sir.
The work is very nice. All symmetrical and clean. I’ve never done this work before, but I can tell you do everything right with with a lot of details.
I know nothing about HVAC, but what I do know is that I see a really conscientious, meticulous young man doing a fantastic job installing that system. Very refreshing to see your natural skill and attention to detail. Having had some of the worst quality HVAC work done at my own home has lead me to look to real pros like you to restore my faith in the craft of HVAC. They should use your videos when training new HVAC techs. I don't think the average person realizes how many different skills are required to perform your craft.

Just started following you today and by the few videos I have watch so far your work is awesome! I have learned a few thing that I can do myself so I appreciate your videos!
Good clean install The only thing we have to do different down here is insulate the main drain line with each 1-1/8 x 1/2 tubing insulation through the P-Trap and over to the drain line connection or about 18 ft if it's in an attic but that's just our area South Texas. Also because of the type of soil we have down here after we level the ground take a dry sack of kwikset concrete down on the ground before your pad on top, You don't have to water it in the moisture in the ground soaks up into the concrete this keeps it stable over time in our area the condenser happens to sink on side or the other making the condensing unit crooked this process fixes the tilted condenser. I learned that from a guy who sets giant water tanks. Excellent job like all those toys you have.

Amazing craftsmanship. Linesets looked incredible. As others have pointed out though, Goodman outdoor units have a filter drier installed from factory inside the condensing unit , so the drier at the indoor unit was not necessary. I don’t see it causing any problems when running , but that’s still not advised to have two on a single circuit .
All I can say is ,WOW! That's a nice professional looking install! I'm currently taking bids from hvac contractors to do an install in my home. You, sir, have made this task harder for me as the two that I've received so far .Their photos of their past installs look nothing like this! I feel now that I'm going to have to go with the second best. Lol! You're an asset to your trade, sir! Great job! 👍

Impressive craftsmanship! Just came across your channel, great videos. I got my license about 4 years ago. Out here in Arizona, about 80% of split system applications the air handler/furnace coil set ups are in the attic so I had to hire full time help lol

I'm not an HVAC tech. But as a consumer that install looks extremely clean. Everything's neat and tidy You don't have wires hanging all over the place or extra copper lines dangling in places.
