I am also seeing Lonesome Dove everywhere! I think I'm going to have to pick it up too. Also, you will get Helene's POV if you continue the series. Happy reading!

Oh that is really exciting! It makes me want to push through some stuff I’m reading now so i can get back to the Ember In The Ashes series. Thank you so much for letting me know ❤

I love A Gentleman in Moscow! You should definitely read Rules of Civility before Towles newest one. Boys in the Boat is also a great one! Lonesome Dove is a western with great characters! I want to read FairyTale also, but maybe for next year’s challenge. 7 1/2 deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle is a very unusual mystery book. Not what you might think, but I loved it! The Hate You Give is absolutely phenomenal! You have some great books here!

I’m excited for Big Book Summer as well. That’s an interesting variety of books you picked out! I really enjoyed Priory of the Orange Tree and Name of the Wind.

Oh that sounds like a good challenge. I have been trying to get to Carion Comfort by Dan Simmonds... this might have me bumping it up on my reading pile lol

Hi! Your channel just popped up on my feed. I am participating in Sue Jackson’s summer reading project. I have started to read Lonesome Dove but am struggling. I can’t get past the snakes, blue pigs and unwashed cowboys! I will try to dive in this weekend I have subscribed!

@@CarolAttrux it took me about 400 pages to be invested enough into the story and the characters, but I ended up giving it 4.8 stars. I hope you end up liking it or decide it’s not for you so you’re not trudging your way through 960 pages 📖 Happy reading! 💜

You should read, Rules of Civility (Amor Towles), before Table for Two. A character from RoC is the main focus in half of, Table for Two. It sounds like you will have a great reading summer. I’m also participating in Big Book Summer as well as Historical fiction June. They work well together, any excuse to read Amor Towels. Glad I found your channel.
