There's something about you two, that in a world where everything feels like it has turned upside down ,you two continue to make your episodes with the same heart as ever. This morning the new episode popped up on my feed and it brought a smile to my face and a warm fuzzy feeling. Thank you
Hi Barbara, thank you so much for your message. It's feed back like yours that inspires more than anything. We are so thankful to have helped you today and we look forward to seeing you again in two weeks with our next Video Show featuring 'Walking the Dales' x x x x
Hello❤️I just started watching you❤️Old episodes so fun😊I just made my first mrs bakery bear. It was so wonderful that i made her over two days. I couldent stop a wery good pattern. And she is so cute. I think i need to sleep beside her to night, but my son said he got a better bed😂He played with her today and it was so funny to listen to. He told me. Mom your so good at knitting. She wants a hole familiy. 😁Love from Norway from a city called Arendal❤️
1Beautiful blanket! All your projects are so beautiful
My eyes literally grew a bit misty when I saw that you had uploaded a new podcast! It’s been a stressful few weeks (months?!?) here In California and I needed something funny, interesting and knitting related! You 2 are just what the Dr. ordered!
Yes, I am in Australia. Hope you are keeping safe, but I love these 2, so cute with knitting, food and travelling all in one show!
Thank you!
I just love how Kay’s mind works. This blue reminds me of bunnies, and this pink reminds me of bunnies’ noses and it’s joyous to use a pink crochet hook. 😊💖
I laughed out loud at Dan’s passport photo!
nice episode ! Kay your hair is so nice when you wear it like this. thanks for the recipe, and all the inspiration !
I just love the hints and tricks we learn from other knitters. I am always grateful for the knitting community and now the community is global. Thank you always for a lovely show . 🌻🌻🌻🧁I’m in my late 60’s and social distance as much as possible. I have some issues from osteoarthritis affecting my radial nerve in my left arm. This has cut into my knitting in a big way. I have decided to enhance my sock knitting skills Slowly very slowly Next time kiddos!
Yey for knitters weather. I used to knit many years ago then lace making and now cross stitch. Much happier with the cooler weather.Newforest in Hampshire. Enjoy your podcasts.
I always enjoy your podcast and appreciate seeing all the beautiful garments that you both create. I’ve finished my 2nd Alaska hat and really enjoyed the colorwork. The colors in Kay’s yarn in the Norwegian cowl is gorgeous ❣️😊❤️
I’d like to comment about using electronic devices with our knitting. I’ll be 80 in November and don’t have young eyes anymore. lol. I love the KnitCompanion app on my iPad. I can enlarge the pattern to enable my poor eyesight. The charts for a lace design are a blessing with a movable highlighter to keep my place. Multiple pattern which keeps my place on each page. I like Dan’s Panda counter but my KnitCompanion has 6 counters available to me for my pattern.
Okay I’ll get off my soapbox. 😊🧶🧶
I love my Knit Companion as well and for all the same reasons It’s wonderful for colour work as well
I literally spit out my coffee (sorry if that offends) when Dan said "way back to the 60's" when speaking of music charts.....holy cow, makes me feel ancient!!! Love your show and can't wait for more Walking The Dales.
The sweater is stunning, Dan, good for you for taking on that challenge. I feel the same way about patterns; don't read the whole pattern, just start knitting; live and learn.
Enjoy you two so much! Thanks for the time you put into your TH-cam episodes.
I found your channel fairly recently and immediately became a Patreon member. I feel like I know you both and your videos are so relaxing and enjoyable. I am about to learn how to make socks - I’m a bit intimidated but determined. My daughter lives in Yorkshire and I keep telling her about your walking the Dale’s series. They are moving to Burley in Wharfedale near Ilkley soon! ❤️🇨🇦
Lovely way to spend an afternoon. It's 6 pm here. Love all the yarns, Dan's hat, the cupcakes. Look forward to walking the Dales....take care. ❤
That was so fun!!!

Just want to say hi to you both. I LOVE watching you two. You two are so cute together!! You guys keep me laughing all the time. Keep up the good work . HUGS TO YOU BOTH!
Dan your color choices for the Norwegian cowl are stunning!
Hello. Nice to meet you. I think this is my 3rd watch. From Indiana in the US. Crochet and knit more crochet right now then Knit. Love the podcast. Thank you for sharing
Dan, your sweater is coming along very nicely. It's going to be beautiful when it is finished.
Kay, Dan's vest is really nice. Gray is such a color that can go with many other colors.
Dan, your colorwork in the Norwegian Cowl is really nice. What little colorwork I've done, I've not had good luck with it.
oooo!! the Cinderella and Strawberry yarns are really pretty. Now I wish I had gotten in on the sock KAL!!
I ought to check out the Patreon part of your channel. Sounds like there are some pretty nice perks there.
Mind blown on the heel flap tip to slip the first stitch knitwise. I'm about to start socks for my cousin so this is happening.
Love your crocheted shawl! It’s funny but I just made my very first crocheted shawl as well and I am not a crocheter. It is the “ This is me shawl” by Wilma Westenberg and I honestly think it looks knitted also ! It was so easy and so fast I was amazed!
Love Felici one ball is always enough and they wear so well..fab episode as always 😘
I really enjoy LettLopi yarn. It has a sort of prickly, silky feel. I hope you enjoy it as well, Dan.
I just love seeing the notification pop up for your latest episode! I love watching you two having such a good time! The fun and outtakes get me giggling! Your projects are amazing and I'm always learning something from you❣️😘❣️ Thank you both !🧶!
Love podcast. Knitting a mohair cardigan tonight. Sleeve island. Turning out beautiful.
I agree with Barbara K, you always have a positive energy, with love for each other and life. Carry on!
Drake is a Canadian Rap superstar. He is the ambassador for the Toronto Raptors. In Canada we can buy cream cheese in 2 forms - the spreadable kind like you used and in a brick. The spreadable kind isn’t recommended for baking or icing because it is more watery. The stuff in the brick (think a brick of butter) is used for cheesecakes and icing. I just finished baking these and can’t wait till they cool so I can ice and eat them!
Sigh, I’m always so sorry when the video is over. Love you so much🥰😍🤪
Autumn is such a pretty month but I'm in no rush as it means the advent of winter. In Toronto, Canada (home of Drake LOL) winter can mean temps of -20 celsius and bitter winds, for several months. Bring on summer! But it does give us a chance to wear our knits.
It's so wonderful to see you again! I'm also looking forward to the POP next Sunday (feel better soon Dan Jones 😊) !! When you were talking about your crochet blanket and turning it each row, I saw that technique on an episode from Arne and Carlos! I think it's brilliant and your gorgeous blanket has inspired me to crochet one as well ( along with your granny square tutorial😉) We're having very similar weather so it's feeling like Autumn here as well, except it's raining today but that's ok 😊 Thank you for sharing your projects and what else you've been doing, it's been brilliant to watch!! 😘 Take care ❤
Thanks for a great show. I thinks it is so funny that you guys are looking forward to Autumn/winter and I am looking forward to spring/summer. Kay I have just started a vest for my husband.
You have to try baked custard with rhubarb on top. The custard is like it is in a custard tart so firm with the soft rhubarb cooked in honey or orange juice melts in the mouth, lovely hot or cold.
I love a French Heel turn, have a very high instep. For me, working 2 extra pair of heel flap rows, then work decreases the first three rounds of the gusset before starting the every other round decreases.
Trial and error Dan!
Dan,
Your Norwegian Cowl looks so much like Pink Poinsettias with green leaves at Christmas . Love it. Sure would love to see it in a hat pattern.
OMG you’re Army now.....! 😅
When Kay said “I loved Duran Duran but I didn’t talk to my parents incessantly about them” Dan and I nearly died laughing. We feel your pain! 😂
My first passport photo I had done in a studio. They fixed the lightening, helped me with makeup, I wish I had that photo to frame. I looked like a model.
Dan is having FOFO - fear of finishing an object! I get it all the time. 😂
Great mug shot, Dan! I've never made a decent driver's license or passport photo.
Hi, I’m new to your channel. I’m from Philadelphia PA. I love your videos, you both are so entertaining. I love that Dan is a great knitter
Brooklyn Tweed patterns are very difficult to follow IMO. I’ve knit two of their patterns and had the same experience. Although they have many lovely patterns I now steer clear because I don’t want to deal with the cumbersome patterns. That said, you are doing a fabulous job on the pullover. Kudos!
I get sad when a project finishes also Dan :) Especially if I have really enjoyed the project and then I start to get nervous about what I am going to knit next. I’m the same with good books...
I just love your channel,I’ve sat the past couple of weeks and watched them from episode 1, you are such an lovely couple and very entertaining, are you putting the September shawl in your ravelry to purchase, I hope you make many many more episodes, xx
“Look to the panda!” That made my day 😆
I’m 50 and a huge BTS fan. I was suffering from terrible depression in 2017 and then I found BTS and listened to their message and I can honestly say I believe they saved my life. I know it’s a bit dramatic but it’s true. Bryony has exceptional taste lol ... oh and bias is JHope xx
I just made a batch of these cupcakes. Mine didn't rise as nicely as yours did ... maybe 2% milk was the culprit *shrug* ... but they taste wonderful!! Daughter said more strawberries inside would be awesome. LOL
I finished the Cascades sweater and the collar was too wide for my taste. I ended up doing a crochet trim around the opening decreasing and pulling the collar in.
Kay, I love your crocheted shawl. Is it made with your sock yarn scraps?
So hard to tell. And I have a few fingering scraps I’d like to make it with. But wondering if the F hook is the right size for fingering yarn?
It is scraps of fingering weight ! I think the stitch calls for a larger hook than normal as it’s a dense fabric. 3.7mm is working perfectly for me 💓
Kay, what size hook did you use for your blanket? Is this your pattern? I’ve seen it in progress, but don’t remember, and love how you finished it with the multi color rows! Dan, I’m am in awe of the sweater you are doing. You have certainly become an accomplished knitter, and the cowl is lovely as well! The stitches are so even. Thanks for another great podcast, you two.
Debra Essey I used a 3mm hook and it’s just basic granny squares joined using join as you go. I have done tutorials that are accessible by our podcast patrons 💖💖💖
Drake! You would know if you were Canadian, young or old, you can't escape Drake here 🙂
Where did you get the flowered boxes behind you?
Ikea 💕
OMG the fact you mentioned BTS made my day! I am a huge BTS fan! #army
Drake is a male Canadian Rapper. Also he was on a popular series called Degrassi I believe
I'm a huge fan of kpop but not the biggest fan of BTS. Dynamite took me a few listens to get into and then in the end it ended up being on repeat on my Spotify. Like I said it took a few listens for it to grow on me but I ended up being obsessed with it.
It is impossible to look good in a passport pic.
You’ve never heard of Drake? How is that possible. I think you know his songs but just don’t realize
