I haven't been able to knit the scarf, but I hope to. I love the idea of "charity" knitting throughout the year. What a sweet story. Thank you for sharing! ❤ Merry Christmas!
Hi Darcy, your sweater is perfect for winter, looks so snuggly and warm. I really love the long striped/variegated cowl, knitting in the round is my very favorite way to knit. Thanks for sharing and stay warm.
Hi Darcy, I’m having the best time knitting my songs of the season scarf! I’m really trying to keep up with each day, knowing that if I do, I’ll have a fun, new scarf to wear in January. Loving it! I always bake gingerbread cookies and sugar cookies at Christmas, among other things. I have sweet memories of baking with my mama and helping my grandmother but they didn’t do the cut out cookies that my family loves. My grandmother was famous for her pecan pie and we enjoy making that recipe….in fact, one of my sons usually makes it and brings to our Thanksgiving and Christmas get togethers. Enjoy your peaceful week!!!
So glad you’ll leave the Songs of the Season instructions up for awhile. I had good intentions and then…. Looking forward to the 2025 charity knitting. Count me in.
Hi, Darcy, I have just finished my Christmas gift knits - 4 National Parks hats. Now to finish my blanket for Warm Up America. Then I get to knit for me!
Thank you for such a lovely & calm podcast today, just perfect for the Holiday Season! Every year I bake Ohio State Buckeye cookies or candy (I'm not sure which they are😁!) I'm not from Ohio & have never even been there but my mother found this recipe in a Ladies' magazine in the 1960's or 70's and our family has been making them ever since.
