After building out my DIY Uhaul tiny house conversion for over a year and a half, we finally start adventuring. In episode 5 of the stealth camp series, we do a not so stealthy camp at Matagorda Beach!
#carcamping #tinyhome #stealthcamping
Looks like a hell of a lot more fun than sneaking around some dingy parking lot, LOL!
Van looks fantastic!
It's Jamaican thing , wash your chicken with water and vinegar or lime, it gets rid of that slimy feeling and BBQ sauce is not a seasoning. lol
I saw a later build as a toy hauler, and had to check out more of your videos.
Also maybe a bug screen on the back door, you could use one with magnets that hold together in the middle.
My brother has one so his dog can come and go and slit closes by it self.
Very envious. lol
I'm planning on building one in Mobay to live in and tour Jamaica.
I lived on the ocean ( in a regular house) & that salty air disintegrates everything! My ex bought a regular gas bbq & in 6 months most of it was rusted out. I never realized how the salty air can munch most things.. we lived & learned a lot. Wash off everything , underneath too, when you leave that area; I’m sure you probably know that ! Cool vid!
Now that I come to think of it... this is way better than the Spinters either modern or classic but no room at all.. but this this is more spacious and it does feel like living ..feeling in a studio .. cozy! Love for the fact you're just living simple and chilled!
Looks functional, utilizing all the square footage and done tasteful making it a livable home.
You are an artist in everything you are doing. You really have a future in editing, the choice of your music the view, and the topics are outstanding, you are doing a great job here. well done. You are highly skilled.
Very cool! So wonderful to see the van out in "nature" and using the deck to enjoy the beauty of the natural scenery.
The funniest part is the multimillion dollar homes right alongside you in the same location. An interesting juxtaposition of what life can truly be.
Amazing job on the van. I love the fact that you can go from place to place in little to no time.
I live by the beach in Florida now, but I miss being able to park on the beaches in Texas. I would love to have a truck like yours that I could go back and forth and not need to stay at a hotel.
Great job. Love the box truck conversion. But I am still baffled by how you don't get stuck in loose sand.
Yeah. I was wondering how he drove on the beach also.
As was i
This dudes got me so inspired 🎉🎉
Really no words necessary at all! Obvious bliss, wherever you park it. or whichever way you turn it!
Definitely one of the best builds I've seen. I wasn't sure about the sliding door until now, awesome
Great to see you in a regular setting enjoying life,as it should be wishing you all the best TB, excellent build ready to adapt to any setting!
That is so awesome man you really are living the best life and taking your home anywhere you want. Keep the videos coming can’t wait for the new location. Hopefully you can take it up somewhere in a more woodsy area.
Just gorgeous! Very inspiring. Sending the link to our mechanic who thinks we are crazy. 😂
Nicely done!
Great video!
Very inspirational.
I love the lighting on your porch, and the melted cheese for tortillas!
Cool build!
Perfect setting to a good lifestyle living in a truck. Man.. you got it bro
The TIDE AT NIGHT move your truck back, lol
Looked like a successful trip.
Luv it!
Great video your Dad Pat told me about it
I love that bug swatter
Joe
Fruits the beer....
Nice idea on this one!
Nice home! I would live in one like this! No more taxes or work!!!!!
I just bought my 99’ Uhaul rig today. It’s already converted, but I’m going yo teat it down as your space works so much better for what I need. I was going to get rid of the ramp till I saw your solution.
you should join my locals we'd love to see the rig and get some details!
I actually dig the blowing wind sounds - it’s like a Swedish art film from the seventies
The first half reminded me of those Japanese mini overlander box builds silent in the woods or by a lake in the rain videos. Have you seen them?
TABI-IE is one of them. Almost 900k mark. With only 132 videos.
That is what I was semi-emulating with this style of video! I love those.
Charcoal is the best way to cook food outdoors!
You discovered the best beach on the entire TX coast
You are over relaxed here, WOW making up for all other tence times and close calls, lol
Love this set-up….how about getting a dog….it would add to the fun.
I'm happy to get to see your glass door and deck. This is my first time seeing it. Did you just get that done? You command excellent workmanship...but you forgot the pineapples on your Shishk.
Have you tried that garlic salt on popcorn? It’s my favorite❤️🍿
Niiice👍🏿🔥, I'm inspired by this, what size truck you got? 🤔
I think they envied you, LOL
I would have been scared the truck would get stuck in the sand, seen it happen all the time in Daytona Beach 😂
Beautiful job my friend. IF we have the vehicle, how much approx for this one please? Approx ? $30K ? $50K I love what you've done here, ESPECIALLY all that Solar , Thats BadAss. Ive never heard of so much solar. That would be ideal out West, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada etc. Fishing trip Hunting trip or Just L.I.V.I.N. .... Lol God Bless you. STAY Safe Stay Healthy Positive and Blessed.

I wonder what people thought about a whited-out stealth box van and... grilling. Had to pique some curiosity!
Silly gringos
Turned a lot of heads for sure
Very cool, and stealthy. Is your van AWD or 4x4... ever been stuck in it?
Ahh, that's better!
A little bit... Still lost half the audio because I deleted my source files as soon as I was done rendering...never again!
@@TheTechnoBarbarian That is a bummer. Murphy's Law in action! I see you did the drone thing, but thanks for opting out of the cheesy royalty free pop music. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the build, and maybe someday your camera setup. I understand why you skipped that part though. I'm starting my conversion in a month, and that's going to be a feature I'll want in there for sure.
@@xares420 Camera vid coming soon. My camera setup keeps evolving which is why I havent done a vid on it yet. I'm up to 9 cameras on the truck...
@@TheTechnoBarbarian Oh wow, that's what I like to hear! I figured it was kin to doing a video about a custom cabinet for a safe- gotta keep some things for yourself after all. Did you get sand up in any of the floor vent holes? That wasn't something I thought about until this.
9:42 😄😂
You should have corn or tortilla chips at all times
Look at chad taking a break from slaying
😆
Wow you drove on the beach without 4x4?
Thank god High Tide Conditions Didn't Wash You Out Plus Im Curious To Wait To See If You Drove Out Of That Sand Can Be A Pain In The Ass To Drive Through Getting Stuck Can Be A Bad Thing So Do You Have A Possi Rear Diff Under That Sweet Machine You Call Your Home On The Road.
I'd be so scared to take that thing out on the sand
I just watched your tour of your clients box. I'm new here. Looked at your other videos and saw this one. You are super cute. You remind me of Jorge Lorenzo. Follow MotoGP at all? @Techno Barbarian, where are you based out of? I have a 3500 long bed Ram, his name is BIG RED. I will be putting a backpack on him from Ovrland out of Flagstaff, AZ. Would you ever consider sorting out something like that for someone like me? I'm in Ventura. Cheers darling.
I think I would have an electric bike or scooter for quick trips to the grocery store, etc. Otherwise, you have to pack up everything and get it secured, each time you have to go somewhere. Seems like that would be a pain.
What do you do for work?
I'm a cyber security professional
Fill a drink bottle full of water to store timber scuwers to stop them burning
Looks like tide coming in and truck will get stuck in sand
be nice when I get my step van done :(
That'd be an interesting build!
We need content ma man
Great set-up ! I'm hoping you rinse/clean the chicken with water 😉
Where you been?!
Working hard! New video soon...
I opened my TH-cam app and did a hard double take. You are thirst trapping with this thumbnail. Good lordy!
I know its a nice truck huh??
@@TheTechnoBarbarian One of the most gorgeous trucks I've ever seen. I dream about having it.
Man how you keep that body eating all that everyday.
Stealth camping is great if you need to work in the same city and you don't want to rent an over priced apartment. But if you can work remotely, there really is no sense in stealth camping. Stay away from the city and go work anywhere you want.
That was a Great Kakob KETO Meal You Fixed. What Brand Of Sunscreen Do You Use? always, Tommy🤠
No bottles on the beach. Separate fine for every bottle you are caught with on a Texas beach.
I hate to say it, but a box truck on a beach is not very stealthy. Think about it.
It is a beach
No one is trying to be stealthy there. I'm sorry but was that a joke
