Arran has to be the best value for money whisky out there. I doubt if it will last. The price will head skywards soon. I really like the branding...classy, modern, clean and elegant.And the important info is clear and distinct.
I remember watching Ralphy do a tour of The Arran Distillery. Looked like a BEAUTIFUL spot! One day I'll get there. I love the 10. Will hunt for this one & also the Bodega. Cheers, Alan! :)
Have about 50 different malts, and loving them. Was recommended to get the Arran 10 year old and was in love after the first zip. This week bought all different Arran’s I can get in Holland. Wil be delivered this week, really looking forward to this. Love the video’s. Keep up the good work. 👍
Enjoyed this one - bit more complex then the standard 10. Tropical fruit was the main flavour impression for me. I found it took a good bit of water - bringing it down to around 45% ABV was the sweetspot for my palate.
On my second bottle of this. Great fruity dram that goes down to easy for it's avb making this another dangerous dram :-) Their Sherry cask bodega is a companion bottle to this for me, both are a great value. Cheers Alan
I surprisingly wasn't too found of the Bothy, when I reviewed it - surprisingly because my beef with Arran has been that they have been to light and the cask strength really should have fixed some of that. However I must say I have really been coming around to Arran lately. Some of their newer releases I have tried have been very very good. Cheers Alan :)
@@thewhiskyfriend Totally agree. Bothy is amazing, especially for NAS. Last week our group stacked the 1st batch up against awesome Benromach 10 YO 100 Proof, and it did very well. It could hold a candle to 100 Proof with it’s own taste profile and different character. Cheers!

I like the new bottles, loving most of the Arran range, I would prefer a tighter fitting cork though ;)

Do you notice much variation? I only see batch 3, one of my favorite CS bottles.
