    Really good and detailed video.
    Just want to add one thing.
    I think the pro of Public Insurance which was The cost is dependent in Income can become actually a con specially when you retire and if the person has big income for ex from Rental Income then at that point of time Private is really good.
    So happy to watch this detailed video

      Hi Abhishek, your videos are also good! thanks to Vanakkam and you for producing great videos. One question: why would private insurance be better for retired people when you have other sources of income such as rental income?

      Kindly include the pflege Versicherung while summing it, because that’s also a part of whole health insurance

    Hello, great video! Very informative.
    I have a question tough: when switching to private, as a relatively young & healthy person, the total amount for the health insurance drops quiet a lot but from some online brutto-netto calculators I see that at the same time the Lohnsteuer is way greater for privately insured people. All in all my netto would increase a little, but not that much, to be honest.
    1) Why a greater Lohnsteuer? Is this correct?
    2) If the above is true, will this greater Lohnsteuer amount be "refundable" (at least partially) when doing the tax return?
    Thanks!

      Thank you for the comment and Your understanding is completely correct ✅
      When you save some money, obviously this would lead to taxes and that’s y you see a difference in income, moreover the no claim bonus which you receive at end of year is also taxable.

      @@VanakkamGermany So, when I submit my tax return I cannot expect any refund? Does this mean that the Lohnsteuer is expected to be greater compared to the one with public health insurance?
      Does this mean that the lohnsteuer is calculated on the amount that comes out from Brutto - Reteriment Contribution - Krankenkasse?

    So I think private health insurance is better, but I have pre-existing conditions?

    • @VanakkamGermany
      @VanakkamGermany  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Depends on your state, premiums will be increased with preexisting conditions ( but it will be insured provided you inform while signing the contract)

    Hi, We are a family of 4. Couple with 2 kids. I am in my 40s and the only earner. My salary is 80k. Which insurance should i go for?. Private or Public considering, the facts that i want to save some money and would like to pay less premium. Also, will the type of insurance affect my income tax return every year?. Please advise. Thankyou.

      I would recommend strictly to stay with public insurance (according to your scenario, because you are the only bread earner)

    Hello
    How come you are promoting the private insurance but your wife hold public insurance?
    Is this some like of marketing where u work for?

    • @VanakkamGermany
      @VanakkamGermany  ปีที่แล้ว

      As i Said private is not beneficial for everyone. In my case I am the only earner and we are a family of 4, this is not economical. I don’t recommend anyone to go private in such scenarios. If both the persons are working then it makes sense. I give this reply to people who plan to shift private

    How is the situation after retirement? Do people from public insurance pay only half of the insurance premium after retirement , the rest being paid by the Krakenkasse? Does this also apply for private insurance?

    • @VanakkamGermany
      @VanakkamGermany  ปีที่แล้ว

      Insured persons who have taken out a 'contribution relief tariff' (Beitragsentlastungstarif ) for old-age provision pay a lower contribution from the age agreed in the conditions.
