That dual cable is for bringing in solar in parallel. If U look in settings there is an individual or parallel setting. Individual is for two arays in series coming in separately. The parallel setting is for one aray coming in parallel. If that makes and sense. It’s actually in the manual, I think. That cable works when U change the setting to parallel on the touch screen. Hope that helps. Don’t throw that cable away.
Why don't you post links that are purchased directly from their site and go to other sites instead? I purchased from their site using a 5% discount code for only $1519 and currently no taxes, you should let more people know about it?
Nice review :) NOTE: That cable (with the 2 XT-60's on it) is for having a 1 large solar panel array up to 2,400 watts = 150v @ 40a input. (instead of having 20a on each port) *it makes the MPPT controllers work as a team rather than independent ones. this info is located on page 8 of the owner's manual.... There is a simple option in the setting that allows you to either runs those ports separate or in parallel config. **you have to set that option "BEFORE" you plug in and use that cable. ;) P.S. We own every power station that pecron sells and have thousands of hours of testing and reviews on them.
I purchased the E3600 at their introductory price but before it was delivered they had a promotion that was cheaper than my purchase price. I sent an email to their support team and they got back to me a few days later and offed to refund me $200. I'd say that's top notch support in my books.
Taking advantage of the Black Friday sale ordered (1) e3600lfp, (2) ep3000-48v, plus their new ev300 portable solar panel for $3,491.15 total. Racked it on a Harbor Freight $13 dolly that looks like it was made for it. So now I have a 12x18" 9kWh. power rack on wheels. So far a very happy purchaser!
Huh. I had no problem receiving support for my little E600 a few months ago. I posted a question through their website, got a prompt reply with troubleshooting which got me back up and running, and even personable, cheerful response when I related a 1-week follow up verifying I was back in operation.
I bought it. It works great and I'm old, on the verge of Diabetes, take 4 Oxys a day and I STILL figured it out easily. But yeah, I bought the wheeled cart. Am using it mainly for off grid camping so I don't scare off Bigfoot running my gas generator. ...Got a two thumbs up from Bigfoot !
As a retired diabetic, if your content is aimed at me, how about testing small refrigerators and how long they last on various power units? You know for storing insulin in power outages. Btw, buy a USB chargeable headset lamp, for when your hands are full. They shine light where you are looking.
I feel for you. I suggest you use a larger refrigerator with a freezer but the most efficient one you can find. Freeze water bottles in the freezer and transfer the frozen water into the refrigerator side when there is a lasting power outage. Think of the ice as stored power. You could get a few days just off the ice before you ever had to use the power station. My sister was diabetic.

I’ve had great support from Pecron. I have a question for you: can the 30A dc out from the 3600 be paralleled with the 30A dc out from the expansion battery to make a 60A dc to run the dc side of a small 5th wheel?
What sold me on the Pecron e3600LFP unit vs the Delta Pro besides price was the wireless charging capability for 2 phones on top of the unit that no one mentions, plus it's 20 pounds lighter so I can move it to my RV when camping with the foldable 200w panels. I prefer the aesthetics of the Delta Pro and the overall design, but the pricing with similar power capabilities and a couple of extra features including a very functional app was the deal maker for me, not to mention that Shop Solar stands behind the unit if I have a issue and don't have to deal with Pecron directly.
I was considering buying this unit when I learned an expensive lesson about Pecron. Sadly my e1500 suffered a hardware failure less than a year after purchasing it. Then I found out after 90 days you have to pay to ship your unit to Pecron for service - over $100 in my case! I had a similar hardware issue with an Oupes product and they shipped everything for free. I am disappointed in Pecron's policy.
I bought one of these for my overlanding rigg. It is not much bigger than my Bluetti AC180 and fit in the same space but with 3 times the battery bank. I am still waiting for the expansion battery. It does not support bluetooth but will hook to wifi which I think is a miss. With the Pecron 500 dc charger I am always topped off.
My experience with Pecron customer support has been great! I purchased through Amazon and mentioned my issue in the Facebook group. Pecron FB Admin reached out to me and told me who to email, long story short, I got the part I needed and got the generator fixed. I live in the Caribbean, so returning it would have been a challenge. Thumbs up to Pecron!
@usacitadel7375 I didn't go through Amazon. Inverter crashed, could have been negligence on our part, hard to say, but Pecron support was very helpful all the way. Got a response via Facebook group.
I made the mistake of buying from Pecron directly and I agree with what you're saying about Pecron support. Trying to get a replacement/refund during the 30-day "satisfaction guarantee" is like pulling teeth. God help anyone who needs warranty service.
I was very satisfied with the after-sales experience before. You can try to provide videos or pictures in the email, and the problem can be solved quickly. It seems that all power station companies need to provide pictures or videos.
As a regular customer and not an influencer, their lack of customer support is a deal breaker for me. They expect you to pay for shipping if returning the product. Unlike ecoflow I sent 3 3 year old delta max 2000's and they paid for shipping to and from and gave me a river pro expansion battery for my river pro for the inconvenience of having to send 3 units back. Their customer service may be wonky but one thing for sure EcoFlow stands behind their product. Being a regular customer I don't trust them to send me a working unit like most tubers receive.
wow that's interesting to hear, for sure. i thought ecoflow was just another chinese knockoff brand but then people kept mentioning it. and good customer service is a HUGE deal for a lot of us. it's not about "yeah it works great!" the first time you use it, it's does it fail soon after and is there service.
Did I see that right? It's consuming 25 watts of power from the grid after it is fully charged? That seems like an excessive amount of waste. How does ecoflow compare in this situation?
Is there such a thing as a device like this that has an AC offload rather than a cutout when going above the inverter spec? Unless I am mistaken I believe most hybrid inverters do this? What I would really like is for a device like this to be useful for power cuts, but also be used to power my house in an intelligent way. I use less than 3.6kw most of the time, but occasionally I do and so I would like 3.6kw to be used from this device, and the rest from my grid tie. Am I asking for something that is ridiculous?
Hello, after hurricane Milton, I have been looking at solar generator. I'm considering purchasing a qty of 2 Pecron E3600LFP & 8 Pecron EP3000. Can this configuration hook up to a transfer switch to my home breaker box?
That's what I'm planning to do. I saw someone's setup on Reddit/Amazon (posted both places) with the E3600LFP plugged into a 30A outlet connected to Mains and feeding a 6 circuit manual transfer switch, effectively running it as an UPS for those 6 circuits. One item to note about buying a pair... When using the 240v connector, it disables the UPS capability. I didn't realize that when I bought them so I've got to rework my plans a little. I'm only going to support some 120v circuits for now on the manual transfer switch but I'll be able to switch over to 240v manually if needed when I put in a 50A transfer inlet w/ interlock.
I bought a powerstation from them I had a horrible experience with their support, thete is no live person, i had to wait a couple of days for answers it took almost a month to get a replacement. I was also confused on how much power i was actually getting. They need to be more specific on their website about how many watts the unit itself uses to run and how much real WH you get. Its cheap yes but Its a headache at least it was for me
I was on shop solar yesterday looking at getting 2 of the e3600's with the 240 adapter, but then I saw the Force 15K ess on their site. Have you guys tried out this unit or know anything about it? 8000 watts 120/240 with a 15kwh battery. Looks pretty good for the price.
Diabetic retiree is main reason to buy it. If you watch Ken Berry he says go carnivore. I plan to buy this to cook steaks at the park. Put it in a metal wagon, it now has better wheels than anker.
well my order was placed at the beginning of the month and i still have not received it. now its under blackfriday sale. percron get your #### together.!
Just clarifying that the Ecoflow you’re comparing too (sort of) is the Delta Pro, not the DP3, correct? If it’s the original DP then the Pecron is a little more expensive, so not seeing the value if that’s the case. Thoughts?
@@TheSolarLab You also forgot to say with two units and their adapter, you can get 220VAC split phase to run you house or that it has a 120VAC 30amp input charge cable for 1.3 hour charging.
idk what people mean when they say no support. i have been replied too every time i have messaged them. it is a clear time zone difference but they do reply and get back to me. my questions just might be not very complicated
Like someone already noted, lack of support is a big negative. If you have a great product, why hid in a closet. I realize the lower price is good, but consumers deserve and expect support when needed. Yes, a light , two wheels, and a handle are a necessity.
Thats not BS, its actually the foundation of why we even started this channel! Go watch some other videos... we say lots of products are garbage LOL. We dont care if they send us products, or if we have to go get them ourselves. We just want to be HONEST since thats clearly something missing from this space!
DON'T THROW THAT PARALLEL CABLE AWAY as suggested by this reviewer!!! I'm sure this subject has been addressed already, but I don't want to read all the comments. It can be used for single charging like a normal cable with panels in series, but if you have panels in Parallel with higher amperage you can change the menu setting to Parallel and it will divide the amperage between the 2 inlets. At least that's what I understand it will do. Also want to say that these units can produce Coil Whine to different degrees in different units. I'm told it is normal, but can be annoying. I'm learning to live with mine because even if I go through the hassle of exchanging it I may just get another noisy one. Luck of the draw I guess!
@@criticalthinker6827 The real weight of the oupes mega 2 is 48 pounds, we own one for our channel :) *they have 2 different weights listed from owner's manual and website and amazon, but we have one here to weigh :)
They've been very helpful with me over email. They haven't ignored a single email. They're 13 hours ahead though. So I don't usually get an email back until the next day.
That's great that they got back to you! Given both of our experience, it's likely that their support is oversees. When people are spending thousands of dollars we like the ability for consumers to have North American based support & a phone number they can call.
Any one wana explain the random camera angles. Will be happy when this trend ends. Why am I seeing the side angle but your clearly still talking forward 🤦🏽♂️
@ says the guy commenting to the goof ball. Lollllllllll I don’t know whats dumber, your comment or the fact you went out of your way to say it hahahahahaha
This system has 2 power buttons (AC or DC act as power buttons to turn the system on or off) *The system does not allow you to turn off the screen when charging (But the rest of the system is off)
@@RamblinBobReviews Ah, thank you for that explanation. When I watched this part at 3:52, it made me think that there was no power button. Also, I think the way it was worded in the video, made it sound like it was still charging even after 100%, but now I am not sure if that is actually the case. It might just be using that power for other features? (Not sure).
@@marcfruchtman9473 Yep, me also...I was like..wait a minute, we have the full 15,360wh system right here in front of me and we can 100% confirm that there are 2 power buttons...LOL P.S. Stop on over to our channel and join the scriber family, we love helping people with this stuff :) P.P.S. Yes, systems will still charge after the unit is 100% full (it is fully balancing the battery cells one by one)
Please review the Ampaura Purea 3 . I saw it on Facebook and it looks promising but with your expert opinion , it will help my decision on which powerstation to get next.
I think these lithium-based power items will get better: The tech just is not yet mature enough. Note the mobile revoiution: That market crashed--it couldn't then deliver. Well, it did succeed far better--later on. These current lithium-based power-stations are pretty cool now--nonetheless....
hey man, just as an aside............ your filming is GREAT and so are edits, but i dont get why you are doing the sideways, watching the side of your head as you talk, thing. :/ like it's kind of disorienting like who tf are you talking to? i don't get why any channels do this. it's like watching someone have an adhd moment and totally look away in the middle of a conversation. (you had a part by 3:50 where you also did that view from the side BUT then turned to look at us and that was cool) so i guess - please reconsider camerawork where you aren't LOOKING at the camera. i totally understand wanting to do jumpcuts and diff angles and that's cool. but like.... do them where you make eye contact with the camera so it doesn't break the line of communication. or do it where you are looking AT the product as you show something. just vaguely looking offscreen is like WTF? (sorry, i'm in the field and this drives me nuts because there's no 'sense' behind it. i think it's something people saw someone do and now it's mimicked around the YT space but it confers no benefit. UNLESS eye contact is made from the diff angle OR you are looking at someone that's on with you, or at the object you are discussing/displaying) ...thank you for coming to my ted talk. : )
I have 2 of the lfp 2000s but with the black corner bumpers. They should just make all of them black. The orange bumpers are ugly. But over a year with them and they are damn solid sogens. I own ecoflows as well. And yes the customer service is bad. I had the charging brick for the lfp 600 go out on me and they after contacting them multiple times by email they just stop responding. This is at your own risk buy.
Funny as one of the dislikes he doesn't mention that it doesn't have an app at all to control from your phone instead from it's own screen. Just saying.
Did you bother to watch the video???? If you did you would have seen near the beginning of the video him briefly talk about the App and it being one of the best he has seen. NYC Sigh
@thesolarlab why don’t you guys learn howto the math right? If you have a 3000wh battery and you run a 3300w load it should last for 54.5min NOT 56min but yeah close enough lol, BTW the very very simple way todo this math is to use mW .. for example 3000wh battery (x) by 60min = 180,000mW / 3300w load = 54.5min at 100% efficiency, truly very basic way todo the math from wH to mW to 100% efficiency run time base on any load, anyways i find it basic 😅, still base on your test its 91% efficient.
Also Bitcoin came out in 2009, all coding from start to release only took 10 months, so it would be hard to mine bitcoin in 2006 lmao 🤣, but that would have been cool.
Sorry but their customer support is fine. I have 5 of their power stations 2 expandable bats and 4 portable panels. Never had any problems with customer support. I have had my issues resolved and questions answered. A light so you would pay twice the price for a 5 dollar light? Yet you rant about anker who has 60 volt max on solar input. Thus the user is forced to buy their extremely over priced panels? Some how thats a great deal? Pathetic!

Its cheap yes but Its a headache at least it was for me
I’d like to purchase it directly on the website.
I got help through their Amazon store.
Probably, combiner cable is not a splitter
I was on shop solar yesterday looking at getting 2 of the e3600's with the 240 adapter, but then I saw the Force 15K ess on their site. Have you guys tried out this unit or know anything about it? 8000 watts 120/240 with a 15kwh battery. Looks pretty good for the price.
Diabetic retiree is main reason to buy it. If you watch Ken Berry he says go carnivore. I plan to buy this to cook steaks at the park. Put it in a metal wagon, it now has better wheels than anker.
Got the sonic 2,200wh for a cool 600usd
I have no intention of buying these but I find this stuff so interesting. Neat stuff
So you're a tire kicker? Everyone hates you
There is a separate trolley that can be purchased for mobility
well my order was placed at the beginning of the month and i still have not received it. now its under blackfriday sale. percron get your #### together.!
Cancel your order and reorder
Just clarifying that the Ecoflow you’re comparing too (sort of) is the Delta Pro, not the DP3, correct? If it’s the original DP then the Pecron is a little more expensive, so not seeing the value if that’s the case. Thoughts?
ugh, wish this was out yesterday, ordered last night straight off website
It's still a great product in our opinion!
Can you review vdl hs2400
Pecron website says expandable to ONLY 15.36 KWh??
Each main unit, but you can connect 2 units together to double the output & capacity!
@Thesolarlab Hey, I love watching your video with my son but, lately you've been using a lot of foul language. Is it really necessary?
Yes
Well it's NOT necessary, but it's his channel and he uses profanity from time to time.
you should do your own captioning, it's getting pricing wrong
Οscal is even cheaper , similar capacity inverter, expandable up to 57600 Wh. Check it out.
no SUPPORT? no buy. thanks, i subbed. which ones have phone support if any? eco flo sucks
stop saying that bs line “our opinion can’t be bought” If you savage a product they won’t send you more.😊
Thats not BS, its actually the foundation of why we even started this channel! Go watch some other videos... we say lots of products are garbage LOL. We dont care if they send us products, or if we have to go get them ourselves. We just want to be HONEST since thats clearly something missing from this space!
And note the affiliate link. Scam
@stevemorris3710 not a scam, but not a review either. The Internet is shit

I had that problem with mine and sent mine in for a new unit and still haven’t gotten it back yet …nearly 2 weeks now.
@@markhunt6573Do you know if your unit was shipped to China or the USA for repair?Makes a huge difference in time.
@ it went to California. They sent me a new one to wrong address in different state so now there trying to figure out what to do.
I bought Oupes, great support and mega2 is only 51 lbs.
From our experience, Oupes is a great brand too!
Saw your comment and went to look at Oupes. Their website says the mega2 only weighs 45 lbs. Which is correct? Thanks for any info!
@@criticalthinker6827 The real weight of the oupes mega 2 is 48 pounds, we own one for our channel :)
*they have 2 different weights listed from owner's manual and website and amazon, but we have one here to weigh :)
Been waiting for this one
y tho? looks like more cnz trash

Can't find the E33600 on their 🇨🇦 site🤔
Please, answer more to comments.

Any one wana explain the random camera angles. Will be happy when this trend ends. Why am I seeing the side angle but your clearly still talking forward 🤦🏽♂️
It makes about as much sense as some goof ball commenting about strange camera angles. get a life..
@ says the guy commenting to the goof ball. Lollllllllll I don’t know whats dumber, your comment or the fact you went out of your way to say it hahahahahaha
Thank you for the video.
I don't understand the lack of a power button??? Why? No support? Why would I spend that much money with no support?
This system has 2 power buttons (AC or DC act as power buttons to turn the system on or off)
*The system does not allow you to turn off the screen when charging
(But the rest of the system is off)
@@RamblinBobReviews Ah, thank you for that explanation. When I watched this part at 3:52, it made me think that there was no power button. Also, I think the way it was worded in the video, made it sound like it was still charging even after 100%, but now I am not sure if that is actually the case. It might just be using that power for other features? (Not sure).
@@marcfruchtman9473 Yep, me also...I was like..wait a minute, we have the full 15,360wh system right here in front of me and we can 100% confirm that there are 2 power buttons...LOL
P.S. Stop on over to our channel and join the scriber family, we love helping people with this stuff :)
P.P.S. Yes, systems will still charge after the unit is 100% full (it is fully balancing the battery cells one by one)
I dont want to stay charged, i want to stay committed! Have you officially abandoned your car YT channels?
Please review the Ampaura Purea 3 . I saw it on Facebook and it looks promising but with your expert opinion , it will help my decision on which powerstation to get next.
I think these lithium-based power items will get better: The tech just is not yet mature enough.
Note the mobile revoiution: That market crashed--it couldn't then deliver. Well, it did succeed far better--later on.
These current lithium-based power-stations are pretty cool now--nonetheless....
If I had a buck for every power station brand with a vaguely phallic name I'd have $3. Which isn't much, but something's going on...
It could very well be the way you think. I hope you don't know anyone named Dick that has a cat.
Yeah, latent homo tendencies....
Ugly? Not as ugly as that 80s Hockey mullet?
LOL cheer up😂
Hey no more car channel ?
Car videos will return, hopefully shortly! I’ll explain everything when I get back👊🏼
and people question why LLC means Loosing Loyal Customers.!
How tight were those customers that they needed to be loosened?
Only $900 per add on battery 😅
On sale. Not their normal price.
Great information, one thing though, lay off the "diabetic retiree" rhetoric...
hey man, just as an aside............ your filming is GREAT and so are edits, but i dont get why you are doing the sideways, watching the side of your head as you talk, thing. :/ like it's kind of disorienting like who tf are you talking to? i don't get why any channels do this. it's like watching someone have an adhd moment and totally look away in the middle of a conversation. (you had a part by 3:50 where you also did that view from the side BUT then turned to look at us and that was cool)
so i guess - please reconsider camerawork where you aren't LOOKING at the camera.
i totally understand wanting to do jumpcuts and diff angles and that's cool. but like.... do them where you make eye contact with the camera so it doesn't break the line of communication. or do it where you are looking AT the product as you show something. just vaguely looking offscreen is like WTF?
(sorry, i'm in the field and this drives me nuts because there's no 'sense' behind it. i think it's something people saw someone do and now it's mimicked around the YT space but it confers no benefit. UNLESS eye contact is made from the diff angle OR you are looking at someone that's on with you, or at the object you are discussing/displaying)
...thank you for coming to my ted talk.
: )
I wouldn't take a Pecron even if you gave it to me!
What was your experience with them?
why? please elaborate.
I don’t appreciate your comments about “diabetic retirees”. Shame on you.
He's probably pre-diabetic or type 2 already!

I like the yellow/orange
No support?? It's so a disposable product like a $15 Walmart coffee maker!!
Strange, a guy like you always worries about how something looks.
No support… NEXT
They have support. Replied to me many times with
Funny as one of the dislikes he doesn't mention that it doesn't have an app at all to control from your phone instead from it's own screen. Just saying.
It has an app to control everything
Did you bother to watch the video???? If you did you would have seen near the beginning of the video him briefly talk about the App and it being one of the best he has seen. NYC Sigh
Head lamp or small flashlight in your mouth dude!
Pathetic!
you guys want to see my pecron?
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Ya but their APP is complete garbage
Never going to bother with power station since too many people have been injured by these when they caught on fire or explode!
Pecron 👎👎. Noisy fans, no support, no wheels…. Or extended Handle 😮
