They were great rains to be in service with West Midlands Railway. Well done West Midlands Railway class 323 for your hard work transporting people from 1994 until 2024. You were a great train. 1994 - 2024 Great video Louie good that you recorded the last West Midlands class 323.
Hate new train from Japan! B××××y hell these new orange trains create from Japan, not British. How purpose to be here like these new Japan orange trains... What the c+++ purpose! What's wrong with green centro train cease of final run is??
The Class 323's (The train you mentioned because of it being in the Centro livery) were being either transferred to Northern or going into Long-Term Storage because WMR had to save expenses on Leasing Costs. And they were slowly aging as well so they had to be replaced. But for me being a local commuter in the West Midlands riding these 323 units I'll surely be missing them. Their motors is what made it iconic. Especially around the West Midlands but now it's not going to be like that since they're all gone now. They have been running for a total of 30 years in the West Midlands since day 1 of introduction to the newly electrified Cross City line in 1994 replacing the old DMU's that used to run on the Cross City line before the 323's came into service.
12:50 for the Class 323 Railtour
3:27 That QSK19-R engines on the Voyagers sounded godly on departure.
One of the greatest trains ever. And what a way for it to say goodbye never seen a platform that packed. What A Train.
I was on the farewell tour. A Wonderful but sad day for the West Midlands Class 323
