This video announces new self-installing Universal Android 10 firmware for the LEMFO LEM14 smartwatch (which is also available for the LEMFO LEM12 PRO and the Kospet PRIME 2). Other Android 10 watches are expected to be supported, and you can use this LEM14 based video as a template for following the same procedures for other watches.
HERE'S THE MISSING STEP: Arrrgh! OK, after you connect your watch to your computer, go to SETTINGS, Connected Devices, and USB. Touch "File Transfer" and exit back to watch face with the upper left arrow or back button. NOW it will connect. Sorry for forgetting that. You only need to do it once, and that was so long ago, I forgot about it!

The featured apps "Display Brightness" and "Floating Toucher" described in this video are not available in the Google Play Store anymore. An archive copy of each is in the Smartwatch Resource Center (link below). When installing a new firmware, they suggest to do a factory reset to ensure that no remaining stuff corrupt the new firmware. Do you have a backup app suggestion that can keep the setting of the currently installed apps? (i.e. configuration of floating toucher, account info, etc)

Acquired a Lemfo Lem15 on AliExpress was doing great, during developer option I accidentally clicked and crashed the screen changing the screen resolution to 4k mode. Now the screen no longer responds. Stopped working.

I'm new to this particular firmware upgrade. I've just received my new LEM 14 in late March 2022 (shipping delays) and had decided to flash the FAW firmware to it. After two days of attempts, I realized that I was attempting to flash the wrong firmware and the firmware I was looking for wasn't even available anymore on the Google drive. Can the Huawei gt3 pro or the huawei watch fit 2 run on other firmwares? Maybe enable blood pressure feature?

That's a great question. So that we can consolidate all these questions in the appropriate areas, can you pick the link for the watch you are asking about from the links in the first comment above and ask the folks that developed this software for an answer over at the Full Android Watches site? Hotspotting is something I haven't tested, so I don't know at this point, but I'm sure they do! Thanks.

No worries! One day they will probably have polished Android 10 firmware right out of the box, but we're in the early evolution phase right now.
Can we upgrade Kospet Prime watch to latest android?
I've installed the new version. The watch itself is working fine, but now it does not pair with the Wiiwatch app in my phone and my PC doesn't recognise the devise anymore so I can't copy files from the computer to the watch. Wich is a big problem because I use it to listen to music... Any sugestions?

Jens, I hope you're reading the other comments here, watching the video, and checking the Show Notes under this video where it's pointed out in countless places that this firmware applies to Android 10 based watches only. So Android 7 watches like the LEM12, the Rollme S08, the Rogbid Brave, The Zeblaze Thor 5, and all earlier versions of these last year flagship watches won't be able to take this new firmware, and there's no work being done to update the firmware for Android 7.1.1, 6. 5.1, 4.4, or earlier watches. Oh, and no, it's not possible to take an Android 7 based watch and bump it up to Android 10.
I have tryed 5 times to put this update on the kospet prime 2 it will not install it says error file format not supported. I talked to pabbllo11 and all I get is CRICKETS please show the install on the kospet prime 2. I am getting frustrated I used a laptop I downloaded it straight onto the watch all the time I get the android guy die and say error
Sorry, I can't get into the troubleshooting of flashing firmware. That's the whole gig for the FAW team. I'm the reviewer here, giving the overview, but tech support is a different department. From my experience it's usually something small I'm missing, like trying to install the ZIP file when using the computer method of installing, or using the unzipped folder for the self-installing method. Of course, you need to be using the firmware for the Prime 2 and not the one discussed in this example video for the LEM14. Best of luck with your learning experience.

I have one coming for review that will be about $65 or so as long as your little brother is old enough to take care of an Android watch. It'd 4G data communications, Android 9, uses nanoSIM and has internal microSD card for adding up to 32GB additional external memory. You can also look for an older watch like the LEMFO LEM4, probably around the same price point.

It makes me think: where could I find any similar method but to update smartwatches from Android 4 to above?
It took a year of COVID-19 lockup for Pablo11 and @none and the team to work this out for Android 10. I doubt anyone will be interested in putting out that kind of energy for lower levels of Android at this point. Would have been nice in 2018, but not really applicable in 2021. What a difference a few years makes.
I hope and soon it will also be available for Zeblaze Thor 6. It also needs an update because its firmware is very basic

I have tryed 4 times to install this firmware I go to local updates and hit file I do install I push the buttons like it said it it installed but then the android icon is laying down it says error and just goes back to previous firmware if I go back to downloads I click it it then says format not supported. I had the same problem on the KP2 but I deleted the old download , checked for the correct upgrade again it is confusing, repeated the process and it works superbly. Good luck 😃😃😃

Are there any improvement in battery performance with this update?
He|| yes! MAJOR improvements. Check the comments in the blog threads (where you go to download the flash firmware ZIP file) and you'll see. It was all that hosed up glitchy stuff messing things up that has now been stripped out. Lean, mean, and totally working for optimal battery life. FINALLY Android OS is a good OS for a watch.

Well, you're getting closer than the comment asking about the Rogbid Brave. You're talking about an Android 10 watch, and that's the first requirement. I'm going to stand by the same answer, as for the Rogbid Brave, however, because this is so new: "Each firmware file must be built around each and every Android 10 watch separately, so a completely new thread will be created at Full Android Watches for each Android 10 watch. That is, of course, unless and until the manufacturers decide to migrate over to the new Universal firmware and include it in the box shipped with new future A10 watches. That hasn't happened yet, and it's up to YOU guys raving about it and requesting it from your favorite Kospet or Lemfo or even Rogbid store. Please help out here if you can!!"
@@SWT I was impatient and installed the LEM14 update on the Rogbid Brave PRO and all is good so far. I use this with my primary SIM card. Calls, WiFi and GPS work so far. Product name has changed to LEM14, but I don't mind. Thanks FAW!
AWESOME mindshelfpro!! If you haven't done this already, PLEASE take time to post your results with flashing to the BRAVE PRO over on the LEM14 thread as well. I saw some comments about it working or not, but nobody had a BRAVE PRO that was willing to try. Can you also check if WiFi Hotspot works if you have a compatible SIM that supports Hotspot data you can use to try it out? We've had that question here as well. Thanks.
@@SWT I tested the hotspot with WiFi sharing only and that works. I am not in a position to test SIM data sharing with the hotspot at the moment, but I will post on the forum. Thanks.

No, nothing for THOR 6 yet. I'm not sure if Zeblaze is a participating manufacturer with the FAW community, so you'd need to ask the status over at www.fullandroidwatch.org If they're not participating, then there will be no work done on Android 10 re-imagining for Zeblaze watches. Sometimes a shoutout to the company from customers like you will encourage them to reflect on their bottom line and not be left behind in future developments.
I tried it on my Appllp Max and as expected it didn't work ~ but I guess it wasn't intended for that particular watch! At least it didn't brick it.

There are different versions for different models, so you'll have to check the source links in the notes under this video. I'm not sure if they have released the final firmware for general use yet, but I'm sure you can find out if you wander over there.
Update worked perfectly!! Apps that would not run previously or were not seen in Google Play store are now running and visible!

Sorry. You may be getting the self installing ZIP file style mixed up with the firmware that needs a PC to install it. Check the instructions at the FAW site very carefully.

Yea, that's why I went into detail with you in your other post. When in doubt, go to Settings on your watch, scroll down to About, and look for the Android version. If it's anything other than 10, this firmware won't work. That applies to ANY Android smartwatch, not just your LEM12. Thanks for asking as it helps clear this up for others wondering the same thing.

Each firmware is unique to each watch model so you need to check with the Full Android Watch team if they have a version that supports LEM T.

OMG So many!!! The highlights are listed in the thread where you download the firmware for the specific watch you are interested in, the PRIME 2, LEM12 PRO, or LEM14. Just remember you don't need to do that complex firmware installation anymore. Today's video works with the same feature set firmware repackaged into a self-installing ZIP file anybody can install.

I know nothing about that. Follow the links in the show notes to the source of the firmware for the watch model you want to know about and read their thread. IF you don't find an answer, register an account there and post your question. These are the guys that can help you.
CAUTION! After updating all works well EXCEPT if you put the device in Low Power Mode, there is no way to exit that mode. The screen says push and hold power button but no option exists to turn it off.
Sorry, after update I don't see low power mode when pressing the power button. Not sure how you're getting to that.
@@SWT I accesed low power mode in Settings. Once in that mode, the screen states to long press of power to leave the low power mode, but it is not there.
Aah yes, I see now. There's something about turning on or off some flashlight mode once the low power mode is activated, but that doesn't appear to work. No way to exit as you mentioned. I had to reboot to get out. Looks like a bug that needs squashing. Hope you're reporting it on their LEM14 thread. Thanks for the update about this.

NO! Not at all. First off, the Rogbid Brave is Android 7, not Android 10. Secondly, each firmware file must be built around each and every Android 10 watch separately, so a completely new thread will be created at Full Android Watches for each Android 10 watch. No problem. mindshelfpro also asked about the BRAVE PRO and has actually tried flashing it to his watch, so check elsewhere in these comments for his comment thread. Looking good so far, though the watch is rebranded as an LEM14 by the firmware (which is coded specifically for the LEM14).
