Beautiful car. I'm picking up my C8 (also black) at the museum in 2 weeks, can't wait. I'm still surprised at the overwhelming majority of C8 videos being coupes. Makes me wonder if I shouldn't have gotten the HTC lol. Congrats on the awesome ride.
Subscribed! My black ‘24 C8 1LT is 7 weeks old, about to cross 1500 miles so I can let it loose! Attack Blue filter waiting to go on already too! 1 tip for you already though, Corvette Forum members are reporting better times AFTER the high wing spoiler is removed. Try the standard Z51 spoiler, or even the low wing for better times & mph.
Yeah I may try that - catch 22 for when I make big power. I have/had multiple 1000+hp cars with wings and without etc, and they really help once the power is there. The GT500 folks all rumored that their cars were faster without the big Carbon wing - my cars never saw any difference. For these reasons, I started this channel - actually. Follow along! :)
Thanks Matt! People have been telling me I should be documenting what I do, for years and years. Finally decided to take their advice. Even if no one follows, I have a nice spot to keep it all. It's my journal. Lol😂
With a Z51 you get FIVE performance traction modes. Check them out. Learn to use the launch control. When launching the rpm is 3,500. If Not, you are NOT in launch control. I used to have trouble getting it to actually be in launch control and it launched around 1500 rpm. Big difference when done correctly. Must be in a performance mode. Set up the Z mode to be in the configuration you find gives you the best results with launch control. For me that's PTM 5 Race on the Z mode screen (last bar light) and the softest suspension setting. I have the Mag shocks. Allows for squat. I am 100 percent stock and getting 2.6 on a good day. Most of mine fall in the 2.9 to 3.0 range on public roads. I'm in Michigan at about 600 feet elevation. That said, not on a Draggy, just the cars computer. It may well be off a bit. Still I use it to see which technique is best. Now when I want to get a good launch I just hit the Z then it's ready with one button push. Looking forward to your next videos.
Glad to know. I have watched European testers and American Chevy haters complain about 0-60 in 5 seconds. So I listen to the rpms on the TH-cam videos and listen for the proper launch control. By the way, what 0-60's do the car and the draggy show for you? Thanks @@MisterDragy
@@johnultimate1161 the best on these runs was 3.57. The measurements on cars are usually a bit quicker than the Dragy stuff as they implement the roll out into their times on the dash, where the Dragy is the real time without roll out.
Not sure? GM sells A LOT of them, but, your average buyer must be different. Keep in mind these cars on average have sold and currently sell at MSRP+++. Those who took deliveries in 2020-2022 most like paid markups from 5k up to 30k. My theory is that when these get down into the 50s and 60s they'll be very popular.
Great video buddy. That was intense.

Thanks! And congrats, hope you enjoy it as much as I am this one!
@@MisterDragy Thanks brother, I hope so too. First couple of mods recommendations? Even if just aesthetic.
@@huskytales9839 I really like the C7 Carbon aero stuff. Check out their site!
@@MisterDragyThanks man I'll give it a look!
Love my c8. I hit it in black. Corsa exhaust. Perfect daily
I really love this car!
That exhaust is phenomenal! I had it on my C7 and plan on getting it for my C8!
I really like it! But, for weight savings purposes, I may swap to a titanium setup!

That is pretty good ET that 60to 130 mph , keep them contents coming.👏💪😎
Thanks! I thought so too, I'm very happy and impressed with this car! ❤
Had no idea you had a TH-cam channel! Awesome! It just got recommended to me, sub'd now 😎

These runs were all in track mode which is most aggressive, with compeitive ESC mode and using the 3500rpm launch control.

Best bang for your buck. Not sure if I would get a Z06 if I had the money. I couldn’t daily it.
I love the way you present and explain, I'm soon to get a HTC non Z51 hoping I can still get good run times after experimenting 🙋✌️
Thanks! Have fun!
Love the wheels. With the Z51 pack mid 11's are easy.
Thanks! Curious to see what it takes to get a 10!
@@MisterDragy A little bit of tweaking the ECM should do it, they're ways to tune these now.
Good choice and color!
Thanks!
Can’t wait to see your next video
Thanks for following along!
The 54 degree temps will definitely mess up your traction.
What is that phone holder you have?
Hey sir, I use a variety of the Scosche offerings from Amazon. I am a big fan.
@@MisterDragy If it's not too much trouble, could you paste a link for it?? 😊
*what happened to these cars? No one ended up buying them ? I see no content with these.*

They’ve sold almost 150000 C8’s. Buckets of content on them.
