Led Zeppelin was a hard rock/heavy blues band but they played a variety of styles. The band was created by guitarist Jimmy Page, who also produced all their albums. Singer Robert Plant also played harmonica, John Paul Jones played bass, mandolin, and keys, and John Bonham was drummer extraordinaire. If you are truly interested in learning Led Zeppelin, start at the beginning and go in album/track order - you will NOT be disappointed. Also, FYI, they don't have video for every song so you will have to do audio only reactions for Zep. Follow through on Zep and I GUARANTEE their fans will be here for it.

      Plz!
With Zepp, I highly recommend studio cuts for a first listen. They have great concert footage too, but these guys did precision studio work; Page often used more than one type guitar, laying down several tracks. example: *Babe, I'm gonna Leave You* (my personal fav, if forced to just pick one)
If you really like a jam, and we know of an outstanding concert version, we'll let ya know. example: *Kashmir,* the lead singer's fave song. There's great concert clips out there. If ya like, we can post a good link and you can react when you're in the mood...
      Also suggest:
      *Whole Lotta Love*
      *Ramble On*
      *Dazed & Confused*
      *The Lemon Song*
*When the Levee Breaks* - written by Memphis Minnie McCoy in 1927 about the 'Great Mississippi Flood of '27'.

You're very lucky you chose to react to this song when you did. It's the perfect song for the early part of your journey. The same is true of Led Zeppelin. They were one of the three bands who invented "heavy metal" music, the other two being Black Sabbath and Deep Purple. Led Zeppelin's guitarist, Jimmy Page, either invented or refined many of the guitar techniques that came to be commonly used in heavy metal.
Led Zeppelin disbanded in 1980, due to the untimely death of their drummer, John Bonham.
Based on your reaction to this song, I recommend the following songs (all by Led Zeppelin): "Stairway To Heaven" (Led Zeppelin's most famous and popular song, their biggest hit, but not their best song in my humble opinion,) "How Many More Times" (Live, Danmarks Radio, 1969), "Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You," "What Is And What Should Never Be," "Ramble On," "The Immigrant Song," and "Kashmir." That's far from a complete list of Led Zeppelin's top-tier songs, but it will get you started.
And of course, you should also react to songs by the other major heavy metal bands, too. You've already reacted to one AC/DC song. That band has a huge playlist of great songs. Other noteworthy bands of the same time period that also have a many great songs include Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Jimi Hendrix, Aerosmith, Blue Oyster Cult, Van Halen, Sammy Haggar, UFO, Rush, Nazareth, Queen, Motorhead and Judas Priest--and that's just the ones from the 1970s. Each subsequent decade provides its own standouts. Of course, there's nothing wrong with reacting to bands I didn't list: I didn't provide an exhaustive list, and there are always "one hit wonders," too. (No, I don't think the rock/metal of the 1970's is superior to what came after--but it's not worse, either.)
I would recommend that you schedule the songs you'll be reacting to based on the time period, instead of trying to do all the "good" songs by a particular band or artist. The reason is because rock and metal music have both evolved over time, and it's easier to understand and appreciate them if you acculturate yourself to them in their proper historical procession. Not that you need to be all that strict about sticking to a particular time period; the time period should just be one factor in the scheduling, not the overriding determinant.
Side note: When I first began listening to heavy metal in the 1970s, we hadn't yet begun to micro-classify bands and songs into tens (or hundreds?) of different sub-genres. Heck, I remember when there was just "rock," "soul," "jazz," "blues," "folk," "gospel," "country-western," "opera" and "classical." Modernly, we wouldn't consider AC/DC and Queen (for example) to be in the same genre--partly because Queen refused to produce songs all of which were in the same genre, and some of their songs could validly be classified in more than one genre (e.g, Bohemian Rhapsody.)
The better the musicianship of a band, the more likely it is that the band won't confine itself to a single style or genre.

The Greatest Band in Rock History. Highly Suggest!
    Kashmir- live from Celebration Day
Zeppelin had the best drummer ever - John Bohnam. John died in the 80’s. His son Jason took over for his dad and he is a beast as well.
In this live clip; you will witness that Greatness lives on and you will see that the best drummer in rock lives on through Jason!

Jay, it is great to see your journey into the world of music you have not previously been exposed to. To see your heart and mind open to this journey is a joy!
With that said, I’m 65 and probably have 30+ years on you. I’m am grateful for the music I’ve been exposed to, and I pray you will enjoy the past music that you need to learn!
My first concert was Humble Pie, and if I could politely request that you react to I Don’t Need No Doctor from Humble Pie from their live album Live at the Fillmore. I saw them on their last stop before they recorded this.
God bless you, young man, and may your musical journey fill you with as much happiness as mine did me!

Watch the Kennedy Center Honors where Led Zeplin are being Honored in which Ann & Nancy Wilson (Heart) sing Led Zeppelin's song Stairway to Heaven. John Bonham was a band mate who died & Led Zeppelin kinda took his son Jason under their wings. He played with them occasionally. Jason plays the drums for this tribute! Very touching & beautiful version of this song!!
