Well when you do things like fail to deliver 4 real patches in a year even though you said that now most of your teams are back on PU. And then you make a interim patch a full patch without adding anything so you can try to trick people that you are actually doing a patch each quarter. On top of bonehead changes like master modes and physical cargo that anyone can walk up and take while you are loading it. Then yeah, SC players are done with SC.
Sad that the weapon effects in that game are more visceral, engaging and feel more powerful than anything in SC... Seems like it just keeps getting further and further away from a fun game and these retro games prove it. That actually looks fun to play, unlike any SC videos ive seen in the last year.
This particular game is 25 years old and was the third sequel to X-Wing, but it was the last in the series. He's playing on a heavily modded version developed by the community. Star Wars Squadrons was *kind of* a sequel, but not really. There is also a fan remake of the games in progress, but it's something that people can only work on in their spare time.
When you name yourself "Avenger One," those who know know. :-P I've been fantasizing about an X-Wing series successor for over 20 years. I was so certain Star Citizen would be better. Now I'm increasingly feeling like CIG is completely lost where it counts the most: GAMEPLAY!
Don't you love that you're playing not star citizen because of Yogi Bear's terrific flight model changes. I was never that good at flying but now even to a noob like me, the ship combat is not interesting anymore.
Space shooters are the most misunderstood genre in gaming history. It would be easy to make a fully functional rendition of the Executor in modern game engines, it would look spectacular, surely there is sales potential, but game publishers are allergic to anything that isn't a Fortnite knockoff.
What Star Citizen would feel without master modes. Lost a part of my life in the X-Wing series, sooo much immersion and fun.
This is the confirmation that even the biggest star citizen fans are leaving star citizen

Master Modes Made all my friends leave, :( now Space Bobs Rule the verse........... Its like revenge of the Nerds!!!!!

It's a great game, but not very good in versus multiplayer. The X-Wing series would needs some changes to work for that.
The idea that this game is 30 YEARS OLD(!!!) and doesn't have a proper sequel, remaster, remake, reboot, nothing... is absolutely unfathomable.

Ain't that the truth eh
When Avenger one is playing other games, you know SC is dead.

Wonder what mods he's using to get it that pretty.
@@Swatmat No, XWAU. TFTC just uses XWAU assets. TFTC is a mod that requires another mod.
