Never mind. I was about to ask why nobody mentioned Scotland, but Y'all hit it. A lot of the violence stems from drugs, and drug issues stem from the fact that young black men really aren't afforded the opportunities others are. It's really sad, because too many young men are put into the position of being the man of the house at a very young age. They have no real assistance keeping their families going, so the quick way to make enough to keep the lights on and feed their mom and siblings. The way the world works down here seems to almost be designed to keep the young people hopeless. I wish things would change, but it doesn't look like it will anytime soon.
Drugs plays a part but most of the violence is retaliation now. It may have once started about drugs but now it’s about getting back at who killed ya Patna/cousin/brother or whatever. Most of the gangs are based off somebody who died from that area. Block banging mostly. Anybody that says it’s about hoods is most likely older. Because all the hoods are divided. The south side use to all be one. Now it’s broke down in multiple different sections who are beefed out with each other. Baton Rouge is so divided when it comes to cliques/gangs.

Cancer alley is an 85 mile stretch between Baton Rouge and New Orleans (all the river parishes)…always been referred to that. If you want to stretch it it goes to St. Francisville because of the nuclear plant 🤷🏿♂️
BR is cancer alley. It starts in BR and goes down past NO. It’s a damn shame. If you live within a few miles of ANY of the petrochemical plants. Even freakin Gonzalez has an entire neighborhood with new 300k plus houses that backs up to a toxic waste site that could destroyveverything next time the mississippi floods.

I love swamp stories but I’ve been thru only 3 mins of this video and this is mostly incorrect. The one thing that’s is correct is Baton Rouge is wild everywhere you go
I’ve lived both north and south and many in between in my 21yrs in br. Born and raised. If you ride down plank road you will hit 60 percent of Baton Rouge hoods back to back. It’s the only city I’ve been that doesn’t have any middle ground between hoods. They pretty much just run into each other except gardere lane. All the suburbs are on the outskirts of town

These the places I lived so stop, nobody considers easy town, park town or none of that north baton rouge. Yes its all north of Florida Blvd, but south baton Rouge is not half of baton Rouge. Dixie people don't consider themselves north baton rouge. I guess gardere lane is part of the Southside just because it's south of Florida blvd. It's doesn't work like that. Everything south of Florida ain't the Southside neighborhood. Hell valley park south of Florida too. They definitely not southside. There's a difference in the southern part of the city and the "Southside neighborhood". And if you really want to get technical, the Southside doesn't actually start until you cross north blvd which is 2 blocks south of Florida.

Just left Zion City doing cable work. Passing through Glen Oaks now
This is accurate…. I’m still out here in BR…. From the mud…. But i’m in one of those suburban areas…. Believe me, there are some of those middle areas that people believe don’t exist out here…. Plus there are several things to do at night out here as we have a booming social register…. But these younguns think they invincible…. RNS…. Got 800 guns and don’t know what to do with em…. Stay with that iron and keep your head on a swivel….
It’s crazy bro you be on point I was raise in BR for years I move too Okc it’s the samething you might wanna look into these Okc gangs bro they crazy out here
The shot at 1:32, those apartments we own those and I just noticed how new your flyover is. We cleared the area from trees etc around the apartments not even 2 months ago.
thats cool, any idea for commuter jobs for ppl that are trying to live in the small towns away from the city?
My cousin Terry Boyd lived there
@@louisinese No. Go somewhere else there's enough traffic.
@@IsaTehGothicMando trust me I’ve gotten whatever just desserts here in atl. Also are you ready for the ahsoka show?
The most polite “ya heard me” I eva heard
I'm from LaPlace which is a small hub between NOLA and BR, we use the term cancer alley to refer to St. John/St. Charles parish but never baton rouge. Did not know anyone uses that term to refer to BR. I believe you that they do, but when I hear anyone say it I have always assumed they meant here.
Cancer alley is an 85 mile stretch between Baton Rouge and New Orleans (all the river parishes)…always been referred to that. If you want to stretch it it goes to St. Francisville because of the nuclear plant 🤷🏿♂️
@@fall06safari ty for the info
BR is cancer alley. It starts in BR and goes down past NO. It’s a damn shame. If you live within a few miles of ANY of the petrochemical plants. Even freakin Gonzalez has an entire neighborhood with new 300k plus houses that backs up to a toxic waste site that could destroyveverything next time the mississippi floods.
This mane say ya heard me 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Dude you gotta be from Baton Rouge , you know a lil too much 🤞🏾🤣💯
he not if u from the city u can tell cuz alot of the info wrong
Say brah swamp stories be on some shyt 🔥🔥
I remember that day dude went to the party and shot it up. They had photos of the aftermath there was brains and blood covered all over the floor. My little sister wanted to go im glad she didn't but Rest in peace to the victims I actually went to school with one of them.
Do one about Little Rock also there is more in Memphis than just Dolph and Gotti there's a lot more going on there
Mane ya hear mane Memphis mob LMG YMM fam mob etc and Little Rock been banging for a long time too same as Mississippi
Facts, he needs to do Little Rock. I ain’t gonna lie though, I’d bet he has a hard time gettin info about Lil Rock cuz everything is quiet and it ain’t a lotta rappers talkin bout it.
I have followed ever since the very first video! I must say the growth has been amazing 👏!

Good description of Baton Rouge!
“Anything is bound to happen for no reason”
Bro always puts me on fire music
There’s a whole lot in between north and south Baton Rouge. Eazy town, park town, Dixie, Prescott, ghost town, fairfield. None of these hoods are consider north br. Scotland, banks, Zion city, the oak and a few others make up north br or as called the 3rd world. Also Kevin gates is not from the top he from the bottom.
All the suburbs are on the outskirts of town
exactly he dont got the stories ryte
you can't be br from all them hoods is the metro easy town the park all that is north br when you cross Florida Boulevard that's when the south starts
@@popppadoc27 I'm born and raised in br bro. Scotland Square, baker, s. 17th, Keokuk st, evergreen st, delphine, 15th and terrace.
North Baton Rouge is 3rd world
Love when the rip shows up and dude goes bannng
Your vids never disappoint
I moved out of sherwood when I was 10. I'm glad I did. I mean I still cut up in denham but I can't imagine how bad I would have got if I would have stayed.
@7:05 it’s 4700 on the screen but you said 5400 LUCCI 🤔
BR remind me of the countdown the way it’s set up as a city
Can you do more Bay Area videos
Aaayyyyeeee the intro back!
crazy how you ain’t mention maine music or JMM larry
I was saying this video is BS u til you brought up the Florida Blvd reference 😂
this man is obssesed with baton rouge lmao. We need real detorit episode! Baltimore/DC, Memphis, Saint Louis
Crazy bcuz that Exxon is big as hell and the ppl that work there be having money, but the whole place next to it is hella dangerous. I don’t even go that way
Another Banger! 💣💥
NBA vs TBG, Vultures vs Bleedas, 300 vs 600. It’s nonstop beef in Baton Rouge. Not to mention the different neighborhoods like Easy Town, Brookstown, Ghost Town, and Park Town (amongst other neighborhoods). Some of these neighborhoods might be beefing with each other and they are so close a rock can be thrown from one neighborhood to the other. Lastly, they don’t let beef die in Baton Rouge at all. I have seen one student at my school beat another student up then shoot the boys house up that evening after he beat him up.
They coming together today for a toy drive 💯
@@jbsix Wow, that’s amazing. That’s a blessing!
Marvin and jugg are two different ppl
