I guess Im asking randomly but does someone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account? I somehow forgot my login password. I would love any tricks you can give me
@Damon Reginald I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Its incredible how much this holds up 8 years later, even with all the advances in softwares and arqviz this are still to this day top notch renders, congrats man.
I love how you are are constantly talking and iterating your ideas. It doesn't only explain the work but we also get a glimpse of your mind and the creative process involved. The way you break down and emphasize core ideas and workflows makes it really easy to understand that pieces of work like this are not so daunting if you know how to approach them. Thanks so much this tutorial has been very educational!
Incredible atention to detail! Really makes the image come to life. It's particularly interesting how you use brushes to mask and paint on diferent layers.
Pedro___Dude, watching this at 230 am after a couple of Jack-Ds with some Yatao Hang Drum beats, Awesome to watch a focused trippy time lapse creation with a pro-down tempo explanation.. super chilled way to learn - Hats Off ..You rocked this.... full on crafted it bro, Now thats some inspirational skills Thanks..A+GOLD STAR.
Please do more of these! would love a specific video on your curve-colour correcting approach, say bluish to green or light to dark etc, mountains to green grass... I don't know, just how you approach it. I find it hard sometimes to get started because the first 3-4 elements are hard to balance and you end up getting stuck.
This is so useful, thank you - 2D matte art has always interested me and been an area I wanted to approach, but there were a lot of process blanks that I didn't know how to approach and my images would always be off the mark in regards to being believable. The combination and manipulation of all PS's tools was very useful to see - approaching the creation of this as kind of a 50-50 between image stock and custom paint. Thanks!
Amazing and inspiring work. Thanks for sharing. I notice, though, that most of your images seem to use this hazy, magical light and atmosphere. If your client wanted a crisp, fun-in-the-sun poolside image, would your approach be the same? How would you handle that sort of thing?
by the way Pedro, do you use a tablet? which one do you recommend for this type of work? your brush strokes are waay to accurate to be made with a mouse... or..maybe not ?
Can you please do a tutorial on 10:38 all the different colour masks you used? What's that technique called? I see various people doing it in sped up videos but can't figure it out!!
Maybe you've found this out already by now, but for everyone else whos wondering, those are all of the channels from the Vray renders! those makes selections in photoshop waay easier :)
Sir would you like to provide link for source images & , thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us, you are an amazing artist Really really thank you
I am a beginner in arvhviz and I have a question: the base render became secondary here. Supposing this render buildings are from the client, we can't see any details, closeups or anything like this. It's all about the composition and mood. We could almost photobashed the entire render too. Professionally, what kind of clients would like this? If I have a project from a house for example, the client probably wants to see the house he's gonna live, not an illustration in a fictional world...
Great video. I heard you mention other tutorial in this video. Dillon cole i think? I did not get the names. Please share. Thank you for this and all your videos.
You mention in your Video Description that you can use the TH-cam Options to *slow down* the video - please can you explain where, as there is nowhere that I can see that can be done. Thanks :)
Hi, love the video. I'm an architect working in London but love to create matte paintings. I do have a question that I've been wondering about for a while. When you produce an image like this for commercial purposes - are there ever any copyright issues with the images that are used in the photobashing? For example the person that took that photo of the obelisk - would he or she be entitled to claim copyright for that use if say you were to integrate it in this image and then sell it? Thank you
Whoa great tutorial! I was wondering is it possible to use these matte paintings in a movie (like replacing the background of a scene with these matte paintings)?
+eren arpaci I had the same question and figured it out.It is a brush. I found perspective lines images on internet :www.google.com/search?q=perspective+lines&safe=off&biw=1164&bih=835&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiogZi9--jLAhUFuYMKHfN9B88Q_AUIBigBthen I made a brush with image :Edit/Define Brush Preset
I been trying over and over again but always fail, been making these cool looking blocks that sort of look like buildings in mandelbulb 3d I really want to bring them to life with matte painting but never turns out the way I want..maybe they suck?..maybe I should start with real buildings?...maybe I don't have a good imagination? would really like to see what you could do with them in a video... overall really like your work
Pedro, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us, you are an amazing artist. Thank you.
+Mateus Pimenta Thanks very much, glad you enjoy the tutorials

haha thanks you, that's very nice of you to say.
Great video. I really appreciate seeing tutorials with fairly native photoshop tools so they are more accessible for educational purposes.
Incredible atention to detail! Really makes the image come to life. It's particularly interesting how you use brushes to mask and paint on diferent layers.

hahah awesome! cheers dude!
Absolutely incredible, man. Love your sloppy (but totally working!) use of brushes.
I would pay to see a tutorial about the layers organization, the tools you mostly use and how does your color correction workflow work
Please do more of these! would love a specific video on your curve-colour correcting approach, say bluish to green or light to dark etc, mountains to green grass... I don't know, just how you approach it. I find it hard sometimes to get started because the first 3-4 elements are hard to balance and you end up getting stuck.

Thanks very much. You can always apply similar styles to any kind of work, it depends on your vision and clients vision
Thankyou for your good advice you are very creative artist.

how would you suggest i start building up my catalogue?
The best thing to do is really take your camera with you and slowly build it up as you visit new places and even your everyday places
all i have is my iphone camera. is there a website with free stock photos?
name of brush for perspective??
awesome work!! which program did you use to draw up the buildings?
All made in PS
The9PointStar Highly doubt it. The buildings were either stocks, or something made in another program like blender or cinema 4d
+Steven Khong The buildings were made in Autodesk 3DS Max
