    Thanks Danielle. We talk about protein a lot at our SW group. Always reach for speed and protein first. It does make a difference 😊

      I’m so glad to hear this Julie! For me, it gets mentioned but not as much as it should. The focus is mainly on speed food .eg. Fill 1/3 of your plate with speed food. But I am glad that you talk about the importance at your group ❤️

    This is really helpful as I’ve been thinking of coming back to SW but I wanted to think of my protein as I know it fills you up more , so this has confirmed that I will be doing SW again and making my protein higher thanks ❤ btw I love quark too!!! X

    Hi Danielle, so glad you are talking about protein in your diet. I have come to realise too the difference in my own life and I now prioritise protein with every meal! Aduki beans are really high too if you are looking for a "bean" element. I wonder if you can maybe do a video geared towards highlighting all the good sources of protein we can have that is also on plan? That would be so useful! Can't wait to see how you do this Saturday and how much upping the protein really helps!!! Xx

      Hey Lynn! It has definitely helped keep me on plan so let’s hope the scales are looking good on Saturday 😂
      Brilliant idea because there are so many difference foods that are high in protein that we don’t really think about (including me).

    Maybe they don't mention it at your group which is strange because not only is P foods mentioned in every class I've been in but they also go into it in your booklet. They always mention that P foods keep you fuller for longer.

    • @daniellecindy
      @daniellecindy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m glad that this is your experience. In my personal experience the main focus has been speed food, filling your plate with it and making sure you have it with every meal. For me personally, protein is mentioned and it’s filling power but not how important it is, not just for filling power but other health benefits. If you are going to the gym you should be consuming more or how to work out how much protein you need.

    At last, someone is talking about protein! they are SO important, not just for weight loss but for overall health! Recommend the Optimal Protein podcast :) There should be at least 25-30g of protein per meal, about 1g per pound of ideal body weight per day.

    A mistake a lot of people make is not having at least a quarter of a plate of fruit or veg with their meal, so they are just having the syn'ed part and not the free veg.

    Hi hun. Thanks for sharing as always. I love ❤️ white buttery toast too lol 😂 I know what you mean with protein. I have increased my protein and fibre intake. I’ve been adding protein powder to my breakfast or in a shake which I know is syns on slimming world but it’s made a massive difference. I now try to get around 25 plus grams in protein each meal. ❤I still like a little sweet treat at night lol 😂. I still need to try quark. I bet it’s nice with the lemon yoghurt 😊. I’ll try the breakfast you made as it looked delicious 😋
    Yes please if you could add the grams of protein, I’d find that very helpful. Thanks so much sharing hun ❤xxxxx

    I completely agree with the power of protein!! I eat 200g of protein every day from chicken and turkey, and sometimes tuna. I'm actually skinny for the first time in my life. As I've always had a very big appetite, for me the protein has to come from meat. Those processed 'protein' products in the supermarket do not work for me. I think they're a bit of a gimmick. I'm delighted you're seeing a big change by focusing on protein. I'd love to hear more about this in your videos. Keep spreading the word!! ❤

    • @janice-ann7157
      @janice-ann7157 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ps my shopping costs a small fortune every week so I know it's not feasible for everyone to eat that much meat but I'm 47 and for me I prefer to prioritise my health over everything else that I could spend my money on. Xx

    • @daniellecindy
      @daniellecindy  ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s brilliant to hear. I’m so glad it’s made a difference in your diet/lifestyle. I’ve really felt the difference too.
      I know what you mean. Everything has high in protein at the minute. Yogurts, puddings etc. they’ve always been there but it’s just the hype that’s making it so popular right now.
      Have a fab evening lovely ❤️
