Except of those, only Pocock had any ticker. The rest of them were flat-track bullies. If everything was going well, they'd go well. Only Pocock was a star when the chips were down.
my dad use to coach him in little leagues for burleigh bears and even at age 12-14ish o’connor was a beast to watch! my dad always said he was too good to even coach, he’d just let him do his thing on the field lol.
He made his Super15 debut at 17 years of age and international debut with the Wallabies at only 18 years of age. Played his first world cup at 21 years of age and was probably one of the most composed players in the whole team among some experienced players in there
I'm welsh, and we've had some heartbreak against the wallabies, but i've loved watching you guys since i first saw Larkham play, i love your style of rugby, and I don't think any player on Earth looks as exciting as James O'Conner right now
What a huge talent. Such a shame that he was such a complete prat and just seemed incapable or unwilling to change. Now as we enter the 2015 RWC and the team has been announced, it looks as though his amazing talent will not been seen in a Wallaby jersey in England.
2011 truly was the year for australian rugby and sport in general. The wallabies have got so much work to do to be back in this position again and i dont even know if they can. hopefulley even sets em straight
Australia are my second favourite team apart from my own country ireland.....I like them because they play great rugby and are really exciting to watch...This guy o connor looks like australias next gem in rugby
@Hamdogrocks Beale's momentum is what carries the ball forward. The players are both running forwards extremely quickly. When you judge a forward pass you judge the motion of the passer, whether he released it behind himself or in front , not the starting and ending position of the ball. The IRB released a video about it. Search "IRB forward pass" on youtube and you'll get it. It was a perfectly good pass (besides being too low).
As an aussie who hates the current wallabies squad, oconnor is the shining star in a team full of pompous deadshits, and hes only 21. Only good things can come from this precious talent Being his age, he could be still be playing by the 2023 world cup!
My boys were as good as O'Connor, and that is THE point - Australia has a lot of talent - most of it is strangled by the powers! If only the TALENT got a run - GOOD ON JAMES!
@FitnessExpertise just turn up to the sheaf in sydney.... he's known to make an appearance... followed by a non-appearance at the team photo the next morning!
honestly hes great cause apparently his parents are from nz and grandparents from south africa idk how that works out but ehh and he's raised in aus? 3 of the best countries in da world at rugby.. nice.. but go all blacks!!
haha james oconnor would put stevie ferris to shame, james is one of the most talented player in the rugby union, and too be one of the youngest that's even better.
No, he was so toxic to the team environment because he was such an asshole to everyone that team psychologists said that he should never be near any team environment, let alone wallabies.
what the! He hasn't done anything special here. Just a winger doing his job. Quade Cooper played better in this game. Aussie bang O'Connor's drum a bit too much
god damn, that cohort of beale, oconnor, cooper, pocock genia shouldve been the basis of one of the greatest teams ever
Except of those, only Pocock had any ticker. The rest of them were flat-track bullies. If everything was going well, they'd go well. Only Pocock was a star when the chips were down.
Yeah i mean it could be except there is this team that wear black jerseys with a little fern on the chest

Australian rugby proved unable to mentor a talent like O'Connor. Fortunately European rugby was able to help him.
@@mikem9001 and after Sundays game it seems to have done him a lot of good
@@proudkiwi7641 True.
I should also have given due credit to Brad Thorn and Dave Rennie.
What an amazing young player !
Australia vz New Zealand will be an immense contest next year. cant wait
from nz, james is a talented player. i look forward to seeing him vs All Blacks in the future.
James O'Connor really did own Mvovo this game...
O'Connor is such an amazing player. this from a kiwi. Nerves of steel, brilliant vision and skillset.
world class. Were watching a future world player of the year winner here.
what a game he had- really great player
im a kiwi and ill be the first to admit he played a brilliant game, hopefully with more to come
Great game it was even though we lost but I'm huge fan of James O'Connor :)
Hes a great player

Cooper and o connor are class... That take at the end when o connor scored was fukin sweet
Wallabies are going to, if not already, miss James O'Connor. Class player that.
Mr300millz its been tough
this was the best game of rugby I've ever seen
@DollsLiving Nicely edited and a very apt title!
Such a beast!
Amazing tackle !!!
Wish him a great career, he's got the skills for it.
0:54 justim beber!!
this "child" is just as o'driscoll...he is born to be a legend of rugby...
You know what... that kid's pretty darn good
I fucking miss this James O connor...
As an aussie who hates the current wallabies squad, oconnor is the shining star in a team full of pompous deadshits, and hes only 21. Only good things can come from this precious talent
Being his age, he could be still be playing by the 2023 world cup!
that was a damn good game. Wallabies seemed to miss him this year
He has so much power for a relatively small body, not even big compare to other backs.
i always rated oconnor. couldnt understand why he was not picked for rwc15
The pass from Kurtlee Beale is a forward pass by like 5 metres XD watch where he passes and where oconnor catches lol, still good
He was such an incredible player, when he was younger. His arrogance is certainly taking its toll and now he is a very avarage player.
Where is James O'Connor today and is he still playing?
Yes he play for Sale Sharks in the Aviva premiership (in England)
My boys were as good as O'Connor, and that is THE point - Australia has a lot of talent - most of it is strangled by the powers! If only the TALENT got a run - GOOD ON JAMES!
James Oconnor is simply amazing. He'll always be the best player to play for Australia. Needs to sort out his drunken attics and Justin beiber looks.
James o'Connor is the next Brian o'Driscoll
@FitnessExpertise just turn up to the sheaf in sydney.... he's known to make an appearance... followed by a non-appearance at the team photo the next morning!
2nd tackle was tannnk
Wow the maligned "three amigos" cutting it up
and his parents were southafrican born, he was born in australia, he could have been a great player for any 3 of the trinations teams
he was born in australia. his parents are kiwis
Boss
Was that at suncorp stadium?
He really Iced Mvovo
they chose him so that he would stay in Australia, and the fact he's the only person eligible for all 3 isn't really an achievement hahaha
0.18 is the best!! XD
Born in Australia
could have been australias best wallaby
Good Kiwi born player..
a sxc beast
@ProfessorBastard ??
what happened to him? :(
quade cooper... why did robbie deans select him?
He can tackle unlike someone else haha
At 0:20 he only made it difficult for himself by stepping in, should have been a routine tackle, there were plenty of numbers
nope, did you see his tackling game??
When you're hot, you're hot....Onya James, proud of 'yu mate...
Does the perfect game not consist of try, penalty, conversion and drop goal?
honestly hes great cause apparently his parents are from nz and grandparents from south africa idk how that works out but ehh and he's raised in aus? 3 of the best countries in da world at rugby.. nice.. but go all blacks!!
Looks like Justin Bieber, in reality he's hard as nails! What a player.
ewen*
I reckon..who's Steve Ferris..O' Connor would run rings around his slow ass
Вау
Pretty good! But coulda passed to Cooper at 0:43
Justin O'Bibier
O'Connor is not an out-half. A much better winger.
Winger or fullback
He is just the average player :S
there is no 2:16...
NUDGEE REPRESENT!
Yay, you go Justin Bieber
haha james oconnor would put stevie ferris to shame, james is one of the most talented player in the rugby union, and too be one of the youngest that's even better.
crap... spends too much time worrying about his haircut, and he cant even get that right
does anyone think he will be a wallaby again
No, he was so toxic to the team environment because he was such an asshole to everyone that team psychologists said that he should never be near any team environment, let alone wallabies.
south african winger isnt up to standard
wasn't very special
where is his drop goal?
Stevie Ferris would destroy him!
what the! He hasn't done anything special here. Just a winger doing his job. Quade Cooper played better in this game. Aussie bang O'Connor's drum a bit too much
