Where are you stationed out of ? Are you near the Catskills ???? Winter camping in a hammock is my go to for warmth and comfort. Also my terrain here is wild never a flat spot
That is awesome that you got the serial number 007!! Nice dude. I love hammock camping at the catskills, I usually hike out to Echo Lake, nice hammock camping spot except every time I go I end up running into a bear there lol. I can't wait to get my hands on a quilted chameleon eventually but I'll use my regular chameleon and hammock gear quilts for now, they do a great job too lol
Thank you ! Exho lake , it’s the humans there I always run into lol it tends to be a party spot Two different trips there and I heard highly intoxicated people having a bad trip lol. I need to revisit echo lake lol.
@@jaycreature3893 Yeah I can see it being a party spot. There were a few people out there last time I went but that was in early November, so the real backpackers were out there and not the fair weather hikers haha
That is sweet! And nice score with the single digit serial number! I think you missed a golden opportunity to call it Bond. James Bond, but I completely get the Enik reference. I'm partial to Chaka...
There was a consideration for a law enforcement reference based on the shield number. But I’m so old and husky I could never pass for a royal govt assassin, oddly I DO LOOK LIKE CHAKKAH!!!!! (Also that is something a royal govt assassin would likely say)
@@jaycreature3893 Too funny...ironically, Chaka scared me more than the Sleestaks - that was one freaky hominid! Do you have an in with Dutch to get that single digit???
Land of the lost...lol. .I remember that show. Cheesy.
SUPER CHEESY! But that material is definitely the same stuff as in the show
That's great..did an 8 miler in harriman sp. Saw my first timber rattlesnake.
Lotsa fat rattlers up our way :)
NICE. I have a few hammocks but have never used them. Maybe some day.

@@sundaymorninghikes6275 negative. Just lucky I guess :)
How are you liking the hammock so far? I’m using the warbonnet stuff and really like it over ground sleeping.
Hammock are my only option unless I want to wake up crippled. I’m tooooo big for sleeping mats
