@@jameshumber1602 Yeah Mike and Rich voiced the two partying aliens in that UFO episode. Their voices were distorted so it was hard to catch. Read somewhere too that Jay had one line as the police UFO that abducts them at the end, but not totally sure on that.

This is their future. Think they're going to spend more money on digitally de-aging themselves so they can keep making fun of old people? A teenage background artist and Rich sharpening pencils is more in line with Mike's budget (retirement plans).
Rich is a good artist. This is prime underneath-Garfield Newspaper Comic art. I don't know how to deliver sincere compliments anymore. I learned all my social skills watching these goons for 10 years.
Yeah, please no. They'll ruin it by trying to write a real script instead of the usual, "let's see what Mike doodled in his notebook... and... ok, Rich? Got anything?"
The Speed pitch was just a gag. The Pong pitch could be great if the plot was fleshed out and had a real ending. But this... this is insanely clever. I would watch this movie.
The slow invasion gag is why Mike is a cut above normal funny guys. Stewart and Shatner are the right age for the protagonists, if the latter can abate his visceral hatred for RLM and Mike Stoklasa personally. If the universe is just, Emmerich will contact you to produce this guaranteed blockbuster.
I like how the premise of an alien ship in the sky orbiting a planet that experiences time faster than the ship is taken directly from an episode of Star Trek: Voyager.
You can tell Mike is the boss because his animated character looks like him ten years ago (a good thing) and Rich's looks like him ten years ago (a bad thing).
Throughout the movie there needs to be this one old character that's just basically seen sleeping all the time throughout the film as a joke, and near the climax, he actually gets out of bed. Turns out he's a war veteran that kept himself in good shape and has plenty hidden away for "just such an occasion."
I remember when i saw Rich building their recording booth, and was amazed by how well made it was, and now i find out he can draw too. That man is amazing.

I was laughing at how ridiculous the premise was for the movie... Until I started thinking about it. With the right tone, it's a neat concept for a movie/episode of something. Could totally see a Futurama episode where slow-mo aliens try to invade Earth/"our" universe by trying to Bug-Bomb it, not realizing the difference in the speed of time passage. Most of the episode is everyone trying to figure out what's going on until the aliens eventually show up and get wrecked by the fast-moving Earthlings-- could even be a twist ending (like the short story of the invasion fleet traveling to Earth over great time and distance only to be eaten by a small dog in Hitchhiker's Guide).
Worry not for multiple Never Ending Story(s) are being produced. By the time they're done, we should be ready for an entire redo of Harry Potter starring Will Smith's GRANDson. Quick, plan the next TWELVE Star Wars films before it's too late!
The core gimmick really is pretty brilliant - doesn't need to be entirely elderly folks. But like, the gag that these timeless aliens who can wait a whole generation before taking over would (of course) be super slow is both oddly satisfying, but also ripe for amazing visuals. Like they said, both speeds would be fun to watch. Neat idea. Plus I like the way Rich draws hands - especially when he gives himself 6 fingers.
