This is such a great tutorial, and it shows how great you are at communicating and bringing people along with this tutorial! Great stuff, thanks again for this.
You had me hooked after 22 seconds, by using footage from my hometown lol 🤩 ... which was a good thing, because the whole video is well structured and contains a couple of really smart ways of solving mundane problems that I never thought about. Keep those videos coming
Let me start off by saying I just seen your page for the first time today! Since then I’ve been on your page for the last 2 hours! Anyone who sees this you landed in the right place! I know I did. I just want to say your him!! 🎉🎉 keep going.
If you'd like to have abrasions and scratches on the text to make it blended more smoothly with the plate, you could use new sold - turbulent noise, adjust contrast, brightness, scale and complexity to match desired pattern and then use this solid as a matte for a text layer. (Pre-compose both, preferably)
Your tutorials are amazing, only thing more i would appreciate is when you said we still need to pre-compose the footage first at 09:08 - explaining why it is important, anyways great vids edit: You actually mentioned it at the end, but my message remains ;)
Looks really useful, especially the text "tracking", for the last thing I'd rather use Mocha Pro which is basically the same I think but if you have to do it multiple times its faster
Great stuff, never considered using WS like this. One tip I can offer in return is to use the "create reference frame" button in the content aware fill window to automatically open whatever frame you are currently on in PS! skips the whole process of having to export a frame.
Cool tutorial! But why don't use the generative fill layer from photoshop (save as psd instead of jpeg, turn off visibilty of background layer) to get rid of your subjects and text in the street sign example. Would be faster. Also saving 2x jpeg does degrade the quality (important if you want to colour grade the video afterwards.)
Definitely a working method, and I agree about the jpeg - honestly, I should have picked png for lossless compression for this case, or a higher bit depth file format if I planned to do color after. Regardless, I like your solution!
Wow. The intro was incredible. How did you add so many phrases and sync them with voice? Is there any technique? Please, create a video for it as well!
Wonderful! Helpful explaination! Thank you so much! Exactly what I was looking for! Could someone tell what to do if I want to track multiple texts in the same comp? THX!
yup yup, I wrote out each sentence, used Text Exploder to break the words up, animated one word with the Transform effect, and then copy pasted that effect to the rest. Then just manual sync, took about 10 minutes to do this part
That intro was wild.
I literally thought this looks like something nathaniel drew would do
