You are not just good barber but and good teacher well done 👍 God bless you
Thank you 😊
Great teacher!
For sure
Best teacher ever. Simple but professional. Thank you. Loving your course
You're very welcome! Thank you 🙏
I’ve been learning for a long time now and the owner of one of the shops I work at has been trying his hardest to get me to the point he wants me to be at and your videos are a great tool so thank you 🙏🏻
Another great video to understand. Keeping it simple and adding indicators to what to look for.
Another great tutorial. You place such confidence in my ability, i am actually overwhelmed with pride. I've been cutting my husband's white, thinning hair for about 6 months, and it works out better each time. That crown standing up is my biggest fear! But I've conquered the other problems with practice, and this video really addressed the sides and crown. Again, thank you for your passion, and I am looking into your online classes as well.
You are so welcome! Thank you so much and I love to hear a success story 😁
I hate to say it, but I'm a barber who went to school during the pandemic right at the start of 2020. So, most of my experiences came from that. I took a 4-year break and am now cutting hair at a chain trying to sharpen skills I wasn't able to get during the pandemic days. I have always enjoyed it, but starting is a frightening thing, lol 😂
Anyways. Been watching your vids and felt I had to let you know
I hope you are finding some useful content in them. What’s your end goal? Where are you trying to get to
Great work and presented in a straightforward and lucid way. Thank you!
Thanks for your clarity… I’m cutting with so much more confidence after following many of your videos!!!
Thank you 😁
Exactly what I was hoping for u to post! Thank you sooooooooo much for posting this ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
You make my day .As a hairdresser then became a barber you give me so much confidence .I do not like straight hair but I do my best so watching you helps me a lot
Thank you Anna, and I can assure you of this, you definitely know a lot more about barbering than I do about hairdressing.
@@theoneminutebarber I won first prize hair contest at 16 years old
You done a fantastic job making the video very easy to understand with those edited lines on the hair & clear explanation. Thank you for sharing your skilful knowledge with us ❤

Thank you Michael. Looking forward to watching later tonight 😊
Thanks Karen
Excellent tutorial...your probably correct to say that a bit more fading with sideburns would have made it just look better..i really learned a lot from this..thankyou 👍
Gracias por compartir saludos desde México 🇲🇽 un buen tutorial ☘️☘️☘️
Thanks, Saludos from Gto,Mexico 💈
Welcome!
Very helpful thanks
First one I’ve seen. Wish I did barbering now at college after my level 2. Love the slicing . Those scissors look great too. Well done .
Thanks so much I am very lucky that quarteredsteels.com sent out some scissors for the video I wouldn`t cut with anything else now.
I enjoyed this video. Thanks for all information shared, it's really very helpful for me. Blessings.
Wow! Great job creating this video. A lot of value
Thank you 😊
Nice to watch. Good lesson of classic haircut
Loved it!
thank you for uploading these videos! i just recently graduated from cosmetology school and we didn't get a lot of mens haircuts so this is very helpful! i am clearly able to see your guides and what you are doing.
Thank you Melissa
Michael! thanks so much for these videos. I am really glad you point out how to cut hair as you approach the parietal ridge and occipital bone. I feel most barbers cut way too tight in these areas
It's the most important part of the whole cut
@@theoneminutebarberI agree. The parietal ridge gives hair support from the top, to give it a more even look
You're absolutely the best barber! 💈
You're the best!
From Venezuela 🇻🇪, ¡thanks!!!
Best barber on TH-cam, and I watch a lot of barber videos 👏
Thank you Gill
Great video! Simple and easy to understand!!!
Thank you
Brilliant video, well explained, engaging, thank you! ❤
You are so welcome!
My favourite video youve made so far!
Thank you 😊
Thank you 🙏
Hi, Michael! Thank you for your tutorials, you make it so easy to understand each and every step. Concerning this very haircut, I'd make the sides a little bit faded/thinner using the open blades. But maybe the client himself asked you leave the thicker sides..
P.S. Every time I watch your lessons it seems like James McAvoy changed his career for 💈
He's a great actor, thanks for the compliment. I agree I could have applied more of a taper to stretch from nothing into the four. I will run it past the client next time I think he'd probably like that.
Thanks to you and this video, my girlfriend is now an epic barber. Thank you for saving me $40+ a month 🙏😊🤩
Fantastic!
Excellent tuition thank you
😊 Thanks Lynne
Thank u for the amazing understanding and easy visual learning experience
Always welcome
Lovely explanation, I cut my sons hair and he has such thick bushy hair with a double crown, I struggle with cutting the top but I will give this ago by sectioning and working my way across
Thank you so much, have you tried it yet? let me know how it goes
Great cut! 👍
Very informative . Tank you

I've probably saved $200 bucks cutting my own hair using your videos! Thanks for another good one!

Very nice vedio for excellent explanation all small details
Thanks
thanks for video Bro
my pleasure
Okay, so I cut my grandsons hair tonight. It turned out really good just using a couple of techniques you showed in this video and another one. The other video was about how to cut curly hair. (Not easy)
I just had to preface what I'm about to say with the previous statement. This will forever ring in my ears! My over dramatic grandson said when he looked in the mirror and I quote "what have you done!" Lol, trust me his hair looks great! I've cut hair for many years including my own...just never have taken classes.
Both my grandsons hair look great!
I cut my eldest grandson hair about three weeks ago. He has African hair...I'll search through your videos to see if you have video's that will help me out with cutting his hair.
Thanks so much!
Well done Cyndi,
I don't have any afro hair on the channel, I won't lie, although I can cut it, I'm lucky if I get one Afro haircut a year, so there is probably better channels than mine when it comes to that discipline
@@theoneminutebarber thanks so much! You are an amazing teacher, are you sure you didn't miss your calling to be a teacher. Lol
Thanks again for your video's and insight. God bless:)
I'd teach if someone paid me enough 😂
@@theoneminutebarber 🤣🤣🤣so true! We kinda have our priorities backwards when football players make as much as they do...and our teacher are being abused with little pay!
very good, I'm learning to cut hair now, I hope I can be like you
You can do it!
Good sensei
New subscriber, love your video 🙏

Thank you Jorge, it is indeed my first video of the year and happy new year to you. I have a few videos in the pipeline so hopefully get some more put next week.
❤😊 excelente, me cantan tus vidio 😊
Gracias ☺️
Mid fade and top long video need to me. please make a video on this topic.
I love your explanation ❤️ from India
Michael.. Great tutorial videos. Easy to follow and then practice. Can you show how you would deal with a double crown? It generally has more tendency to stick up. Thanks
I will if I find one. That's good content for the channel

It's great thank you! Will you do more on tighter cuts shorter guards. I'm struggling with my 0 gaurd occipital blending.
I have made a few fade videos, if you scroll through my videos you can find a few that you will get the information you're looking for
nice
ยอดเยี่ยมค่ะ
Merci monsieur
Великолепно👏👏👏
Fantastic video and memtor.
Will try cutting my husband's hair today. Wish me luck or more for him. Hehehe.
How do you get on?
i have curly hair but would love to have this texture
The video was very informative and I also just enjoy watching haircutting because they always look so much better at the end.😄Can you do one for men with frizzy hair sometime? My son's hair is on the frizzy side so he usually just cuts it short, but I was wondering if there is any way to give him a bit of style as well?
Thanks Lisa, if I get some frizzy hair in I will endeavour to film it.
In the mean time, I recommend you get him a natural boar bristle brush to brush through his hair once a day. The scalp produces sebaceous oil which conditions the hair, often hair gets frizzy when the sebaceous oil isn't reaching it, the natural boar bristle will drag the oil along the hair shaft.
@@theoneminutebarber Thank you! I will try that.
谢谢分享
Good tutorial
Thank you! Cheers!

Hi there, I’m learning a lot from your videos. Thanks so much! One question - when cutting the top you changed angle and you went more from the middle towards the fringe (at 10:44) - why did you do this?
Sometimes I like to go with the flow of the hair especially towards the fringe. It’s not the way to learn as it’s something that creeped into my cutting style. I don’t always do it, but will need to make a video to explain this in better detail.
Thank you for another instructive video. Can you please consider doing a video of how to cut/handle (Asian) hair types that are straight, coarse and naturally likes to point towards the front opposite to the "normal" direction of combing backwards. 🙂
I will if I get the chance, I do have a few Asian clients.
@@theoneminutebarber Thank you. Looking forward to it.
mantap
beautiful
Thank you! 😊
What an excellent idea! As a client I am never sure what is happening just out of sight as I sit staring at myself in the mirror.
You are so welcome!
Cool! Watch you from Ukraine 💪
Thank you. My great grandfather and grandmother were from Ukraine.
❤❤❤
Thanks. Your videos are really easy to follow. I've just started cutting my boys' hair. They are aged 3 and 6 years. I find the section above the ears really awkward and the fringe. I feel like there's not much room for the clippers around the ears and the fringe is difficult to get straight. Could you possibly do a little boy's basic haircut. I am using clippers and scissors as in this video. I wonder if it's worth buying a narrow clipper?
I would definitely get a little trimmer for around the ears it will make a huge difference, they also have a finer blade. Sometimes the wider teeth of the big clipper can nip the skin
