I worked in this job and it's extremely hard. You have to sleep in the van and you get home once a week. The trucks go like 20km/h uphill and downhill on the highway and the faster they move is at 70km/h. In Spain, a trip from Barcelona to Malaga takes about 3 days.
Fantastic work, really shows the amount of work and preparation that goes into these movements and shows the fantastic work of my colleagues in Roads Policing.
@@YelpBullhorn Of course. I just find it funny how people wear PPE in certain scenarios where regardless of what you're wearing, if something went wrong, it'd be almost certain death and there's nothing a silly plastic hat would do.
Saw this on the A460 between Rugeley and Cannock. Could not believe my eyes!!! Also I can’t believe the police abandoned it once it was parked up for the night. What if the gypsies had nicked it, and weighed it in for scrap!
Apart from admiring some superb driving and Police teamwork three things made me smile: @04:24 the start of the synchronised farting of 30+ air bags @05:33 the hi-tech spirit level to check the lean on the load. @08:52 the mug of tea on the rear trailer driver. Magically British.

One thing I don't understand is that the RPU motor units are equipped with a D&R Electronics 21cm Road Alert Message board, but I never see them using it in this video. Especially with the motor unit(s) at the back of the convoy holding traffic back. You would think they would use it, but, yeah. I don't get why they didn't.
holy moly, after crunching the numbers of how much oxygen that thing can hold when full, I got somewhere around 350,000 gallons or ~1,324,894.12 liters, this thing is huge!
I would put all of the videos on!! Don’t you think it’s weird putting 4 of these into one hospital?? How much air does one hospital need?? Is there a second wave of covid expected? Plus did the big hospital in London ever get used? Hmmm 🧐 weird? I would upload all the videos thank you for putting them on! Stay safe 👍🙏
What is it when they finish? Compress air for a factory? Be interested to know how the wheels under and trucks work as to how much is pushing and how much massive breaking power. Somehow when we in England move things. Doesn’t look as impressive as a house in America. Maybe just smaller roads.
1, because it's got to fit on the site. 2, you'd need fit fill gauges, piping and valves to every tank. 3, it would cost more for many tanks than just one.
They have to pay and get permission of councils and highways as some utility wires need taking down or propped up. Street furniture removed then reinstated. They have to plan months ahead for it. Sometimes they do a dry run without the load. Stafford is well known for wide loads
8.55 Nothing says more British than moving a heavy load with a mug of tea by the controls.
its the way we do things
Got to get your priorities right 😊
Well, us British people can’t go without our tea

You mean everyone else doesn't need such comforts? Gosh! How strange :)
Imagine being stuck behind this the whole way home from work.
That's a long commute!
The other way round would be much worse 😂
I still have more videos of this abnormal load. What shall I do with them next?
@Real George Sukhotin yep upload them becuse i want to see what happing
UPLOAD IT!
The cost of all this must be immense
Please share

The driver of the load must have some mad patience
Keep getting these unusual moves. It's cool watching the police and transport company work together

thought that was my delivery of beer for the weekend
Imagine if it was it would certainly be a high amount of it
Don't mind me, I'm just getting my beer delivery

Love it that the man under the tanker has is brew with him ☕

no doubt has steel toe capped boots on as well
everything within 100 meters would be blasted the f off this earth if that explodes, but hey he’s wearing protection

Correct, but a hard hat might protect his head if he stands up out of his seat and bangs his head on the tank.

Thats a huge chamber for just an O²
an O²? What you talking about? They obviously need a lot of oxygen so travel with more... You don't get "an O²". It's a gas.
Would have been a lot easier if they’d filled it with helium and towed it with a bit of string.

Fantastic video, thanks for sharing!
It sounds like a broken harmonica 😂 you should consider doing some voiceover, I think the commentary on stuff like this would be interesting
Lol, I was thinking the exact thing
David Attenborough voice overs 😂
Wow that's a big oxygen tank😮
Where are they going to take it and what medical facility can store that? It's huge
There are actually 4 tanks due to be delivered over the next few weeks there for a hospital in Warwickshire
ever hope all that storage for one hospital can’t see that somehow
@@SouthWales-ov8ry that's what it says on the contractors website just passing it on
@@SouthWales-ov8ry Yes, the hospital can cope. It has several large tanks that can hold the liquid for quite a while

The hard hat won't help the guy sitting underneath if it collapsed 😂
What medical facility needs a tank that big!!!!
One that's using lots and lots of oxygen for Covid-19 patients
all medical centers need O2 tanks that big so they dont run out of O2

Films can use this sound for their horror scenes.

we urgently need this in India now...
it may be for that
Whats the benefit of this rather than moving it in say 2 half size containers at 10x the speed???
Ah! An expert!!
So you think that a 112.5 tonne tank could be moved significantly quicker? Or even a 56.25 tonne one? 🙄🙄🙄
imagine being the guy riding on the seat placed on the side of the trailer tho.
Must be an epic ride

I have one question. What is all that oxygen for? That's sinister! Some thing's going on. Two more of this? I get goose bumps.
It’s for a large regional hospital. They use a lot of O2. Nothing sinister. Don’t wear a tin foil hat by any chance, do you?

Incredible Biggest Tank, Greetings from Indonesia
What crazy is that the load is only being held by a couple of chains
And they're a gimmick really. They're not stopping that if it rolls

I can’t believe they got that huge long tank around that corner!!

How much that cost will be total ?🤔🤔🤔
I don’t fancy the trailer controllers job, if the load moves, they’re just going to be a red smear.
Legends say, til' this day the oil truck is still on the road..
That's one hell of a job steering from under the tank and at the back
I saw it when it stopped in that residential street near cannock, I think it was the same day this was filmed as it was raining then
Yes that's right! They used that side street just south of Cannock.
I’d like to see America do this!
What’s going on????
I saw one of these passing along the M56 through Ellesmere Port
How? Surely it’s too slow for a motorway!

someone please tell me where tf is this tanker going to
A hospital?

Not seen one that size before. Only seen petrol tankers going.

sure its not a part of an underground facility to have oxygen for a while. just a thought
Do the truckers or the company of the trucks have to pay an additional fee to the escorters or are those services free of charge from the police?
They have to pay and get permission of councils and highways as some utility wires need taking down or propped up. Street furniture removed then reinstated. They have to plan months ahead for it. Sometimes they do a dry run without the load. Stafford is well known for wide loads

How many bloody wheels are there
Look for footage of oil/gas modules being moved to dock , that shit is amazing to watch
why do openreach tag along with this convoy? Incase any telephone poles are damaged?
Lifting low hanging cables and removing low branches as well
