Do you think there's enough room to strap 4 20inch helium climbing sticks in the bedroll. I have a mission platform and helium stick but worry this pack isn't enough. I don't really want to go as big as the hickory tho.
@@averagejackarchery ended up getting the hickory. It seems to be a way better value and alot more ethical for saddle hunting. I felt like if I got the lodi I would have been wishing I got the hickory. 👍
Hey my teacher 👍🏻 I have one problem with my beard bow legit 30 axe to axe 70 pound I have the screws are fully tightened I supposed are close to 70 pound but when i put the bow in the scale i have only 56 pound
usually the cable stretches' a bit when you shoot the bow and over time you loose some poundage so you have to twist them to make them shorter / get them close to the genuine length - how often you have to do this and how fast they stretch depends also on the cable material. However! ... a loss of 14 lbs seems to be extreme - are you sure the bow was never dry fired? ...dryfiring the bow could cause strands to break plus extreme stretch of the cables (and / or the string) and if this happens under the serving it is not immediately noticeable.
I always carry my climbing sticks separately, slung over my shoulder like a rifle. I use a bow carrying sling. Check out my hunting videos to see that method in action!
@@averagejackarchery same here. It’s nice not needing to take off your backpack when you get to the bottom of the tree. Plus, depending on the sticks I just pop them off as I climb and the rest stay on my sling.
Love yours videos and learning a lot one favor can you make one video for serving material Serving material best material and what do you use it for Thanks
Could the 4 skeletor sticks comfortably be strapped to the outside of the pack where your platform is? Or at the bottom of the pack where you’ve stored extra clothing?
Oh definitely. I ran the sticks on the bottom lash straps for one hunt just for kicks and giggles and it worked flawlessly. I just prefer to carry my sticks separately.
Huge fan of the disruption huntworth camo and I have most of their clothing in that camo but I would highly recommend the eberlestock x2, worth every penny. It packs my sticks and platform perfectly plus all my other gear.
...o.k. ....I can't stand it anymore and have to ask: why "thank you for coming OUTSIDE with me"? ....doesn't look "OUTSIDE" for me....something wrong with my eyes?
I really like the versatility and feature set of this backpack. I currently have what amounts to a camouflage school backpack 🎒 and sometimes use Fanny packs in addition. I am looking for a backpack that I could carry my Predator XL platform (that I ordered using your discount from your Tethrd teach and train) and possibly my Hawk Helium 20 in sticks. Part of me also wants a pack with a load shelf to pack out a deer 🦌 since I can hunt in some gnarly steep places in West Virginia. I am sure that you keep your Sling pack in rotation, even with this new pack.

"Hello Everyone! Thanks for coming outside with me toda... *ohshit we're inside* TODAY I'd like to go over gear!" 😂
First heck yeah first time for everything. I win the poducts that Nate liked for 2021 !!!
LOL
Digging the new gear format you're doing.

I think so! Little bulky with any sticks on the bottom of a pack this size. But I don't think it would be cumbersome.

Hows it holding up?? Ibam trying to decide.@@stevenrichards9490
Thanks man! Watched your initial video of this pack so it’s really cool to see your follow up after a season of hard use!

Great show love the dog leash idea definitely going to use that next season..keep up the good work.

I ordered one yesterday. Thanks for the reference.
You ever look at mystery ranch packs?
Yes, and for their price and the style of hunting I do, I think they're overkill for me! So I have never tested one.

Looking forward to your review of the bigger frame style bag.

Would you have a recommendation on a pack which could carry a hang on stand?
Depending on the weight and size of the hangon, I myself would rather add straps to the stand to carry it and lash a pack to the outside of the stand.
Good looking pack definitely got my eye on some hunt worth clothing
How much does it weigh empty .
No idea. But it's incredibly lightweight unloaded.

I've have introduced almost 300 videos in 7 years of TH-cam that way! Just gonna be around a while I guess. 😁
@@averagejackarchery ah, thanks for the feedback, saves me the trip to the optometrist 😂
