It's crazy how you manage to get 3rd place out of every single splatoon 3 player, also splatting the drizzler before it touched the ground was something I've never seen before
ever since joining the overfishing server i've learned so much. literally first overfishing session i had gotten 190 eggs with a team on GFO. me and the team i had for this event just barely got top 5% with 204 eggs but im really proud of it regardless. step by step im getting the hang of it. i only hope to be as cracked as you and other overfishers in the server someday.
Just gonna say this as a very casual splatoon player. This was nothing short of impressive! I find it very fascinating on what pros can do to a lot of games. This was only 3rd place. I wonder what 1st place looks like. it almost feels like I'm watching a TAS because of how smooth and faster those movements and planning were
I already Saw It on Marty's Channel. But I came here to say you Congrats, Brian. It's very, very impressive how good you all are. My score is 240 and I am proud of It. Step by step, i am becoming an Overfisher... I will never be as good as you but I will try my best ajajajaja. And what is the best score? 333 is already so good and perfect I am also curious... How many time did you all dedicate to get that score?
Thank you! The best score was 335, all of top 3 was just one egg apart. I'm amazed at how close it all was We basically played from morning to evening, with regularly spaced out 30-120 min breaks.
@@BrianTheDrummer very impressive... One egg of difference is not that much. You all did incredible. You should be so proud. And I see you too dedicated so much time, even experienced Overfishers like you try It more time than I thought. Thank you for uploading because I could see another POV at the Big Shot cannon... I learnt a lot with all of you, just thank you!
weak aura: kill bosses on shore (leaves eggs too far from basket, time consuming and dangerous to cart) mid aura: lure bosses (brings eggs to more manageable locations, bosses pose a lingering threat) STRONG AURA: _kill bosses on shore_ (gets rid of bosses before they can overwhelm area, cart eggs easily b/c of threats eliminated)
Very impressive work and learned a good amount watching this. I didn't have a team to play with for this event so I was using Pools to find players. Managed to get in the top 20% with a 173 score, which I am happy with.
It's funny to me how the last two goldie spawns get the closest to the basket, as in their path actually goes near the basket while the others mostly stay at a bit of a distance
An incredible performance from all four of you, well deserving of a spot on the leaderboard. I learnt a lot just from watching this, can't wait to see more!
Haha yeah I was amazed too at how well it lined up when we realized it. When Marty (マー) goes up the spiral to lure the Steelheads they make sure to stay close enough so that it stops there for me to kill it like that
oh this is so awesome, i love yalls reactions to your score! I dont think it could have been more perfect, especially with you getting third place. I knew you four would have gotten top three, and what better way to get it! also, funnily enough my team (with a high score of 190) did the same strat for first wave! our splattershot painted the spawn area, and me (charger) and the other two went down to shore. I joined late and replaced someone, so joining in and just being told to follow the blaster and roller whilst the splattershot just hung back was surely a ride, haha.
It's crazy to think that if they managed to get 3 more golden eggs from the most likely over 100+ Goldie wave or that one last Big Shot from the last wave they would've come first.
Congrats, Brian! I'm really looking forward to getting everything explained step by step! .HoweveR. I would also be interested in things like: How did you get this strategy? How exact did you plan it (apart from the usual improvisation)? Meaning when do we throw eggs in? When does the roller or any other specific weapon throw eggs in? .BasicallY. when a specific weapon has to do a certain task or it's more like: "one person does that and one that, we decide as we go".
its identical each wave so the gushers arent randomized like they are in normal games. The entire point of eggstra work is for each wave to be identical and to optimize it
3rd place with 333 eggs.... truly the real Splatoon 3 experience.
Eggsperience
Imagine if someone disconnected at the final second so their record would appear as a 3 man crew.
God damn that is impressive
Tell em Chara!
333! Amazing!!
LITERALLY INSANE. I congratulate you guys!
Also the one egg gap between the top 3...
That griller wave was so clean! Super satisfying 😌
My only question is how did they so expertly handle those dang small fries?! frys? Idk Anyways yes they’re the bane of my existence my gosh 😭😭😭😭

@@reesetit Hi I Guess?
This is inkredible gameplay, wow!! I saw your name on the top scores on Twitter and it's so cool that you got the funny Splatoon 3 number (333)!

mid aura: lure bosses (brings eggs to more manageable locations, bosses pose a lingering threat)

I love how 2nd and 3rd place were 334 and 335
3rd place 333 eggs watching 33 mins after upload lmaooooo

As someone that values competence in Salmon Run I only have one thing to say. This was some good shit.
you guys are a huge inspiration to me, your level of passion talent and dedication is really admirable. congrats on the insane score!!!
Hitting that drizzler shot back into the two big shots was such a cool looking move in that final wave

I watched from your perspective and reyko’s perspective and your techniques are amazing man.
You all DESERVE every bit of praise you're getting! 👏👏👏
beautiful work you guys! Always love watching overfishing gameplay vids, yall worked hard and the results show it. Congrats on placing in the top 3!!!
I KNEW YOU WERE GONNA HAVE LIKE 300 EGGS 😭😭😭
Congrats on the many 3s you got! Wish I had friends to play this with lol
Was looking forward to this optimization breakdown!!
That was absolutely fantastic. Thats putting on a clinic on how its done right there.
watching you guys bully salmonids is therapeutic
This was so much fun to watch! Congratulations on your 3rd place!
I didn’t get to play the eggstra wave but I’m glad to see professionals play it
absolutely incredibly gameplay and skill, so cool to watch. thank you for uploading!
Nintendo must have paid you guys to get 333 eggs to land in 3rd place, it's all just too perfect
Dude, the Perfect number for the perfect place tbh :P
Crazy well done and congrats ^^
and the 555th like frim me
This is crazy. Congrats!
Congrats! Hard work pays off
And I thought Alterna went insane on 3's
*especially After Alterna*
This is really cool. And super satisfying to watch.
Very impressive, great Work :)
impressive focus. fish should have just given up

see this is the stuff id love to learn with a team of people who can play. Be fun id think to learn optimizations.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
I might as well just hang up my slop suit...
Wow!!! congratulations for the hard work!
You guys did alright
3rd place with 333 eggs in splatoon 3 is an honorary 1st place to me lol
2:18 darn bro switched personality in less than 5 seconds💀

This makes my brain so happy
OmG iS tHaT A sPlAtOoN 3 rEfErEnCe!?!?!?!?
Holy cow that's incredible
Everything lined up perfect... this video even had 3.3k views when I clicked on it.
8:43 do you have like allocated people to use bombs bc that bomb use for the maws and flyfish was perfect
Yes! It was always me for the maw, Reyko left and Leia right Flyfish. We had this for every Flyfish in particular
Congratulations on 3rd. And not a more fitting 3rd place.
I love that the worldwide third place finish you never saw a salmonid in wave 1.
Upcoming commentary on our strategies will feature 90% breaking down wave 1
Well. Wave 1 is super easy so that's why.
So him not seeing a salmonid in wave 1 is nothing amazing.
amazing job brain
Let’s gooo 3rd is so impressive!!
3rd place... 333 eggs... in splatoon 3... who couldve seen that coming LMAO
Common Brian W
Its all about speed
What was your sum of best waves?
That would be 340. We've hit a 100 Seeking at some point, as well as a 83 Normal Tide on the last wave.
i only managed to get 3 people for eggstra work and still got 90, not bad but also still sad
what the hell this is SO cool
I wish grillers were nerfed from spawning smallfrys
I wish I had friends :(
Get this score on the 3rd eggstra work
❤congratulations ❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
GG DJ BRIAN !!!
WHAT WERE YOU ALL COOKING ?!
Fishes
Sorry it's totally unrelated to the stunning performance but why is the loading animation orange/blue instead of yellow/blue ? 10:37
That should be because I have the plaza set to the Splatoon 1 plaza, which changes the colours to that of the first game
@@BrianTheDrummer Oh I see! Nice detail ☺keep up the great work guys and congrats for top 3 333!!
How did you know where the Goldie was exactly in the 4th wave? :0 Was it luck or was there a strategy?
its identical each wave so the gushers arent randomized like they are in normal games. The entire point of eggstra work is for each wave to be identical and to optimize it
@@zuun__ Ohh that makes sense, thank you!! I haven't played much of Eggstra so I never knew they weren't randomized there... interesting!
Only top 3..? 😨
Hallo
And how many eggs has the 1st one?
335, there's only a single egg difference between each top 3 team
@@BrianTheDrummer Sheesh...
Noice😎😎
Hacks.
How much eggs did 1st and 2nd get ???
335 and 334 eggs each
