That mudmouth wave is insane! I knew that wait on the stingers> early bigshot strat was gonna matter but we weren’t skilled enough to keep up with spawns so we dropped it 😭
This was probably the easiest Eggstra Work to at minimum finish, though more difficult to route out. I got 210 playing freelance. I was also mainly Squiffer so nice to see the strategies here. Weirdly, despite also being at HL120 during it, some of your Mudmouths spawned in different spots than in mine. The one that I noticed was the fifth spawn at 2:35 - yours was at the beach-side end while mine was on dock-side end (in the same spot where the first Gold Mudmouth was).
Good observation, there's indeed quite a bit going on with Mudmouth spawns. To keep it short, whenever a Mudmouth dies there's an 8 second cooldown that prevents a Mudmouth from spawning on that same location. However, it's possible to kill 2 Mudmouths within 8 seconds, as with the Kraken you saw. As a result there are now 2 spawns unavailable as opposed to 1. The Mudmouth I just killed, and the one before which hasn't finished the 8 second countdown yet because of how fast the last one died. This means the random value used to determine which spawn is next is now picking from a list of less available spawns than normal, thus altering the spawns. There's some more nuance to it, as we observed it wouldn't always work, and some other specific scenarios, as well as all this all being new info in general and very much still in research. But I hope this explains a bit how spawns can be altered. With this in mind our sessions also involved a lot of testing with early kills to see how spawns would change until we had a specific set of kills we felt would bring us the most eggs, keeping in mind consistency in performing it too.
You guys worked like a well-oiled machine. Your coordination is off the charts, to the point where you can can predict eachother's patterns without even communicating most of the time.
That is an amazing run. I was espacially impressed with the mudmouths. Since the start of Splat 3 that I wanted to be better at SR and it was only after the first big run on wahoo world that I found out about overfishing as well as your channel. Since then I met amazing people in the community and I improved alot since I started and it was thanks to you for showing of how to break the limits of this game and being a source of inspiration!
I guess I should've known Leia would be the Dynamo, huh. Yo, the early bomb on the gold mud after the first Kraken was smooth. Overall one of the things with the mud wave for me was finding the balance between how many you can kill and still get the eggs in, so the fact that you got all but 8 eggs is amazing. I really struggled with Waves 3 and 5, felt like all the bosses were obstructions (lids, drizzlers, eels, sticks) or statics and found it hard to stay on top of them. You guys beat me by 104 eggs lol. I was hoping to break 250 but felt decently happy with what I got. Feel like I've improved since the first couple EWs but still have a lot to learn. Hoping I can do a bit more actual overfishing before the next one.
Man I wish I could do stuff like this. I’m confident enough to say I’m good at salmon run, but to get a team comp and be coordinated like this is too hard for me lol
I always have to emotionally prepare myself to watch one of these videos. There’s always the awe, quickly followed by the despair that I will never reach these heights 😂 Question: why do you jump when you shoot the Squiffer? Does it add more fire power like with S-blast?
Seems this was around 7th in the world, highest in western. Here's a video of Ganji, one of the people from the first place record: th-cam.com/video/DbEFdn6dzE0/w-d-xo.html
"I didn't even know I was muted"
''I didn't even know I was muted''

It was an honor to play this Eggstra Work with you guys, thank you so much!
This team makes Eggstra Work look like Eggstra Play O_O
That mudmouth wave is insane!

This was very helpful. Thanks for the info.
I managed to get 244 eggs playing freelance. (Also squiffer)
It was pretty easy, I got 231 within 4 matches with a team
This is an incredible show of skill. Congrats for the score!

Congratulations Brian! Looked at a few vods and everyone pushed the number so high, it's amazing.
You are making this look so easy… 😮
I guess I should've known Leia would be the Dynamo, huh.

So clean! I love to watch how y'all tackle Eggstra Work!

Awesome! Your firepower with squiffer is incredible
So as best I can tell, you guys used 5 Specials during the Mudmouths wave, where were the other 3 used?
I haven't had the chance to experiment with Kraken Vs Mudmouths, I shouldn't be surprised that it can 1-shot them, but I am.
the mudmouths !!! amazing job

I didn't even now that the kraken can do that vs mudmouth, the more you know😊
Holy moly
I wish I was able to have a team like this😢
Nice
this felt humbling, remind me not to play eggstra work with randoms
When is the next eggstra work???
🚢🙏
How do you make the decision whether or not to lure? It seemed like earlier waves you gathered eggs at the spawn points
in wave 1 there are so few boss spawns that you don't have to lure
U don't lure too often in low evp nor high evp at least in fl
Were you #1 in the world? If not do you know who was?

Honestly Marooner's Bay is my least favorite map for Salmon Run
beated the world record
