Thank you for watching Marko. Glad you enjoy my content. Agreed, there is a lot of snobbery in Facebook groups, and on watch forums. This is why I don't use them. I have reviewed everything from a 10 Euro Casio F-91W to a 20,000 Euro Rolex Daytona on my channel. I can afford a Rolex but don't want to own one now; due to the brand image, and the Rolex AD waiting list nonsense. I only own 2 pieces now, my Black Bay 58, and this PD-1692. Unlike many Rolex fanboys I don't down on collectors that own homage watches; such as Pagani Design, or San Martin. The branding on a watch doesn't matter to me. I am enjoy wearing my PD-1692 just the same as I would be wearing a Rolex Explorer. I don't care what Rolex fanboys think of my PD-1692 as I didn't buy it to seek validation from them I own an approved watch. My advice to collectors is buy the watch that gives you feel good factor, and you enjoy wearing. Don't be influenced by other collectors and buy the watch they approve of to seek validation. This is something I like about owning my Black Bay 58, and PD-1692; it sends a clear message to other collectors I am not a Rolex fanboy seeing validation from other Rolex fanboys. If a collector is happy wearing a PD-1661 or SN019-G, good for them. I don't look down on them because they can't afford a Rolex Submariner Date. The reality is the Submariner Date is a 2000 Euro watch, not worth 10,000 Euro. When I made my PD-1661 versus Submariner Date comparison video I stated that; the Submariner Date is a 2000 Euro watch in reality. Of course this made me a target for hatred from Rolex fanboys that are unable to look at a Submariner Date objectively. Pagani Design make good homages watches under 150 Euro. San Martin make good homage watches under 500 Euro. The reality is its not worth paying 14,000 Euro for a Submariner Date on the grey market, as its just a 2000 Euro watch. Regards, #WR4K

I have this watch and there is only one reservation. The bezel seems to be made out of plastic and mine has a tiny crack along its width. Now. Only I get close enough to see it and at this price I'm not complaining about it. Unfortunately I would not feel confident wearing this one as a beater and save it for special occasions for which it is absolutely fine. It's still a lovely watch and worth it at the price.
I have this watch for a week now. Incredible what value you get for the money. Case, dial and even the bracelet are very good. Only downside for me is the clasp, very sharp and difficult to operate.
Besides the minute markers 05, 10 etc on the watch face, is there any difference from the V1 to the V2. Cant decide which to go with. Love your reviews!

Congratulations Kenneth. Excellent choice. Wear yours in good health. No, I haven't owned one for over a year. The NH35A is a reliable, well proven workhorse movement; so will last for several years. Regards, #WR4K
I have a new watch with a NH35a movement. When my watch is a horizontal position, the beat error is 0.1ms with dial facing down and 4ms with the dial facing up. What do you think about the possible cause of this discrepancy/problem, and can the issue be solved?
The beat rate of movements varies depending on position. This is why chronometer accuracy is tested with the movement in 5 positions, rather than just 1. The friction within the moving parts changes depending on the position. For example changing from horizontal to vertical changes the load on the jewels, and gears. Can the issue be solved? No. This is normal variation for an NH35A movement. Regulating the movement in 5 positions won't improve the beat rate. It will only improve the accuracy in seconds per day. Dirty lubricant, and wear in the moving parts, can affect the beat rate. Therefore breaking down a movement, ultrasonically cleaning the parts, then building it back up with clean lubricant, and regulating it; can improve both the accuracy and beat rate. However your movement is running with specification so this isn't worth doing. Regards, #WR4K
@@watchreviews4k Thanks. In all my other watches, I noted that the beat error and rate are roughly the same, dial up or dial down, that's why I am asking. I am disappointed with this specific NH35A movement / watch since I have been able to regulate well a Paulareis movement in a 35€ watch and all my other NH35A watches work perfectly well.
In my experience NH35 and 38 movements are vastly over-hyped by reviewers. The Chinese clones are even worse. The longer the power reserve the worse the accuracy. The fact that they are automatic also makes the movement and thus the watch overly thick. I have a collection of automatic watches but only because they are not offered with quartz movements.

I wouldn't wouldn't get too excited about 200m water resistance. Pagani will write on the dial whatever they need to copy Rolex, I doubt it is actually 200m waterproof.
Thank you for watching. You are mistaken. The Rolex Explorer is 100 metres water resistant. The water resistance isn't stated on the dial (see my Rolex Explorer review below). Pagani Design pressure test their watches to 200 metres. Regards, #WR4K th-cam.com/video/esA6-s9c9e4/w-d-xo.html
A screw down caseback and screw down crown would pretty much take care of what most anyone needs in terms of WR and may well do what is on the face if appropriate seals and gaskets are used. The original Rolex is only rated to 100m.
Come on Pagani, do a 36mm meccaquartz version ot this brilliant watch !!!! 🥺🙏 We are almost 1/4 of the way through the 21st century why are you sticking with 18th century technology 🧐
Nice, also with a hidden date disk, you run the risk of stuffing up the movement by accidentally moving the date wheel without knowing as they usually don't align the date change over to midnight on watches without a date window... I hope they'll stick with the shield with no name for brand... less is more! I hope they'll mod the snow flake version too now!
Thank you for watching. There is no risk of damaging the NH35A when changing the date between 10.00pm and 4.00am. See video below of a 7S26 which is a similar design to see why. Regards, #WR4K th-cam.com/video/9EuHG1bYPKs/w-d-xo.html

Hi, i saw this watch on sale by your channel on ebay , is it really you? With so many scammers everywhere i just wanted to be sure before i bid on it again
Two San Martin Agents; Jassy Hu (Watchdives), and Jason (San Martin Official Store), accidently sent me the same watch to review; a blue SN008-G. This caused conflict between the aforementioned, as they both wanted me to review their stock on my channel. Liao Jiaming (San Martin Owner) became aware of the conflict, and asked me to choose one of the Agents. I chose Watchdives as they stock a plethora of brands, rather than just San Martin. San Martin Official Store then stopped supplying me with watches. Watchdives have sent me some San Martin; however the wholesale price per piece is much higher than other brands they retail; therefore they prefer to promote other brands with higher profit margin per piece. The prices the Agents are allowed to retail at are set by Liao Jiaming, as is the wholesale price per piece. This prevents Agents undercutting each other in competition selling at a lower retail. The accident of both Agents sending me the same watch to review happened as the Agents don't communicate with each other, they only communicate with Liao Jiaming the owner. Regards, #WR4K
Same god awful bracelet. Like you point out the quick adjust is just too stiff on my 'Air king' and the spring bars are so difficult to get to they are practically impossible to use. Its an example of the Chinese copying a design without any consideration of the intended function. I threw it in the bin where it belongs and fitted a rubber strap.
I recommend the Bergeon 6767F spring bar tool (see link below). This has a fine 2 prong fork which fits inside the slot inside the micro adjuster. I found removing a screw from the bracelet to open it gives better access. Once the spring bar has been depressed, and the micro adjuster tilted, one can then prise under the other end to disengage it from the body; then slide it to the next pair of dimples. It is fiddly, however using the aforementioned tool and method it makes it easier. Regards, #WR4K www.amazon.co.uk/Package-Bergeon-6767-F-Watch-Spring/dp/B072FRJ92R/ref=sr_1_2?crid=AF4GGDPUNNSO&keywords=bergeon%2B6767f&qid=1663608319&sprefix=bergeon%2B6767f%2Caps%2C72&sr=8-2&th=1
I agree the bracelet is sharp and cheaply made. I couldn't move the micro adjustment spring bars - they're impossible to reach and I don't want to have to buy a special tool. Happy with the watch itself though. If anyone finds a third party suitable metal bracelet that fits i'd be glad to hear about it. Thanks for this video review of the watch.

Now if only they would do it in a 34 to 36mm case...
(and with a (whisper it) a mecaquartz movement) 😱
Yes. I wouldn't have dumped mine if it had a quartz movement.
38mm please
Great review, interesting watch, but cant seem to find a v2 for sale
Pagani Design Official Store haven't listed the V2 yet, although they do have stock. Message them when ordering and specify the V2. Regards, #WR4K
@@watchreviews4k thanks
How accurate is the watch?
I state the accuracy in my review David. Regards, #WR4K
+10 Secs/Day
I wouldn't wouldn't get too excited about 200m water resistance.
Regards, #WR4K

We are almost 1/4 of the way through the 21st century why are you sticking with 18th century technology 🧐
Thank you for watching. Regards, #WR4K
Regards, #WR4K

I just bought mine and slapped a leather band on it.... for only 60 bucks, first and maybe only pagani design (possibly get one more but I like just 5 watches) and it pops
Hi, i saw this watch on sale by your channel on ebay , is it really you? With so many scammers everywhere i just wanted to be sure before i bid on it again
Yes Ian, "watchreviews4k" is my eBay account. Good luck winning the watch. Regards, #WR4K
Thanks im really going to try, too bad about the taxes, i live in the UK so yeah taxes..
Nice watch, worth consideration
Too big for me. Looks good on a larger wrist than mine though. Like that they got it so thin.
Same here, I wish manufacturers offered more watches in 34 to 36mm cases.
What's your wrist size?
Hey, can you review some more San Martin watches?
Thank you for watching Jeff. No, San Martin don't send me watches for review. Regards, #WR4K
@@watchreviews4k why not?!
@@watchreviews4k huh. Interesting fair enough
Is the shiny bezel made of plastic? 😊
Stainless steel. Regards, #WR4K
Lume?
See the lume test in my review. Regards, #WR4K
Nice!
Only for bigger wrists...again 😔
Thank you for watching. This piece will fit a 6-7" wrist, however the 49mm lug-to-lug measurement is best suited to a 7-8" wrist. Regards, #WR4K
@@watchreviews4k I agree, I hope more brands find their way to 38mm watches in the future
Man check out the military range from baltany, I wish I could wear those
Why so much whining, not even Rolex gets it right at much higher price.
Thank you for watching Frank. Check out my Rolex Explorer review below, it may interest you. Regards, #WR4K

First world problems Frank..... first 🌍 problems! 😅😂
Regards, #WR4K

I had same problem with bracelet but you can actually message pagani, they were pretty fast in responding sometimes
