Wow. You are experiencing a lot of major life changes right now, Nathan. Major changes, even *good* changes, can be a challenge for neurotypicals, let alone those on the autism spectrum! I'm sure you don't need this reminder, but I'm going to offer it anyway: use your support system to help you when you need it. Routines are a godsend. I understand your trepidation over Sylvia's retirement and your new service dog. Perhaps the training center will have some ideas on easing the transition for you, Jess and the dogs. (I don't know if walks with you and the new dog and Jess with Sylvia would help you all or not. It might be something to discuss.) As for the wedding, I wish both you and Jess joy and happiness in your life together Your love and positive spirits will make it so!
seems like you are doing a great job preparing Sylvia for retirement! it sounds like it's difficult for you, so all the more props for going through with it so consequently. also, congrats! hope you had a lovely wedding and holidays now =)
Retiring a dog is really hard. A good tip though, when my dog retired, she’s become destructive and gets into stuff because she never knew the rules of staying home alone, so that’s something to watch out for as Sylvia retires. Service dogs are so used to going places sometimes they don’t know what to do with themselves when they’re home alone.
Congrats to the both of you!🤗
Thanks :).
Congrats on your marriage!! Good luck in team training!
Thanks it was wonderful. :).

Poor Sylvia 🤧
Yes I know I’m commenting late on this video. I’m still catching up.
You're good. Things turned out well for her.
Going through this myself. It’s tough, and he doesn’t understand.
