Yeah they're 'ok'. Had a couple drives randomly fail in the past. Would definitely NOT recommend for data integrity. By comparison : WD_BLACK SN770 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD, M.2 2280 NVMe SSD, Gaming Solid State drive, PCIe Gen4 NVMe, High Performance Gaming drive, Read speeds up to 5150 MB/s, Black - for a little cheaper. £97 atm on Amazon ($85 or so).
As a secondary drive in your PC that is a GREAT price for 2TB and anything over 3500 / 2500 speeds your not really going to notice to be honest. You could go big and get the 7000/6500 drives but for the money you do not need it .
I bought the most dirt cheap generic 1tb nvme & its also below spec speed for my ps5 and its been great for years. Xbox are absolute clowns for choosing proprietary nvme expansion. Wouldn't mind jumping to a 2tb expansion someday but i dont use the console enough to justify
@@frogboyx1Gaming I'm just joking around lol, it was funny. FYI - there are free sites you can go to that will sound out foreign words for you so you can at least have an idea of what it is supposed to sound like. I use them all the time, no shame it in lol. I don't speak Chinese either.
no it's not worth it, i regret buying fanxiang S770 2tb version for my ps5, last jan 12 2024,, now after 11 months become corrupted for no reason, no power interruptions, while im downloading a new game ps5 suddenly turn off then it won't boot up,, until i remove the SSD,,
I used Fanxiang nvme ssd 1 tb in my nephew's pc builds. No complaints so far.
Awesome
I have two 4tb models from them I bought off ebay. I use one in my rog ally and so far no issues.
Hell yeah that's good to hear.
Nice video. Definitely worth a try for this NVME
It works great
Thanks for this video, I will be looking into this one I am in need of a cheaper 2nd M.2
98 bucks for 2tb is awesome.
Good review bro. I can't wait for you to review the PS5 Pro.
Coming soon!
