Literally a more faithful adaptation than the Amazon Prime fanfic. Awesome job! When listening to the audio book I look up pics from the book wiki so I can better visualize what is happening. Still the most epic line "Asha'man, Kill" - when I heard that I literally yelled "HELL YA!!"
You know the Asha’man are wrecking some mofo’s, when the guy who’s been kept in a dark cramped box for days, taken out only to be beaten/shown his girlfriend being abused, and given just enough water to not die, is screaming by the end “Stop It! Stop it, Taim!” The Asha’man slaughtered so many Shaido, Perrin is shown thinking that you could walk across the exploded meat for “farther than the eye can see” without touching bare ground. People focus on the Earth-explosions the Asha’man create beneath the Shaido, because Jordan isn’t a gore-hound, so he only mentioned the weaves that “Wrenched and tore at bodies ‘til they were nothing but steaming meat” in passing. Choosing to repeat and be much more descriptive concerning the other weaves used. That creative choice can make it a little hard to understand why Rand is yelling for mercy on behalf of his enemies. The Asha’man weren’t simply and efficiently destroying the enemy, they were reveling in the slaughter of warriors most “wetlanders” have been raised to believe are the literal benchmark for remorseless lust for violence. “Vicious as a black-eyed Ariel” being a saying everywhere outside the Waste since the Aiel War. Had Rand not called a halt, there’s every reason to believe the Asha’man would have gone on targeting the backs of fleeing Shaido, until the scattered survivors finally made it out of range. Had it been ME the Loyalist Aes Sedai treated as they treated Rand, I would have Stilled the lot of them on the spot, because I’d have needed to lash out AT LEAST that much, not to order them Stilled and *crucified* Rand’s won’t hurt a woman neurosis gets old when these mustache twirlingly evil Reds/Aes Sedai who go along with them reappear onscreen. It’s like Rand is incapable of understanding this known refusal to harm women of his is the very thing that invites the many attacks by women he experienced. WoT is one of my five favorite series, but the characters can make me crazy sometimes. A mark of good writing, I suppose, when you get that invested.
Рerfectly well! The battle of Dumai's Wells is one of my favorite moments in the book. I liked the great animation and dynamics in that video. Waiting for new videos!
My favorite parts were when Perrin asked the wolves for help or when Dobrain (I think) tries to subdue Sulin after she finds out Rand was taken or Rands conversations with himself in the box. The battle at the wells was good but all the other little things leading up to the battle was just amazing. Except Gawyn...
Great job with Dumai's wells. This is one of my favourite battles in Wheel of Time. The other two being Rodel Ituralde's Defense of Maradon, and the ultimate showdown of tactics between Mat and Demandred in the Last Battle. I hope you can show those other two to us one of these days.
You mean the second one from the left? She's a gray, don't pay attention to the dress, look at the shawl! Aes Sedai use many colors on their clothing, their shawls are what give away their ajahs.
@@Luinedhel ok you are right, i didnt pay attention to the shawls. After watching the promo stuff for the TV show a million time i start to see the color of the dress as their shawls. But its tricky because all other aes sedai in your vid have matching dresses to their shawls.
Άνδρα μη ένεπε μούσα πολύτροπον, The man who has many ways, or many behaviours? I am Greek I learnt this at school and damn I still can’t figure out the proper translation…
@@Luinedhel the problem is it says Polytropos has two meanings in modern Greek one is someone that has many ways, like he can find many ways in a situation, the second is many behaviours as in a persons behaviours, and later on says about Polytaksidemenos which can be translated many-traveller as a person who has traveled a lot…. Anyway, I like the video and wheel of time as per moment I am in book 10, and reading on….
Great analysis and animated depiction for one of my favorite scenes in the Wheel of Time series, however, I think there is a slight mistake. Didn't the Ashaman appear from inside the circle that the Shaido Aiel created rather than from outside their circle?
"..plus Loial." ❤❤ This is great, thank you!
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!
Yes, I liked that. This army... That army.... The other army....
...Plus Loial. 😂 He's an army of 1
Loial is the best.
I really appreciate the time you put into this. It's one of the most decisive chapters in the entire series
Thanks for watching! I hope you find my other battle breakdowns useful too. I'm working on more WoT content😉
Knee to the Dragon Reborn if you will be knelt! Such a great breakdown. My favorite chapter in the series.
Thanks! I am in the process of making more battle breakdowns.

Great video! I'd really enjoy a similar breakdown for the battle at the end of Winter's Heart when you get there. Keep up the good work!
I'm halfway through the path of daggers. Wait for me😊🙏
Probably my favorite battle of the series.
Рerfectly well! The battle of Dumai's Wells is one of my favorite moments in the book.

Thanks! Already working on some more.
Impressive! We will watch your career with great interest.
Thanks, let's keep the fantasy literature community growing!
Very nicely done. You take fan recreations to whole new levels. Bravo!
Very well done. I especially love how you said "asha'man kill"; it gave me the shivers.
Thanks! Believe it or not, I recorded that during work, and I had to record it many times because people kept interrupting me😂
My god what a wonderful video, this is one of my favourite battles in the books, very well done! Cant wait to hear and watch more of your content.
Thanks! It was a great deal of effort, so it's appreciated.
Nicely done my friend. Looking forward to more.
Good job
Just found your channel, really well done content. You earned my sub.
Thank you very much! More videos coming!
I recently found your channel and i love these videos
This was great to watch! It's one thing to read it but another to see it! Props to you!
Glad you liked it!
LOVE It, please last Battle next❤
Nice work mate :)
This is really high quality stuff, bro.
Great video on the most brutal imaginary battle I can think of
"Plus Loial" fuck I lol'd that is basically Loial's arc in the show. "Here we have our heroes doing some stupid shit... Plus Loial"
Jordan could have shown some ogier rage passages in this chapter.
Thank you.
This is a really neat video, keep it up!
This is cool
Fantastic job!
Thank you for the compliment on the accented voice over 😊
Well done! And aguante Di María
Aguante!

Rand alone in the chest was my absolute favorite bit of writing in the sequence. But the visual of the meat grinder and Rand’s intensity was just 👌🏻
We come…
I was so hoping you'd do a part 2!!! And here it is!!!
May you find water and shade... And shelter from the lightnings!
@@Luinedhel Sleep and wake
Fantastic job with this.
Thanks, I'm working on some more.
nice its much butter to see it animated
Thanks!
gracias pro el video!
Me alegra que te haya gustado!
Battle of the Two Rivers please! This was great.
Eventually I'll do it too!
This is really well done!!
Thanks!
Better than the TV show.
Watching a dog in the park drop a load is better than the TV show.
This is a great video!
Thanks!
Great video 👏 well explained.
Thanks! More WoT battles coming very very soon!
Great video.
i pray you finish the series. i really love your work.
I'm burning through The Path of Daggers. I'll try to do it as soon as I can
This is awesome!!!
Thanks!
Good stuff my fellow A’shaman
The Shaido can't stand up to us
Great stuff - cant wait for next battle breakdown
Thank you! I'm reading "A crown of swords" right now, I hope the next battle is not so far away.
20000 killed in a few minutes while the highest combat death we have is 48000 in a day I think
This was truly a slaughter.
Very neat
The is fantastic!! You easily earned a sub from me.
Thanks!!!
Excelente, como siempre! Muy claro.
Y aguante DiMaría!!

Cant wait for Perrin vs Masema vs the Shaido
I'll do every battle I can
Rooting for you!
@@sowpmactavish immensely grateful
Niceeee!
Es un insulto, golpéalo viejo, golpéalos a todos!

Buenisimo!
Muchas gracias!
Love your videos. I thought it was 7 not 13 who took Rand.
Muy buen video
Gracias!
Buen video. Saludos desde Uruguay.
Gracias! Saludo a los charrúas

This is awesome! Well you do the final battle as well? 😀
Yes, of course! But I'm still reading the books. As soon as I can, I'll make it.

Too bad how Aes Sedai fought each other instead of black ajah in their ranks... However "Asha man, kill!".
The animation looks great, but I can't understand the narration.
Very nice.. But please never use the likeness of the people on the TV show again. Especially egwene
Have in mind that I uploaded this video on September 2021, when the 1º season of the show hadn't yet aired.
Great analysis and animated depiction for one of my favorite scenes in the Wheel of Time series, however, I think there is a slight mistake. Didn't the Ashaman appear from inside the circle that the Shaido Aiel created rather than from outside their circle?
It's not explicitly stated where the gateways were opened exactly, but I put them outside because otherwise they couldn't be seen clearly on screen.
Disappointed with ShowEgwene picture not gonna lie...
Well, be sure to check out the book animated summaries. She's depicted bookwise there😊
Using the amazon likeness of Egwene? No.
You could have at least made Egwene look like she does in the books...
Feel free to watch my WoT book summaries. She's depicted bookwise there.
Dark hair and dark eyes. Already does.
