What are you planning on doing with the new Macros tool in Pro7.6?

Being able to setup my stage display, audience look, and clear at the first of every worship song is going to be a dream come true. Now if only there was a way to add a macro to the first of every slide in a certain Library....

Creating a set of actions for each type of Presentation. JPG, Video, Sermon, Song, Announcements. :) Does the order of actions matter? For instance - put a clear in first? If so, would be nice to be able to rearrange the actions in the macro with a drag and drop.

      I think they're basically simultaneous.

Hello Paul, thanks for the macro teaching. However, you never activated the macro so I can see how it work. Please do a part two and activate the macro so we can see how it is supposed to work.

It just does what you tell it to do. So, if you click (or drag it to a slide, or set it to start when Pro7 starts, or set it to start with a calendar function), it does whatever you have in the macro. It's just a preset. A way to save tasks you do repeatedly.

Macros are, of course, an awesome addition to ProPresenter. But please keep two things in mind: The more complicated your setup, the harder it is to find the problem when something breaks. 2 - you aren't going to be there every time the setup needs to be used, nor will you be around forever. Whatever you do with ProPresenter, you need to teach to at least one other person and document it as clearly as you can. Having to reinvent all the pieces and parts on Sunday morning before the service because something fritzed out and you don't know how to fix it.... not fun at all.

Making sure people know how ProPresenter works is literally what I do for a living.
