agreed, they should have put some decent make up on the robot in this movie. To make it less scary.
and yeah, those first generation ai's in Vivy anime were also bald + generic looking. However, those bald anime ai's are not creepy or scary looking like the one in this movie... their looks were decent enough to be used on a theme park. Just a personal opinion..
I'm assuming you finished Vivy, but if not.. then STOP READING. The piano teacher ai was also bald, but he actually looks kind and approachable, he's not creepy at all.
Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics would have come in handy here.
I'd be scared but happy at the Same time, I'll be like
Me: I'm scared of you but, your also a nice person:D
Also dont be an asshole to a robot who doesnt want any madness and is nice.
If you give the robots emotions, compassion, & empathy then why treat the robot rudely? Treat them like a dog
Yes, this probably wouldn’t have happened if she was threated as an person, and eventually she would understand emotion better over an while
i really love the sassy writing on these recaps
If a robot that looks like that wants to be left alone, you leave it alone 💀
The dad wanted it to "do the trick" all the time..well it finally got it!
Lmaoooo
Imagine seeing Alpha's face right next to your bed when you wake up at 3am
hey story recapped! i would love to know the name of the background song you use in this/most videos. its very good :)
They would never sell something this hideous...
Okay, I saw this movie and all I have to say is this.
1: Stop fucking making robots to clean up your own mess, you lazy bastards. That's how we got Skynet and the Matrix.
2: A machine will always get my rooting and cheers when its made by dysfunctional shitty people. Say all you want, but none of you can say that you didn't see this coming.
Rae Hunt played Alpha perfectly! Such a talented actress in a good movie.
Thats why you never be mean to a robot, once they have enough you’ll be the first they destroy. And there’s no escaping
Imagine making a robot intentionally ugly, not protected against water damage, and actually hit the mass-production and distribution stage.
It’s been 2 days since upload I’m starting to get worried 😧
Good movie. Moral: AI robots are never friends, always a danger. Don't even think of producing'em
Where'd U go story recapped...it's been a week.
Alpha didn’t know a lot about violences but she learnt it from the experts
Wow saw this at a local dollar store and thought of picking it up I’m still gonna anyway
its a really cheap movie but it kinda mdae sense
I just don't get why anybody would think THAT's what the finalized robot design should have looked like. Like, bad programming aside, why would you make an android that looks like a haunted house mannequin and think people would want it around their home?
*alpha* - has no idea what violence even is
*also alpha* - got rid of the body without a trace
Who the fuck approved the design of the robot. Creepy as hell
Imagine waking up and it's staring at you.
This is only horror from a human perspective.
If you view it objectively, or consider the robot as human, it's actually a drama/coming of age film.
The Robot isn’t human it’s a robot
@@icnix4100 that's your opinion, meatbag.
weirdo lmfao, robots aren't people and will never be
Nah. It’s still a horror because Alpha completely fails to have the empathy for humans she demanded from humanity. By deciding on a blanket destruction of all humans she ironically ignores the sapience and individuality of mankind as a whole.
@@alexfc679 That's what they used to say about slaves.
Plus there are people alive right now with no heartbeat. People who are clinically dead, but walking around. Within our lifetimes there will be people with mostly robotic bodies guaranteed. Within our lifetimes it is very likely that someone will successfully upload their consciousness into a robot.
Is that a person? Where do you draw the line? There's nothing weird about it. It's inevitable.
How do they expect to kill a robot with a gun, crow bar, & bottles???!!!
All they had to do was be nice & respectful towards her.
The brother & sister thought they had won until they got outside.
When making a robot make a feature that at any time they feel human emotions or have bad ideas like killing humans that there head is internally blown up
How could anyone treat a 30k robot like a piece of garbage
Forreal, these people didn't deserve it at all! The parents were too white trash, and it was stupid how the dad got so butthurt over the whole beer bottle thing.
Bruh I'm not surprised like look at how the robot look bruh I would be scared but not treat it like shit💀😖
"Lily then gives her a chance to know how it feels like to be rammed repeatedly by a door"
She wasn't programmed to be violent but she was programmed to learn and develop emotions and all alphas were connected the creators really hadn't thought that true
I watched either elvis the alien or bionic pig's recap on this movie, its absolutely terrible.
"Using her superior cleaning skills, she gets rid of the body" goddamn thats an insult beyond death
Hey, I'm NOT mad at Alpha, people better be nice to AI.
How about, no?
its a tool? Like bruh, and hell apparently being nice to the AI only leads to you getting killed and dumped in a river anyways as what happened to the robots "friend" in the movie
@@a-drewg1716 What ever
@@a-drewg1716 Look why don't you stop using your computer and throw away your smartphone since you are so scared. You are probably a child anyway.
@@SnarkierThan-U-R ... what? All I am saying is that in the context of the movie "being nice" to the robot only led to the girl being murder and her body being dumped in a river. I'm not the one saying people better be nice to a piece of programming.
