The pregnancy scene was a gag in the credits. The movie Rosali itself took the subject of robots and AI rather seriously (for a romcom) and did a better job than anything I've seen in the Hollywood AI/robot genre.
Well, things are going that road since women are brainwashed nowdays about anything related to pregnancy by wokeism, feminism. Who can't even define what is a woman.
This movie is one of best movies of the 2020s. An Armenian film has beat anything Hollywood has put out recently. It's definitely the best movie ever in the AI/Robot genre. While it's a comedy, Rosali is also a film about what love really is. The pregnancy part is just a vignette in the credits. Most of the viewers would have left the theater by that point. By the way, can Americans actually access this film at all? It's a big hit outside of the "west" and dubbed in Russian, but I'm not sure if it's dubbed in English. You have to try to see this somehow. I am very sure it will be remade by a big Hollywood studio that paid the Armenians for the rights. Think of a big American comedian like John Candy. Let me repeat: the pregnancy scene was a gag in the credits. The real and poignant story had already played out with her taking a hail of bullets to save the "loser's" life.
@mcnoneya I just really liked it, having watched it online after I saw this recap clip. And I was irked by the misconception about the admittedly dumb vignette in the credits about her getting preggie
An Armenian comedy. Thus the reference to "drams" - their currency. This would also explain why it seems devoid of the political correctness that infects Hollywood films today. This is a movie that might offend feminists, I suspect. The country has only about 2.5 million people, smaller than many cities.
Yes, it puts Armenia on the map as a place to make good movies. The production values and everything were top notch. I really liked this movie. Normal feminists will like the way she takes a hail of bullets at the end to save the "loser" she loves. Or maybe not. They might say a man isn't worth a woman protecting him with her "life."
Are there other good movies like this from Armenia? I was shocked at the quality of the filming, the cast and the script-writing. It beats anything I've seen out of Hollywood recently
@ unfortunately, such movies are pretty rare, I usually love older Armenian (Soviet) mostly. But as good movies, I can recommend you uhh… Monsieur Aznavour, The Line (Kyanq u Kriv), Earthquake 2016, Amerikatsi, The Men, Mimino, Run Away or Get Married, The Color of Pomegranate, Mayrig, idk. What kind of movies do you actually wanna watch? Whatever I recommended are pretty different.
Rosali from 2023 - Really worth seeing in full. 95% of the recaps are good enough for me not to see the original. But this is one where you have to see the whole thing. The pregnancy gag scene was just something light hearted in the credits after the real story ended.
It was all fun and games until the robot got pregnant. That didn’t just exceed suspension of disbelief, it blew right past it.
right lol
@@martinedwards2004 oh I see it now I did not see it at first my bad I should really wear my glasses when I'm reading something
