My friends still deadname me and call me she/her, I'm going to get the courage to tell them I don't go by thoes anymore and constantly correct them. If not, I'll just stop hanging out with them. Its scary being like this. I'm also going to ask teachers to call me by he/him and Jace. My school starts in August 14th. Wish me luck D:

That would honestly piss me off. I get very protective of others and hate bullies cause I got bullied my whole life so I probably woulda lost my shit and defended her

People don’t become transgender after becoming an adult or something, they’re born that way. I have read around a dozen books on this topic, and so I know that the majority of transgender people know that they are a different gender from 3-6 years of age. Leave the kids alone; don’t harass them, don’t hurt them, just allow them to live as their gender. If they change their mind, they change their mind. Don’t force them all the way into Narnia just because you don’t think they’re “old enough” to know who they are. -from a cis dude, because apparently people think that you have to be trans to support trans people.
I’m in a catholic school so not gonna happen. Some of teachers already hate me for having short hair and wearing boy clothes. And I have no friends in that school and I am just going to wait because I don’t want anymore bullying cause don’t wanna repeat that.

I'm in 8th grade and pretty open about being female to male trans and my friends respect that but I've been using the girls locker rooms and it makes me super uncomfortable. But i am going to ask my PE teacher soon that i would like to change in the boys locker room, wish me luck :) Update: I have been switched to the boy locker room but can only change after every one is out of the locker room. It gets annoying because I have to go to my next class quickly. I've also been bullied by a lot of the boys in my PE class and it has gotten so bad that I've started to relapse and dread changing out. I got sad that they are all transphobic to me but not my other FtM friend. I've recently moved back to the girls locker room and it sucks, i feel vary dysphoric and uncomfortable but it's better then being bullied :)
I recommend asking the teachers to let you change in your own space, which isnt a locker room. (Idk if this advice is helpful to you anymore, but still saying it)
I am scared of coming out as ftm to my family. I don't care what other people say but it's different when my mom tells me those things. I have dropped lots of hints and talked about gender in general but they aren't that open with it. They don't mean harm but this is my heart that I'm laying out to them so it hurts the more to hear them not taking me serious. I've thought about transitioning since I was 11. @@justsomeguy5318 I have talked to doctors and puberty blockers will later in life cause a woman or a man not to experience orgasm and sometimes for women they later on are in pain so much that they have to get a hysterectomy. I don't know how you can make this claim that you start puberty later but that's not the case. It does more harm than good. I urge you to do you research on this matter as I have. I don't post things that I haven't done research on first .
@@ethanpeaco1 I've done my own research (though I haven't talked to any doctors about it) and I couldn't find anything that talked about that. But I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, and you're still ignoring a factor, that being the harm going through puberty can cause for a person with gender dysphoria. It can cause body image issues and trans people will often have to go through surgeries to be comfortable with themselves because of things caused by puberty. And trans people who take blockers will be aware of the negative effects they can cause, so they can choose to take blockers or not to take blockers if the bad outweighs the good for them.

Do you know how many kids have changed their minds before it's too late? Quite a few. I don't care as an adult what people do. It's the kids I worry about. Social Media and the Internet can give people the confidence required to come out. People online can share stories of how they were accepted by people who previously did not understand and how their lives are going. You are born trans, just like how you are born gay, black, white, Autistic, etcetera. You don’t become trans once you’re an adult, mate.
