I never understand why people say Boba is alive just because he is in Battlefront. The only thing that really shows it is in one of the trailers he says "that won't happen again" when he flies over the sarlacc but that is just a trailer. Plus Greedo is in Battlefront and can be played as on post ANH maps and we don't say he's alive.
amiiboManReviewer Just because he's in battlefront? no because it's been hinted at repeatedly in the aftermath books though, not to mention the popular demand...
Trey Blake the way I would see it playing out is sometime after Luke disappears, one of Lando's workers mets him and states something like this: "Years ago I was cleaning out the solid bin on tube 15 and found this .... It think this might have belong to they friend of yours .. Skywalker. Here". From there Lando is involved some mission or questionable activity near Maz castle and takes it to Maz either nobly for safekeeping or Maz offers him a price he can't refuse. Maybe Jabba's kin have sent out a bounty hunter for Lando and he needs the cash to pay them off. I can see Maz in the later scenario saying "what have you got of value?" and Lando reluctantly saying "only this but if I sell it to you you can't sell it again! I will come back and pay you for it or one day the rightful owner will come for it!"
well stuff in past episodes does effect future episodes but an arc that is say 3-5 episodes in a row could be really great, however I think Disney is against that wanting a more episodic series as that is easier for kids to watch.
Daniel S, you've asked this what, 5 times now? Excuse my french, but no shit it would... The episodes feel so darn rushed, and arcs would definitely help.
Luke Davis Just curious about what Alex thinks about it. One could argue that Rebels stories should be contained within a single episode to make it easier for those who aren't really Star Wars fans to keep up with. There will always be more than one opinion on something.
In the Rogue One Trailer, during the space battle with the X-Wings, you can see a Hammerhead Cruiser among the Nebulon-B frigates, do you think thats the Phoenix Cell? And do you think the Ghost (the ship) could cameo?
Thank you for always formatting these videos so that we can get your impressions without spoil and clearly marked spoiler sections. I used to avoid your book reviews fearing that. I am halfway through Catalyst and couldn't help but check out the beginning of your review.
If you had been the Emperor right after ANH and faced with doing something after the Death Star's destruction, what would you have done? Would you have gone on to build a second Death Star, or would you have done something else?
For the next Q&A I would like to know why it is Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru don't recognize 3PO and, R2; from having previously owned 3PO a little over 20 years before A New Hope and, having seen R2 and knowing he once belonged to Anakin Skywalker.
I know this is a long shot, but do you think the crystal we see Jyn with in the new trailer could possibly be the same crystal Luke uses for his green saber?
Considering that the Jedi "crystal planet" ilum has been mined to the core for the death star laser, there aren't a lot of alternative sources of a Kybur Crystal.
On Tarkin, the book is awesome! I really like how he was portrayed as up from a harsh, loveless youth and a mildly positive leader with his 'competent' subordinates, i.e. slight words of praise, thank's etc. I am curious to know more about his de-evolution which of course reaches the level of planetary genocide with Alderaan. Was it the very proximity to the Sith Lords?
as a very dark theory, yoda told luke he was the last jedi, we also know that yoda was well aware of ezra and kanan, how out there would it be that at some point kanan will die and ezra in his grief will turn to the teachings he got from the holocron in a search for revenge and that maybe he becomes snoke
Hi Star Wars explained! :) Do you think you could do a quick video on the newest issue of Poe Dameron? I think this issue in particular gives us a lot to talk about.
Boba Fett was in a story post Return of the Jedi. It was a set of three novels called The Bounty Hunter Wars that explained how he escaped the Sarlaac. Or do those novels not count?
Question for the next q&a, since Donald Glover has been so perfect cast as lando, if you could cast any musician\actor in star wars who would it be and what role would they play?
A follow on question regarding Lando: Do you think well see Lando Calrissian in Ep VIII or IX? And do you think we should see him? Afterall he is one of few main characters of the original triology we havent seen in TFA. Johan.
Do you think that with the introduction of Thrawn into the canon universe in the Rebels timeline, will we see other elements of the heir to the empire story-line come in as well? My idea is that in the next season we'll see a late teens Ezra on a solo mission to a certain planet where a rouge jedi master lives, and might come into contact with versions of Talon Karrde's and Mara Jade's characters. Ezra will fill Luke's role in the series, and will eventually be revealed as the father of Rey, with the Mara character as her mother. At the battle of Jakku, something has to happen to force one of them to abandon Rey on the planet.
If I had to choose anyone from the next gen characters to be the new Statesmen character Id actually choose Finn, Hes former First Order who defected, he seems to have a clear dislike for violence, and I think itd be interesting to see what you can do with that. Itd be cool if he later in life, goes on to try and help other Stormtroopers that don't want to be in the First Order via an underground Railroad or something.
Hey do you think they will add more Ships for the First Order? I think it is likely because they have said the First Order have new ships in development and Kyle Ren's ship is likely not the only Resurgence class and I think more ships would benefit games and mods so that they can include the First Order as a faction because they will finally have enough vehicles to add them as a faction.
in Star Wars how do they determine a day and a year if different planets have different lengths and if so does a year in a timeline work in earth years or Star Wars years
Hey I am wondering how do you know through the thing on the imperials left side of their chest what rank they are in the empire? The reason is for me is that there are so many ranks I don't know how to identified each one. Also what is the difference wit the red and the blue? I think it's blue. Another question is how many ranks were there and what were they?
My Theory: Finn is Lando's son/grandson. mostly because we don't really know about Finn's parents, they can say Lando was killed by the First Order defending his infant son
I'm pretty sure Supreme Chancellors had term limits. They mentioned that they had to amend the constitution to keep Palpatine in office and the Jedi insisted he step down as soon as the war was over.
Inserte Originale Name Here ________ Only the game mode Turning Point is considered a canon way the battle of jakku was fought, all other modes are just there for more variety.
Doesn't obi-wan mention that Palpatine "managed to stay in office long after this term was up." That would suggest that there were limits to how many times one could run for office.
Do you think when Jorge Lucas passes do you think Disney will redo the prequels and if so do you think general grevious will be in episode two for less confusion to other fans
A friend of mine asked me that didn't bother the fact the Jedi that they didn't know the full story of the origins of the Clone Army, and what they knew was that it was ordered against the will of the High Council and the sample was Jango Fett an ally of Dooku? So I want to know too, didn't it bother the Jedi? Why did they lead this army of mysteries?
tv9mpeti In episode 2 when Obi Wan asks Jango who he received orders from to make the clone army and Jango replied he got orders from a man called Tyrannus. Did the Jedi not know Count Dookus sith name and why didn't they try to find out who Tyrannus was because they thought it was Sifo Dyas who ordered for the clone army to be built
+Star Wars Explained I have a question. Do you know how Emperor Palpatine became deformed? I keep seeing the legends explanation when I try to find it online. So I was wondering if you knew the canon explanation.
Hey have you seen this version of the Star Wars Rogue One: International trailer it is from this guy called [ Emergency Awesome ] and the video is (Star Wars Rogue One Trailer and Episode 8 Trailer Update)?
If the first Jedi temple is on Ahch-to then why do the Jedi speculate that in the first temple could have been on Ossus, Tython or Jedha? And can even be sure that the temple on Ahch-to is the first Jedi temple?
Do you think that we will see any of the big ships from The New Republic navy in the future? Because they just destroyed them all in Episode 7 before we got a chance to see them
In ROTJ, Yoda tells Luke that when he dies, Luke will be the last of the Jedi. We know from Rebels that Yoda is aware of Kanan and Ezra---do you think that means they're both dead by the events of ROTJ or that Yoda just has a selective memory?
Have you played Star Wars the force unleashed 1 and 2? if so what do you think would happen if starkiller killed Darth Sidious at the end? Do you think starkiller will become Canon?
Hey! You should listen to the podcast The Film ReRoll. They play through movies like a game of D&D and one of their first movies is Raiders of the Lost Arc. It goes nothing like the movie but its so much fun to listen to.
I assume the new Star Wars Canon will eventually become as big as the original Expanded Universe once was. How closely do you think Canon should mirror the events of the EU? What would you change? What would you like to see explored further?
There is something you mentioned in this video something most people to be surprised about like how Rey beats Kylo Ren and you wanting Kylo Ren to defeat Rey in episode 8 now I just want to gently remind people did any of you when watching starwars movies think about the force and how that can be toyed with in a future episode 7 at the time because I did. I do not understand at all the flack episode 7 gets, yeah we all knew it was going to be a retread to some degree but to me and from my certain point of view lol. A I never wanted another male skywalker B I wanted it to be mostly about the solo's because even though I respect Luke always felt he should train his nephew but still have a kid of his own and at the end we see Luke with the prospect of Rey being his daughter. C I wanted Luke to be lost somewhere and D Rather than Luke having a son I wanted him to have a daughter. So as you can see I was quite happy with episode 7 so why on earth do most people hate the idea of Luke having a child considering episode 7 was completely Solo orientated! I know that Urban Acolyte also hates the idea of it and on quite a few youtube channels I respect concerning StarWars why is everyone so surprised if Rey beat Kylo Ren when there is the force and we know how strong it can be! I have also on your first channel video literally put my shortest life story, also on Urban Acolyte and no reactions what so ever and my suggestion for episode 8 title was ANSWERING TO THE CALL, someone with a big A and green background said it was ingenious and I got mixed up with names thinking that was Starwars explained reacting because name was also Alex. Its okay really I am quite used to no one reacting to me on all social media now! I have loads of thoughts on Starwars it means quite a lot to me my own version of 7,8,9 10,11,12,13,14, and 15 stuck in my head since I saw return of the jedi. I was a kid in the 90's and saw all Starwars on videotapes. StarWars was my escapism from bully's and I believed strongly in the force. When I think of Starwars I do not always think of great visuals I think of the force and how that can be played around with in future Starwars movies. I also believe there is more to the episode 7 title that the force had been switched of for many years which kept Rey well hidden but left Luke confused and reading books on the church of the force. Law San Tekka mind wiping Rey whilst a sleep and because of her strength in the force accidentally switching it all of thus why Snoke says there has been an awakening have you felt it? The force being turned back on in other words from the second Law San Tekka dies it re-awakes and why Finn becomes a traitor too. As force sensitives are being used to be first order storm troopers. Another thought I have is that it is far better to be weaker in the force and how being strong in it can be used against you such as also Anakins father actually being Palpatine. Tricking the Jedi to thinking he is the one by seducing Shmi then mind wiping her and all the Skywalkers being a tricked bloodline to Abeloth/Rey. Lukes daughter or grand daughter because in episode 4 Owen Lars does say You can waste time with your friends later after your chores are done so why does everyone assume him not to have had a social life before episode 4 starts. I would quite like it if at end of Rogue One Jyn's father says she has a secret sister with a different last name to protect her. Going to find her landing on Tattooine and evading storm troopers to get to her half sister. Her half sister then revealing she is pregnant but just found out the Lars home has been destroyed so the father must be dead! Secret descendent growing up the new canon books telling the skipped generations life thus leading to Rey on jakku of whom Law San Tekka chose to protect so that her parents could continue their rebel ways and eventually die. Thus Rey being a great grand daughter of Vader!
I never understand why people say Boba is alive just because he is in Battlefront. amiiboManReviewer Just because he's in battlefront? no because it's been hinted at repeatedly in the aftermath books though, not to mention the popular demand...
Sebastian Barber Yeah, sarlaacs take a thousand years to digest things, and it was salvaged from a blast wound. Kinda confirmation of his escape...
amiiboManReviewer that's different, Greedo is only beloved for shooting second, Boba just has this eerie mystique about him
***** I'm aware, just putting my two cents in lol
So Lando was with Maz. What do you think of possibility that he delivered Luke's light saber to her?
William Phillips Ok best idea yet
William Phillips actually makes a Lotta sense. they could write a novel or do another Lando comic explaining how it all went down.
That would make a lot of sense.
Luke DID lose his hand at Lando's Cloud City so yeah, Lando having/finding the saber and selling it- POSSIBLE
Trey Blake the way I would see it playing out is sometime after Luke disappears, one of Lando's workers mets him and states something like this: "Years ago I was cleaning out the solid bin on tube 15 and found this .... It think this might have belong to they friend of yours .. Skywalker. Here". I will come back and pay you for it or one day the rightful owner will come for it!"
66 years total for the whole trilogy timeline
" execute order 66 "
Darth Vader nice
That's my line!
The Emperor it's your favorite number master.
Mmm Hi there
"Execute Order 67 ... that's not Order 67 ... oh wait, it is. I meant Order 68. EXECUTE ORDER 68!"
I think Thrawn would make such a great emperor !
Grand Amiral Thrawn you would...
I know that, unfortunately, I was only Grand Admiral...
Do you think Star Wars rebels would benefit from the inclusion of story arcs that last multiple episodes? Do you think this is likely to happen?
well stuff in past episodes does effect future episodes but an arc that is say 3-5 episodes in a row could be really great, however I think Disney is against that wanting a more episodic series as that is easier for kids to watch.

Considering how life day is coming up on Thursday, how would you have made the Star Wars holiday special?
If you had been the Emperor right after ANH and faced with doing something after the Death Star's destruction, what would you have done? Would you have gone on to build a second Death Star, or would you have done something else?
Would you wanna see Ezra turn to the dark side and fight Kanan and take his place at Vaders side as an apprentice kind of like Starkiller?
Negan and Lucille no. Starkiller is a stupid character
Thanks for including my comment Alex, I'm a huge fan of the channel!
Love your vids, man. I watch them almost immediately after they are uploaded.
Keep it up!
for q&a: would Thrawn make a good emperor
for q&a: when are you continuing your let's play series
Tomorrow is a test!
Star Wars Explained OOOO😏
For Q&A In Episode One "The Phantom Menace" was Qui-Gon-Jin and Obi-Wan deliberately set up to escape to Naboo after the blockade negotiations failed?
what do you want to see in the upcoming yoda comic?
66 years, coincidence, I think not!
griffinandjack productionz :O
griffinandjack productionz illuminati confirmed! 🤔😑👽👾😱
Lando opened a colt 45 brewery after episode 6. now he's just chillin' with the ladies.
For the next Q&A I would like to know why it is Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru don't recognize 3PO and, R2; from having previously owned 3PO a little over 20 years before A New Hope and, having seen R2 and knowing he once belonged to Anakin Skywalker.
When I saw that trailer I was like my god they are going good
I know this is a long shot, but do you think the crystal we see Jyn with in the new trailer could possibly be the same crystal Luke uses for his green saber?
Considering that the Jedi "crystal planet" ilum has been mined to the core for the death star laser, there aren't a lot of alternative sources of a Kybur Crystal.
e115mastery I don't think so
it's not
KotOR isn't canon, but in canon crystals do grow in other places besides Ilum they're just extremely rare.
eNDMyLifE bOi They aren't rarer, they can be found all over the galaxy, such as Lothal
So pumped for catalyst!! Yea.... I've got it pre-ordered

Are you considering buying the Nissan rouge one?
Haha I wish. Gonna have to stick to my Nissan She's Got It Where It Counts.
Star Wars Explained perhaps used in a couple of years then, or just buy a cool SW bumper sticker
HANSE
in a legends book, Dengar finds Boba Fett by the sarlaac pit and helps him recover

Good job👍
would you want to see more battle droids from the prequel era in the sequel trilogy?
Do a video on What happened to Count Dooku's Lightsaber after Episode 3 pls
Your wife as Darth Molly was awesome.
Hi Star Wars explained! :) Do you think you could do a quick video on the newest issue of Poe Dameron? I think this issue in particular gives us a lot to talk about.
exactly the same reaction when thrawn was revealed. love the old trilogy and can't wait for the new book(s). :)
Do you think Luke still has his lightsaber in Episode VIII?
I thought it would have been cool if instead of being in Rebels, Thrawn could be in The First Order to keep his timeline post ROTJ
The new novels place Lando and Lobot back and Bespin retoring the city.
Who would you PERSONALLY like to see Snoke revealed as?
Edward Keane mace windu
Edward Keane snoke has been revealed in aftermath
The_ Dark_Side_Gamer116 It was more of a suggestion/hint, there was no explicit statement.
Edward Keane who did it hint at
porkins
ALEX LOVES THE CRYSTAL SKULL!!!!!!
Boba Fett was in a story post Return of the Jedi. It was a set of three novels called The Bounty Hunter Wars that explained how he escaped the Sarlaac. Or do those novels not count?
Do you think we will see captain Pellaeon in Rebels or in other canon material?
LOONG LIVE LANDO!
Could you do a video about Gozanti-class ships?
Question for the next q&a, since Donald Glover has been so perfect cast as lando, if you could cast any musician\actor in star wars who would it be and what role would they play?
Can u do a video on the Jedi dass jenner who joined the nansourians to fight the newly formed empire (legends)
Im here from the future to tell you about Rogue One... it wasnt bad

What are your predictions for future anthology films after Episode IX?
for Q&A what role do you think Benicio del Toro will take in episode 8, and or what would you like him to be?
I remember subscribing at 10,000 subscribers
Jack Johnson same
I remember 5,000

Does anybody know what the span of time is between all three of the Rebels seasons?
I believe it's two to three years. Ezra turned 15 halfway through season one, and he's 17 now.
Star Wars Explained Cool, thanks.
How do you send comments for the next Q&A video?
How much time passed between Attack Of The Clones and Revenge Of The Sith?
BrettGB I think 3 to 4 years roughly.
Do you think that we'll ever see miraluka's cathar's and other star wars species on Rebels movies among other star wars things?

Favorite Star wars Fan-Film??
Is battlefront considered cannon with characters and places not events
In legends Boba survived the pit..even trained Jaina Solo how to track down her brother, and eventually kill him. Still alive last I read.
I'm pretty sure Supreme Chancellors had term limits. They mentioned that they had to amend the constitution to keep Palpatine in office and the Jedi insisted he step down as soon as the war was over.
What about Thrawn as the emporer
+Star Wars Explained Can you do an explained to Vima da boda? one of the longest survivors of order 66
Can ligthsabers cut trough other ligthsabers?
Star Wars battlefront has a post rotj maps during the battle of jakku you can play as boba
it would mean that Vader and sidious are also alive...

Brad Schill oh, okay the way he explained t was a little confusing
What do you think about the Captain Phasma being Rey's mother theory? Would you like to see that in 8 or 9?
What happened to tarkin after the second Death Star exploded?
Sportsgaming22 Rocks He died in the first death star you know that of course
Doesn't obi-wan mention that Palpatine "managed to stay in office long after this term was up." That would suggest that there were limits to how many times one could run for office.
I agree with you Raiders off the lost ark is a good movie despite its plot hole
Do you think when Jorge Lucas passes do you think Disney will redo the prequels and if so do you think general grevious will be in episode two for less confusion to other fans
Do you ever watch Star Wars fan films on youtube, and if so, do you have any suggestions?
lol every time you annouce the winner of a give away I m like whaaaaat there was a give away??? XD
The can't break tradition every 2nd movie in a trilogy someone gets captured someone goes to rescue them but there's a trap and then they lose a hand
Do you think we'll get any multimedia projects in the new canon just like in legends with Shadows Of The Empire & Clone Wars multimedia project ?
I think thrawn would be a good emperor
How many known clone contingency orders were there in legends? We only know of one in the canon, order 66.
I hope they don't overcorrect and make Rey a weakling.
they wouldn't kill off boba fett
because he's so damn popular
they'll for sure make a film(s) out of him
and he most definitely will beat a Jedi or two
hell even Jedi masters there
they'll do everything to hype him

Is BoShek cannon? If he is then is his run with Infinity on the Kessel Run cannon?
Do you think a new star wars animated series would be released after rebels? If it does, what storyline would you hope for?
Why does everyone love Grand Admiral Thrawn so much?
Do you think any of the Ghost Crew will make it to the battle of Yavin?
