Interestingly when new music(rock and roll) started to become more trendy than the jazz swing music, a lot of the swing/crooner vocalists really did NOT like the new music and shunned it for a really long time. A great concept of a swing singer actually tongue in cheek "covering" the rock in roll style, while also berating it, is Nat King Coles "Mr.Cole Wont Rock and Roll". It's a great listen.

@@somewhat1007 yes but, having a reference voice that is similar to yours helps you get a more accurate rendition of the song if it’s something your trying to practice. Pitch helps but in my personal experience with artists, it’s still up to me to help communicate the song to there tone and style which is now easily possible in ai voice overs because now they can here the song in there voice rather my own which makes the process so much easier.

The only part that sounds unnatural is when he sings the tag line "Glimpse of Us" Sinatra rarely went outside of his natural Harmony. He probably would've sang the tagline with a more subdued or subtle yet powerful Baritone in his voice and not at a Falsetto

@bilbaomadrid5040 I think he probably could've got there a little BUT I don't think his sustain would've been great in Falsetto. Sinatra's speaking voice was very deep so I doubt he would ever comfortably sing in a higher pitch

This is remarkable, the only thing that tips off the fact that it isn't actually Sinatra or a sound-alike is the fact that there's so much damn reverb on his voice. That and the subtle flutter
And the part when he's like "Why then if she's so perf?". Joji actually says "perfect". I don't really get why they had to cut the word like that.
@@cccbeats_ I don't think its that the creator is purposely cutting the word, its that Joji very melancholily slurs the ends of his words in the song. I assume they shoved his voice into an AI model that couldn't recognize the slurs, and just cut off the ends to make a shorter legible word.
