I don’t think it’s AI because he lowers the tone of his voice where as AI uses his usual voice from recordings
either ai has made it where it can mimic "schlatts" voice exactly , i dont think its ai by how he can lower his tone of voice without not hearing even a bit of Frank Sinatra's accent or voice (which not even the ai covers of "schlatt" my way can possibly do)
The way ai voices work is by imitating the original vocals with the voice library it's been trained on. So ye, he's genuinely that good 😮

I personally like AI covers in general. I've made them, but not shared them. I've made them of people who I find comforting to hear their voices, and them singing, but can't for whatever reason. It's just something that's nice to have, for me it's theraputic. If they (the fun police, government, however you put it), takes the ability for us to make AI covers away, I'll probably cry. What's the harm, if you're not sharing it? People will disagree with me, I'm sure, but I'm just saying. I find it EXTREMELY comforting to hear one of my favorite radio hosts singing the theme to 77 Sunset Strip . The thing is, I could totally see him singing it for real back when he was on the radio. Anyway, that's my take.

As a singer myself, I can say that the fact the AI sounds realistic means you have a good singing voice!
I was at a work party when a Sinatra song came on but the voice sounded different. I tapped my foot and I was talking to a few people. Out of the corner of my eye I see the Sinatra album cover with huge sideburns. I immediately understood what was going on. Nobody else realized and I didn't want to mention it but the schlatt version worked wonderfully. It was a nice version of the original song

I am a 45 yo father, probably one of the oldest people watching this channel. I am a single father to my Son, who is 14 now. My son has been watching since Christmas in 2021. By the end of the week he had watched 30 hours of your content. This was horrible for me, as it was already hard for me to find ways to spend time with my son, as he is always out with his friends or just watching TH-cam. So i decided to make a google account and search your channel to see if I could maybe watch alongside him. I loaded the channel page, picked a video and started playing but I was stuck on where the humor is. I asked my Son for help and he hosted a watch party for me to join. I loved it as it was the best time I had spent with my Son since my wife had died. This channel has ever since brought me and my son closer again and now we actually spend time together outside the house together as well. This channel reminded me that there's fun to be had in everything, and it has brought both me and my Son many happy memories.

If you compare the way he sings “man” to the way a professional singer like Frank Sinatra sings “man” there’s a slight difference. And Schlatt’s cover wasn’t even bad, I just enjoyed realizing I could tell it wasn’t AI.
