  • Dr. Stanley Chetcuti of Michigan Medicine and the Michigan Structural Heart Consortium presents "Bicuspid TAVR: Appropriateness, Preparation, & Procedural Considerations" during the MISHC MiTVT2 Educational Meeting on May 7th, 2024.
The Michigan Structural Heart Consortium (MISHC) is a collaboration between the Michigan Society of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons (MSTCVS) and Michigan Cardiovascular Consortium (BMC2).
MISHC is a quality improvement network designed to improve quality of care and outcomes in patients who undergo structural heart procedures, including transcatheter aortic valve replacement, mitral valve replacement, and mitral valve repair procedures.
    More information at mishc.org.
Support for MISHC is provided by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Michigan and Blue Care Network as part of the BCBSM Value Partnerships program. Although Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and MISHC work collaboratively, the opinions, beliefs, and viewpoints expressed by the author do not necessarily reflect the opinions, beliefs, and viewpoints of BCBSM or any of its employees. Further, BCBSM does not have access to MISHC data, and all patient episodes occurring at engaged hospitals are included in the data registries, regardless of payer.
