This band has what is called the "it" factor. You can't exactly define it but you know it when it is there and when it is missing. Band-Maid has it in spades. Simply put as good as the individual members are the total is far greater than the sum of its parts. Cannot wait to see them live at the Echoplex. Regards from Sacramento.

This is one of my favorites from their first full album (not that there's anything bad about it :D)... I just really love that chorus and also the transition into it which changes a little bit every verse :)
always a struggle to find an answer to what that SOMETHING is. the music is earnest, punchy, catchy, peppered with just enough flourish everywhere, well produced, well performed.. and for me, having the right(not "best" or most whatever) drummer makes a world of difference

If you are stuck for a live reaction, try this one out for "Glory". It's a fan-cam, but the quality of these goes up and up. If you don't mind dipping into official videos, Gion-Cho, their other Band-Maiko video, would be a good choice. They also put out a new video the other day "Endless Story", which is a softer one, but still really well done and clearly in the Band Maid style.
