I wandered the musical dessert for over a couple decades listening to the same old boring songs and pure un imaginative music until one fateful day in 2016 when I heard a group called Band-Maid play a song called Thrill on a TH-cam suggestion, it literally changed my musical life, and in August I will finally have my day to see them in person, I'm in my sixties and have lived through all of the great artists of rock, and I will finally get to see the absolute best that's ever been, Arigato Gozaimasu Ohrenje-San for everything you do for this band.
I would think they'd be pretty impressed that they can play a couple of songs from 6 1/2 years ago, and the foreign fans not only know of the song and are excited to hear it, but sing along like it was just released.
Band Maid is the only band I know of (and I'm 59) that could NOT play ANY of my top 10 favorites of theirs and I would not be disappointed. They are so damn good and their catalog is so solid already!
I agree. The amount of quality in their catalog is flat out unbelievable. A setlist that satisfies everyone is nothing less than impossible, or they would have to play 7-8 hours straight. Not that I would mind, but it's too important to me that the ladies are healthy and happy. 🙏🏻😏
@@phaeron Agree with all of that, especially the last part. As much as we Maidiacs love our ladies and their music, we also care about them as people. We want the very best for them, especially the happy and healthy part. You are spot on, Mate!
@@charlescoleman4017 For sure. And it is such a physical job rocking out like that, down to the fingers. Health is essential to being able to perform well, aside from just have a blast doing it. When our Maids are happy, we are happy!
I was at TGT and saw Band-Maid play I'll live. It's one of their great heavy metal songs. It's not as fast as most BM songs, it's more dark and deep, still the chorus is catchy as usual. Mincho's solo is great, and MISA have a short slap bass solo. And then we have Corallium. Great songs, please include them in a future video. Greetings from Norway.
Hate making over the top statements about the band. But I can't recall Mincho being so up for it and looking so happy so consistently than She has on this part of the tour. MISA looks more relaxed and Saiki just seems to become better and better and more commanding. Miku and Akane are always so reliable and great. They all look content and even happier than normal.
I was at the Detroit show it was amazing experience my first time ever seeing them live and I’m a long time fan my sister and I came from Canada 🇨🇦 too see them I was surprised that there were lots of Canadian’s there but it was a incredible show Saiki and Misa smiled at me and Saiki pointed to my sister in the balcony and smiled at her Akane on drums she the best in the world 🌎 her skill level is crazy good my favorite drummer 🥁 they all killed it I was on Misa side her bass was freaking good!!!! Kanami is the goat on guitar 🎸 Miku is freaking amazing Saiki voice is beautiful and powerful they are the best band in the world 🌎 Band-Maid and also the fans are awesome 👏 super nice people we all got along with each other and just rock out Po!!! And after the show we waited around but we keep our distance but Akane smiled at wave 👋 to us was so worth the wait they are incredible 👍🌎😊🎸🥁❤️🔥👏👏👏👏

man, what a great job you are doing. When I went to their concert at the TGT my wife overheard a conversation from within the BM team that the girls are so overwhelmed by their over seas support and you are a part of that, Im hoping they acknowledge that next time they tour Europe, which I know will happen in 24

No shows in AZ so I guess I'll be sitting this tour out. But if I could see them live, I would love to see them play any of there songs but if I had to choose specific ones, I'd choose Blackhole, Don't You Tell Me, Different, and Blooming.
In my opinion, the biggest differences between the October '22 and May '23 shows were Mincho's joy and precision....and Saiki's vocal and physical command
Carry on Living from the Charlotte show. I hope they play "Moratorium" on the North American tour. I'm going way up to Minneapolis. I think they played it a few times in Japan for the Tenth anniv. tour. Whatever they choose is fine with me though.
Great editing! Seamless meshing of different shows that I did not realize until the end of the final song with Saiki in different positions on stage. Must have taken a lot of time and effort.
Awkward and anemone wasn't played in the first half of this US tour. I was sure they were going to play them as they did in Japan just before coming here.
I have to wonder if using the D Class Solid State Heads was a financial decision or for reliability and consistency or both. In a way it makes sense and certainly cuts the cost of touring. Unless you're Joe Bonamassa or Paul McCartney why would you tour overseas with those tube heads? I do think the sounds has lost some girth. But it's not slamming the PAs either. I can't tell for sure since the skipped my city this time, but maybe the sound at that venue was the reason, or that they had been here twice already. I hope it wasn't because they had a bad experience here.
Got to appreciate genuine tube amps. Maybe next tour they can have solid state for back ups. I can’t really tell, but then I kind of can. I bet it was a reliability issue.

I agree. They could play any one of three or four completely different 18 song sets and I would walk away a very happy man.
