It's always amusing when people react to hearing her english, especially her 'rapping', as most don't expect it - she can sing and rap like that in at least FOUR languages - her native Thai, the english she learned at her school and has been developing over the years*, the Korean she has to learn as a trainee, and the Japanese they had to learn as trainees for that market. If that wasn't enough, she has some Chinese - mandarin - and I believe some conversational french.
When you check out BLACKPINK proper - th-cam.com/users/BLACKPINKOFFICIAL - you'll get used to them inter-mixing english and korean in the same lines - and english and japanese for the japanese language song versions.
*Rosé, one of her BLACKPINK co-members was born and initially raised in New Zealand before moving to Australia at 8 (?) where she lived unti 14 (?) and her move to Korea where they all met up - both counties being english speaking.
