Adding the extra chorus at the end of Lalisa was actually Lisa's idea. The producer wanted to end the song with the last verse but she insisted on an other chorus to have a complete conclusion. Its great that you've caught on to that, some people find it repetitive but it really completes the song.

Yes it was Lisa’s decision to add one more chorus to Lalisa. The haters always try to say Blackpink has zero say in their music, but it’s simply not true. They even have a lot of say and input on their group songs. Not so much in the beginning of their career, but after DDD they had a lot more input. They even have a lot of input for the music videos. They have written a lot of the lyrics despite the fact that YG seldom puts them in the credits for their contributions. But for their solo works, they had almost total control. If they really wanted something, they got it. They are at a point in their career now that they have a huge amount of influence over what they do. People tried to blame YG for Jennie’s solo not being a rap- heavy song, but it was Jennie’s decision. She said she was just more into vocals at that time.

26:52 Yes, Teddy is their main producer. He's Korean but grew up in the US -- he became a rapper for YG's label for about 10 years then switched to being a writer/producer. He's been the main producer for all of BLACKPINK's songs, though he does collaborate with a bunch of other producers and writers as well. I think his time in the US has helped him create that unique sound that mixes typical Kpop sounds with Western music (mostly hip-hop and edm) that BLACKPINK by far does better than anyone else.
And many "Blinks" don't realize how important Teddy is to bp's success and begin to despise him whenever they see him on the tracklist, saying his music is all sounds the same. But I'm always relieved to see his name and the tbl crew on every bp tracklist.

There are many dissagreements in K-pop fans like any music industry, but one thing that most people agree on is that BigBang are basicly the "Kings" og modern K-pop, because they started many of the trends that are stil present today. Most if not all members are now doing a comeback, and are doing so under BlackLable rather then YG for whatever reason. Lisa and Taeyang just released a song a couple of days ago as a collaboration. He was one of BigBangs members.
Each of their solo fits their personality really well... With Jennie it will be Rap + vocal with sexiness and confidence, Rosé is humble queen, fun person but yet she's an emotional person..her solo shows more on the lyrical meaning and beautiful vocal, Lalisa is a confident and very outgoing person, she's great in dancing as well so her solo portrays well her dance ability and she chose the song that shows confidence (because i remember in one interview when she first time listen to money when the producer play it she immediately choose the song as one of her solo) and lastly Jisoo, she is the visual..the representation of Korean's beauty, she's an actress but at the same time she's has a lovable personality, you see it clearly in her solo..her solo looks like a fashion show that portrays her beauty and her acting ability but with a fun choreo.. others may feels like one from the other have a better solo debut...but for me i'm glad their solo shows who they are as an individual artist.. they all great both as soloist and as a group ❤❤❤❤
