    I appreciate your video; although I wish you would have shown us how to loosen the nuts on the shift shaft.

    Hey what about the shift rod when removing lower unit,i cant figure out ,it seems to be holding it up

      My shift rod comes apart where 2 nuts meet on lower end. Mark the nut placement, as they need to snug up to each other again in the same spot.

      @Aberystwythaberdoveyboatuser unable to find torque settings buuut it was not alot of torque...sorry I can't help. If and when I do it again, I will comeback and comment what I did for torque.

      Good news I got the settings I think! But I am not a professional, this is just what I did.
      For my future knowledge sake:
      Lower Unit Bolts : 16.6ft lbs or 2.295 kgs or 200 inch lbs
      Impeller Housing : 6ft lbs or 0.83kgs or 72 inch lbs
